Just explain this model the best way you know how, in your own words, without referring to your podcast. You should at least have a working understanding on what you believe? You have read books, spent thousands of hours on this study, so it shouldn't take you more than a few minutes...right?

I see two real pitfalls for the flat earth believers.

1. Don't have a working model of the solar system, or how the sun, and moon work in relation to a flat earth. You already admitted, that team flat earth hasn't had enough time to do this in 8 years.

2. The actual flat earth map that you believe is incorrect. Not gonna debate this one, until point 1 is handled. You got to have the horse, before the cart can be pulled.

The sun also changes angular size throughout the course of the day (you can find many time lapse videos of this) and there are also videos of it clearly arcing across the sky - instead of taking a straight path - as it continues on its circuit around the Earth plane.

You should read "Kings Dethroned." It's all about the assumptions underlying modern astronomy, especially as regarding the distances of the sun, moon, and stars. Bad math and appeal to authority have resulted in the modern accepted figures. The fact is that we don't know exactly how far any of these bodies are.

I watch the moon quite often, because when it is mostly lit I don't sleep well.

And if by "the messenger" you mean NASA, yes I do shoot them. Go look up who the NASA administrator is right now. Tell me, are they in any secret societies?

I actually just watched this video for the first time, and Dave agrees with me. Having a model is pretty important.

Dave seems arrogant though, wish he would bring his ideas across, without being so puffed up. Actually think the flat earthers in the video had some valid points, but with so many bad view points, the true things they were saying, got lost in the mix.

Dave seems like he is more on a science debate team, than a esteemed scientist. Just my view point. I heard a saying, if you can't do it, teach it. Dave says, he is a professor at the Bachelors and Master level, so maybe his messages will mature with time.

An actual scientist who has accomplished and invented things, typically have a much different demeanor, than put down Dave. Professor Put Down sounds more accurate, after watching a few of his videos. I seen Professor Put Down do his work on Kent Hovind and it was a train wreck. The lack of respect this man shows for the Bible is typical for secular college teachers.

Well to me it looks like an egg, the earth being the yolk enveloped in the egg white, water above and beneath the firmament? You will also notice there is a white, thin filament between the egg white and the shell. That could also be the firmament? You can splice it in have though so you can set it on a foundation?

A lot of ancient cultures held to a "cosmic egg" cosmology. From what I can tell, the Bible doesn't tell us the exact shape of the firmament. "Dome" is an interpretation from the portrayal of God spreading out the heavens "like a tent" in the Scriptures, but other shapes can be spread too. It could also be a plane extending in all directions, or something else. The Bible is clear that the Earth is fixed and it does not move... and there are numerous suppressed science experiments which have proven this. Like the "axis of evil" phenomenon.

I have not read into what ancient cultures viewed the earth to be but that was the first thing that came to mind when I saw that image lol. And what is the shape of the Earth? I've looked into the Blue Marble and read articles on how NASA lies, even that the images taken of supposedly in space are really just in a huge pool lol.

Yup, definitely something fishy with NASA. Why all the CG fakery when they could just give us real pictures.... IF they can do what they say?

By the way, for any conspiracy skeptics out there, check out footage from other countries' space programs and compare it to ours. Their CG is much worse, so you can see the fakery even more obviously. And you can see the stories don't match. Compare JAXA's Earthrise from the moon versus NASA's, for example.

The only source I'm finding at a glance is a dubious and unprofessional blog clearly designed to discredit flat earthers. Their argument is that Rowbotham must have been a Freemason since he was knighted.

The site also implies that flat earth is a CIA psyop... despite the fact it long precedes the CIA and its predecessor the OSS.
