that’s why we have to let Jesus be the judge this is the law of liberty

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:31-32‬ ‭KJV‬‬
It depends on who you think Jesus is.

Is He "The everlasting Father" (Isaiah 9:6) in your opinion?

The law makes us guilty Jesus is about repentance and remission of sins that’s why we don’t want Moses judging us by his law
Sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4)

Moses isn’t our judge <fify> by his law he’s an accuser and the commandment have already proved we’re all sinners
Those who will be judged worthy of the lake of fire will be condemned over the fact that they were sinners in regard to Moses' law.

Because they did not avail themselves of the forgiveness that God has to offer them, they will be judged for their sins according to the law and will be found guilty before God because of the law.

The law of liberty is the ten commandments.

At least, two of the ten are included in it:

Jas 2:11, For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
Jas 2:12, So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
I notice you cut out the rest that makes it clear what he’s saying

“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.”
‭‭James‬ ‭2:10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that’s why James is saying this

So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy;

and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
‭‭James‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

in other words

“Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you:

But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

James is saying live That way because just one sin under the law makes you guilty of all it makes a one time liar the same as an adulterer who commits it a hundred times

“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”

brother doesn’t just this statement make you reconsider

“And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:13-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

why would we want to blind ourself and have a veil that we can’t see through on our heart ? That’s what we’re trying to get out of and step into the light Christs law

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Why wouldnt you convert to this knowledge

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

rather than this

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s hard to believe you aren’t seeing what’s there

your theories are always so far off it’s hard to even keep up yeah sin is transgression of the law lol because the law is what gives knowledge of sin…..Jesus is about remission of sins. And fulfilling the law removing it from us.

“Those who will be judged worthy of the lake of fire will be condemned over the fact that they were sinners in regard to Moses' law.”

“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

…Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment:

but the righteous into life eternal.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:41-46‬ ‭KJV‬‬

but nevertheless I’ll stop it seems like an endless corcle of rejecting scripture and explaining what you think

You seem to think that I am trusting in my law-keeping to save me. Nothing could be further from the truth.

However, I will say in response to you that Christ's law includes the law of Moses (Matthew 5:17-20).

I stand on my statement that the law of liberty is the ten commandments; for I believe that this concept is substantiated by James 2:11-12.

If we look into the perfect law of liberty and continue in it, we will be blessed in what we do (James 1:25); provided we are not under the curse of the law found in Galatians 3:10.

We can be certain to not be under the curse of the law if we know that we have been justified through faith in the blood of Jesus and therefore are not attempting to be justified by the law.

Thus, for the New Covenant believer, the law ceases from being a condemning taskmaster and becomes a set of wisdom principles to live by through which we can be blessed in what we do.

Now what is so hard for you to understand about that?

Moses is also an intercessor,

Exo 32:31, And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.
Exo 32:32, Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin—; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.
right based on his words and the blood he shed of animals for ancient Israel

“And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.

And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭24:7-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This was thier laws purpose

“Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that’s the old covenant ot was a mere pattern for the new

this word that Jesus preached all through Israel

“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:22, 24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and then yer he preached the word he shed his blood of the New Testament

“For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭26:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

do you think there’s no new covenant or ? I’m not really sure where your even coming from at this point seems like desperation to try to be right that was never my intention I was hoping you might consider the scriptures and maybe let them sink in

Did not God command us to love our neighbor as ourselves in the Old Testament also?

Therefore they will be told to depart from Jesus as cursed ones because they failed to love their neighbor as themselves for they would have been doing that had they given him meat when he hungered, etc..

Please note that they are not cast into everlasting fire for their failure to do good works but because they were never saved and therefore did not have the love of the Lord shed abroad in their hearts (Romans 5:5).

And why are you rejecting scripture if you think that it is such a bad thing?

Not rejecting any scripture I just don’t think your ideas have any scriptural support on this subject your words aren’t Scripture are they ?

you are telling me your ideas and then referencing a scripture that has no support for what you are saying so yeah I definately have some differences in your ideas but no I’m pretty much in agreement with scripture that’s why I keep showing it to you before I say anything

certainly not this right ?

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”

that has nothing to do with it does it ? Isn’t that the exact opposite imputing sin ?

remission of sin is what the gospel is about the opposite of that

remission of sin is what the gospel is about the opposite of that
Remission has to do with taking away the power to do damage of the thing that is being put in remission; such as when cancer is put into remission.

Usually when cancer is put into remission, it loses its power to do damage because the tumour has shrunk.

Remission of sins means that the power of sin "shrinks" so that we do not operate under sin's power any longer. Just read all of Romans chapter 6.

I think that maybe you are coming form the perspective of justification whereas I am speaking to you with sanctification in mind.
all I’m saying is Moses law blinds people to Christ , the gospel presents God as he is in truth the law shows God how Adam saw him like this

“And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that’s how they saw him when he gave the law they asked God not to speak anymore

“Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the Lord our God any more, then we shall die.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭5:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God approved their request and then he promised to send Jesus to speak his word to the people later

According to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭18:16-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That’s Moses himself explaining that the latter word to come was Zelda requirement that’s what Peter is explaining here about Jesus

“For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:22-24, 26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

of Moses understood Christs word was Gods word of requirement why shouldn’t we ? That’s why it’s written Moses law was temporary only meant to last until Jesus arrived

“Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭

We understand who the seed is

“Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the law has a purpose it was put in place to give the knowledge of sin to sinners

“Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

why was it in place until Christ came ? Because only someone conscious of thier sin will ever repent of it , and realize they need a savior righteous people don’t think they have anything to repent of that’s how the law leads us to Christ it reveals that we’re sinners to and will die without Jesus

it was only meant to last until the promosed seed came

The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The only reason I think it’s important is when Christians preach that other Christians need to keep the law of Moses ot is actually subverting the soul of the person hindering thoer salvation

“Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭15:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s a yoke no one can bear and no Christian needs try to bear

“Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭15:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Brother my only intent in discussing with you was hoping you would let in the scripture that you must not have seen or considered much but I’m capable of being wrong like anyone is I just believe the scripture is pretty clear on this subject
