Any gamers here that want to share there latest gaming experiences? I just recently got a Japanese ps2 and im using Google Translate to Translate the Japanese only games. This opens up a whole new gaming world for me and im soo excited 🤗 Other than that I play the switch most often in regards of the current systems.

After Skyward Sword, I think I stopped playing games. Perhaps I'll get back into it. Do they still make Zelda games?

Skyward Sword is my favorite game of all time 🥰 indeed. They remade Links Awakening and if you havent tried Breath of The Wild its pretty good. Its just very different than other Zelda games. If you play make sure you get a bunch of Hearts, food, armor upgrades and good weapons before you tackle the divine beasts. If you dont the game is very difficult.

I've never heard of those 2 games! My favorite was Twilight Princess. Followed by Ocarina Of Time. Perhaps I will get back into playing again!

Twilight Princess is my second favorite. Links Awakening is a remake of a gameboy game. My issues with breath of wild is theres a "pray" button you push when getting more hearts or stanima. Not fond of that. There are only four divine beasts which are temples on this game and there fairly small. But the game world is the biggest game I have ever played and you can spend hours and hours simply exploring. Botw is only on the switch thought.

I like exploring! I played numerous Zelda games and I liked every one of them. It would give me something to do while my guitar's in the shop.

Definitely :) Zelda is my favorite series so I have beaten almost all of them. There are also Hyrule Warriors definitive edition for the switch which is basically Dynasty Warriors with zelda characters plot and themes. Ive spent days on it there is sooo much content and weapons to unlock lol.

Eh, I waited for a "while" to play a game but I've had that N64 just sitting there and I really wanted to some down time I guess...

Tried Banjo Kazooie but I thought the egg launching was pretty gross and I died several times trying to defeat what I thought was a boss monkey on the first lvl and restarted the lvl 3 times. Also didn't like the witchy element, a bit ovedone. A green witch and also a voodoo thing? Too bad really because I liked DK64 a lot and it's also by rare.

but I'll sell/trade it for Dk64 probably.

Then I tried Superman for the 64...quite hard to start so I gave up on that too ;)

Pokemon Snap I knew would be fun even though I haven't played it. It was lol. How you unlock the next level for a few of them was a bit cringey (particularly the canyon one). I got stuck and just searched it but I was trying to scroll so I didn't see it because I didn't "really" want a spoiler..........I figured what it was but the margin of error is pretty low surprisingly.

Ended up getting 55 but apparently there are 62. No wherewithal to go find the extra 7 but there were a few that were quite amusing. Would've been particularly hard if I were to have had the game at 6 or 7 years old :p

Sort of got sucked into something after that but I'll attempt to find a substitute. During winter is hard, plus I'm sort of sick but I guess that's only so "valid".

Oooh Banjo Kazooie is great but Banjo Tooie the sequel is way better. Mumbo Jumbo is more of a Shaman than voodoo lol Gruntilda is irritating but shes a funny Villain. Superman 64 is one of the worst games of all time for a reason lol. There is a level select code where you can skip all the dumb ring levels but the game is still awful on the non ring levels. I love pokemon snap. I 100% it I believe. I have the new one but im not to far. I started Fatal Frame 5 the other day and it is horrifying 😳. Fun though.

I really enjoyed Kazooie and Tooie, though I had to get used to them so I stopped getting nauseous! Rayman was another good one!

Might have to check out Rayman, I sort of forgot about it. I played Rayman legends for the 360 (I think that was it) and I recalled it being pretty fun in college for a few sessions with a friend but playback 2 or so years ago I just didn't like certain elements once again. Checked out a vid for the 64 one but I can't tell if the graphics aged well or not.

Some games I once enjoyed haven't aged well but most have.

I enjoyed Rayman. I'm not quite sure if there was 1 or 2 Rayman games. It was fun! He was kind of a bouncy character.

The original Rayman game was for the PC and the Ps1 its different than Rayman 2 for the N64 and also different than legends. The first game and legends are 2d platformers but 2 is a 3d platformer like Banjo Kazooie and DK 64 (which I also love as I bought it finally about 4 months ago) All the Rayman games I have played are good.

I like 2D games occasionally so that I may look into since I have a PS1, especially since that means the graphics will be well within system capabilities to not irritate me. PS1 just gets SOOO annoying with how expensive disks are and how easy they get scratched/don't read. I'm thinking about trying a solder myself on one of the fat models so I can use backup disks to protect originals but the last one I "bought" on ebay (granted for only 14.99) didn't ever ship. Normally they are at least 2-3x that so I took a risk but usually it works out. I'm hesitant because I haven't ever done it before and messing up a system and then paying someone to do it...means I probably won't ever get it done lol.

Stupid annoying to have what is probably the housing or something internal scratching the disk or even the cases. I've rebought a few disks several times over the years. Granted I sold them when they had minor scratching and the tiniest of skips but so long as it boots, minus maybe the resurfacing fee...you'll still get what good condition would be. Sometimes it's even the same.

The whole buying/reselling concept has gotten a bit old to me though clearly.

/end rant.

Maybe a PC version would fix that problem lol. The only other game I play on a PC offline is called "Loderunner: the mad monk's revenge" or some such. It's pretty diverting every so often. Essentially they are all mazes/puzzles because you have to use strategy and it does get pretty difficult. I had to guide a few of them...alas.

Most games I avoid guides as much as is reasonable, but when you've done it 20x...you know...

If you like those, try starcom nexus. I beat it easily on the hardest difficulty, but the exploration and piecing the story together is better than the combat anyway.
