Russia Preparing for War.


I believe that Russia is preparing for war. I will write what I believe and then open it up for discussion. More details can be shared as we go on.

God`s word tells us that Russia will be brought down to the land of Israel by God in the latter years. (Ez. 38: 16)

I believe what we are seeing today with Russian troops outside the Ukraine is but the preliminaries. Putin, the President of Russia, is, I believe testing the waters to see whether the USA & NATO will go to war. A weakened USA and leader is just what Putin needs to bring about his `evil plan.` (Ez. 38: 10)

Along with Russia are `many people.` These are some of the former nations of the USSR. They have formed an Alliance, (CSTO, Collective Security Treaty organisation) and their first mission was recently in Kazakhstan. This Alliance is led by Russia and includes - Belarus, Tajikistan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

Also with Russia is Iran. (Ez. 38: 5 Persia/Iran). And recently Iran has been sending many Shi-ites into Syria to build up numbers there. This is strategically where I see the Russian Federation will be brought down to - Syria. From there they will go into the Golan Heights in Israel.

The International Community believe that Israel is the `occupying power` there and thus will not retaliate when Russia invades. The Golan Heights has mountains and unwalled villages. There is oil and gas, good water, fertile ground etc all `booty` for Russia to take.

`Thus says the Lord God, “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: You will say, “I will go up against a land of unwalled villages, I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell without walls, and having neither bars nor gates` -

to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land.` (Ez. 38: 10 - 12)

this the end times predicting that I got caught up in for years, but neither you nor I know what this is until it comes to pass. The Russian federation might completely fall apart and a thousand years from now a completely new entity may appear and be the nation that fulfils this passage, their leader might even be literally be called Gog. The reality is people have been predicting the end since almost back to when revelation was written, they were wrong then and are just as likely to be wrong now. Do I think we are heading for a showdown? That is an easy bet, almost as easy as betting that someone winner while I wrote this post. That doesn't make it biblical or astounding.

You are comparing apples to oranges.....our fathers historically projected the end prematurely, because they did not see the confluence of prophecies occurring. We see the prophecies all occurring now at the same time ...that is per scriptures and is a big difference.
If man interprets the Bible wrongly...that does not make scriptures in error.

No you are doing exactly the same thing as we did 25 years ago and we also had the audacity to say the same. It has always been the same. Some people get stuck in it and others, like me, move on because Jesus himself pointed out "But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father (Mark 13:32)."

I think Nato has become the axis of evil ... they are deliberately poking the bear. Russia is being hemmed in on all sides, and so is China in the pacific.
... nothing the Ukranians would love better than start a war.

America would conduct a proxy war setting Europeans at war with Russia.

Russia is going to look extremely weak if Ukraine and Kazakhstan both fall and pull away...

Which will cause further issues in Georgia and Chechnya. Which is where the former Soviet Union staged nuclear missiles.

Russia is already a difficult place to have trade. We don't do a lot already because of the chess match and all the corruption. Too many people want graft to conduct business. Look at the intercontinental data/phone lines running around in the ocean. It shows quite clearly who is an active trading partner and who is not.

In truth, a conglomerate of former Soviet Union countries could actually become a powerhouse of trade and commerce including energy and minerals and good, qualified labor.
But they are so consumed with corruption and graft the whole world has shunned them. Because they actually prefer the corruption to food, clothes, and telecommunication.

Which is baffling to me.

Honesty and integrity raises all ships.
Instead we have an oligarchy of corruption all fighting to be a king over various trash heaps instead of accepting the title of a duke over a nice house and lands...

You would think that the smell would offend them at some point.

This is my opinion on it as well. Russia is surrounded on all sides, I am shocked they have been this patient and long-suffering with the NATO bullies.

NATO defends "Western values" which are evil values more often than not with sodomy being the main "human right" concern. "Democracy" being another degenerating force

That "North" is a reference to the crossroads of Meggidio.
Israel is part of the Fertile Crescent. On the middle left hand side of the Horseshoe. Where there is a crossroads that either leads to Egypt and Cush or to the West and Turkey, Greece, and Europe. This has always been part of the Spice Trade route that has been fought over for thousands of years. Spices from India have been traded for thousands of years. So has groceries from Europe and Egypt.

And whoever controls the crossroads is basically controlling the trade and taxing it.

So the reference is from this perspective...that Israel will be swallowed up like everyone else. Today we still trade heavily with India for medicines made from raw ingredients stemming from these spices. Also lots of commodities.
Half of the vaccines for coronavirus are manufactured in India...for a reason.

The Bible says those in Christ will look up and be aware of the end times. That's where we are.

And there is thought that should there be a pre tribulation rapture, it will be for those who are watching and waiting as He commands.
He was also clear that he does not want us to be ignorant.
I also find it interesting in the verse that "no one knows the day or hour", it goes not say month or year.

It isn't russia that is preparing for war it is Israel and all her surrounding enemies. Anything that has to do with bible prophecy has always revolved around Israel and Iran wants nothing more than to wipe Israel off the face of the map and is in league with many of the surrounding enemies that is against Israel and Israel is having it's fingers on the button ready to strike Iran war is coming bible prophecy will be fulfilled and it is happening right before our eyes

I assume you are using the lamp parable about waiting for the bridegroom...if so this is not about trying to predict the end times. This is about being always ready. The only 'sign' they had was the call that the bridegroom was coming, which is echoed in "trumpet will sound (1 Cor 15:52)." The sense of always being ready but it will still come as a "thief in the night".

That is a misreading of the situation. Which country has been constantly trying to dominate all the other countries of the former Soviet Union for decades? Which country has impoverished its citizens just so it can bully everyone else through military and asymmetrical warfare? NATO is not "the axis of evil" but a dithering organization which has failed to do its primary job -- protect Europe from the Russian Bear. And now it is all bluster.

Russia and China are collaborating to achieve two objectives;
1 Russia wants Ukrane...the bread basket of eastern Europe.
2 China wants south china sea...a choke hold on the worlds largest sea food section....and eventually surrounding land for their crowded population.
3 They both want Israel/ Iran conflict as a distraction...knowing coming off of Afghanistan U S will have no appetite for multiple site wars. The needs would take our attention away from Israel/Iran conflict and that's the world objective....which ends it all.

They are setting up for a one two punch ......of which Biden is no match.

The Federation from the `far north` says - `I will go up against a land of unwalled villages.......against a people gathered from the nations....` (Ez. 38: 11 & 12)

And since God tells us that it is the land of Israel that He will bring this Federation down to, then we know the time slot - ` a people gathered from the nations.` And that is NOW!
