Did "the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ," in 2 Thessalonians 2, already happen if Matthew 16:28 says "There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom."?
You don't get to say JESUS was talking about His Transfiguration which was like a week later. He wouldn't have said "death" when talking about a couple of days.

I'd agree that the transfiguration doesn't make much sense- I don't think anyone took up their cross before Jesus did; but I think the popular opinion is that he is talking about the vision of the Revelation.
I don't know why you're all worked up over pre-mil eschatology, though. Amils still believe in a second coming and judgement, right? So either way he is coming. If he wants to set up an earthly kingdom for 1000 yrs, or go right into judgement- it really makes no difference to me.

John saw that vision ...that wasn't "some" ....that was one guy.
i am passionate about this because it might be a SALVATION issue. THE KINGDOM IS NOW. You are not bowing to our King if you are saying He will be one later.
SALVATION = You must enter The Kingdom of GOD ...that means become a Child of GOD ...that means becoming Reborn and upholding The Holy Image with Oil (HOLY SPIRIT ...GOD'S Presence). We get Represented on The Cross when we have His Son's Image. The Cross is The Way into The Kingdom.
It's difficult to remain on The Narrow Kingdom Path because you have to uphold The Truth/Light with GOD'S Spirit Guiding you ...with temptation all around you.

Oh here we go again, sigh. Another one. Don't tell me you never sin and you are perfect. If the men that walked with Christ and talked with Him still sinned and failed brother YOU AIN'T PERFECT!! We don't live a sinful lifestyle, but we still fail, we repent and try again. Anyone who says they never sin is a liar.

Do you take 1 John 1:8 out of context to excuse your physical sins? "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."
It’s saying you can’t avoid SALVATION by thinking your are good enough without being Reborn.
You have excuses to continue physically sinning.
What do you think “be Holy for I am Holy” means?

1 John 1:6-8 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
JESUS said to go and sin no more. To actually Believe in JESUS is to change your perception of reality to form to GOD'S Image. Do you want GOD to Know you at Judgment or not? You have to actively hate sin if you expect to be considered REBORN. Give up the animal side. Develop self control through Faith. Accept GOD'S Love that forms you to His inseparable Image. Make that Love Two-Way.

it takes more than saying a sinners prayer to uphold the Reborn Holy Image. You can’t walk in The Spirit unless you get rid of physical sins in your life. to have your own plan for life (without GOD) is to use the tree of knowledge.
You made your own definition of sin to pretend that you are not doing it.
