The angel is just saying that he is a servant of God, like John and his fellow prophets.
That its easy to make the mistake of worshipping God's messengers instead of God alone.Rev 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
Rev 22:9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
Here an angel seems to claim to be one of the OT prophets. Thoughts?
I believe they are exactly what they claim to be "fellow servants" who were men and now are in their glorified bodies, illuminated in God's glory.
How could anyone be in a glorified body before the resurrection?
I don't know that these men were in their glorified bodies, I think they were. If the pre-trib view is correct, the rapture has taken place the instant John is called to heaven in his vision.
John was raptured but not anyone else with him so it's not proof of pre-trib. Paul and Christ placed the rapture post-trib so that is the only valid position if one is going to go by what the bible says about when it happens.
The angel is just saying that he is a servant of God, like John and his fellow prophets.
