Maybe as a member of AOG, you think what he said hurt you, I understand, but we should learn to be patient.
You may think it is wrong for him to judge a person, but at the same time, you may also judge that he is wrong.
Let God do it. We don't have the ability to see through a person's heart.

One thing to understand is that it is not surprising that everyone has different ideas and views when reading the Bible.

It's difficult to achieve uniform standards unless one day God says what things should be.
I agree with you, however, this is not his first rodeo on this topic or thread of this type where he has said many invalid things about Pentecostals.
Judging one who is wrong is not a judgment. I have not said he is of the devil yet many like him as he has said we are devil worshipers so, tell the judgment to him.

Maybe we shouldn't comment on a person in public. Anyway, I won't comment on what the church or pastor do. Even if I think they may have shortcomings, we should avoid such things. Judging others will be judged by others. This is the word of the Bible.

I agree, yet that si what he did and associates his experience with all. Yet he has the freedom to do so, and I will call him on it each time. Again I am not judging him and if you think telling someone what they said is wrong to be judgment I disagree. many say don't judge to stop the narrative from continuing it is used as a silencing tactic. Everything is judgment today then nothing is.

Just don't make a quick decision.

You can ask him what he understands differently from the aog pastor,Then you can explain your understanding of the Bible as an AOG member.

This can avoid misunderstandings.

I was raised Pentecostal, but Independent, no Denomination Connection. I dated a girl around my age, when I was 20, whose father was and still is an AOG Pastor. Discussing the Bible with him was useless. He reminded me of what I read about Hitler. If your ideas did not match his according to his interpretation of the Word of God, he would scream at you and demean you. I will just say this much, he lost quite a bit in his life since then. Even softened up. But those AoG people in the 1990's were difficult to be around.
So what is the different understanding between you?

Are your different understandings about the Bible or different beliefs?

are you asking me questions about the thread topic?

I said the answer is yes. And provided the reasons why I believe this from the word of God. I would be happy to share it with you again.

There are no differences. He just was a type of person that if one proved him wrong, he would follow you around and harass you instead of debating the facts. He was a very insecure human being and used his position to push his agenda. And as a possible future Son in Law, he figured I was an easy target.

I am confused. You are not concerned because as a Preacher he would attempt to destroy your character, you just are concerned about what he taught that could be questioned?

I am sure someone said it... these signs shall follow them that believe. Peter and John why look at us as if we did this by our own power. Its FAITH <--key word faith in that name.

Yes many today preach the word of God....and how blessed they are yet don't believe in signs.. gone or what have you. Yet ANYONE that comes to Christ and since GOD is the only reason they came.. He calls them. So anyone coming to Christ He will never turn away.. are saved. He found me in a NO OFFENSE Ok.. Baptist Church. Which I LOVE.. yet believe in see signs wonders.. they always follow His word.

I think since you mentioned he is wrong, at least you need to clarify the details of the matter. I don't mean anything else.

When Jesus was in a place where He couldn't do miracles, it wasn't because He lacked the faith to do them. It was because the people weren't receptive to it. In a world where fewer and fewer people are receptive to it, it is only natural that the numbers of miracles will decline. Until the very end, that is, when the Spirit will pour out upon His faithful. At that time they will happen whether the people are receptive or not, because at that time the power of Faith will reside with the doer and not the receiver. That time is drawing nigh my friend.
Yes that pouring and anointing is something that has been on my heart for a while now I felt it coming sensing it's nearness I even recently wrote a poem abput it not knowing what I was writing it's just how he works with me he will lead me to write and I never know what I am going to be writing but once I start the words just flow.
This pouring of the spirit was in fact what I ended up writing about as if prophesying it but while when I write of things they feel solid and true I sometimes question it afterwards and didn't know if what I wrote was in fact true or not

But I just can't shake this feeling of a rain pouring on his people

I wonder if the apostle Paul thought this way?

I don't know where you got this idea but you should probably spend more time in the whole New Testament, not just the gospels.

"How can anyone of you who has a dispute with another dare to have it judged before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? Don’t you know that the saints are to be judging the world? So if the world is to be judged by you, are you not competent to judge the smallest matters? Don’t you know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!"—1Corinthians 6:1-3

I agree we shouldn't just go around condemning people willy-nilly; but there's a time and place for everything. If we as Christians turn our eyes from things that are harming the body we're little more than cowards, not saints.
