If this is what Satan really sounded like Eve would've probably run!
(Start at 0:44)

I like listening to the different dramatized Satans. They usually try to make him sound weird and creepy; but if he wanted to deceive, he probably would've sounded very pleasant.

Unless you want your children sleeping in your bed with you, I wouldn't let them listen to this. Good . . . grief. That's whacked.

Satan's voice is like the sound of water in a sewer,Or the sound of a snake breathing in through its mouth.

He (Satan) disguise himself as a servant of the Light, so no... he was cunning and pleasant to be around.

I think they just wanted him to sound like a cartoon villain, so that you know it is the bad guy talking. Without having watched Saturday morning cartoons, Eve wouldn't know he's the bad guy. The voice really isn't that scary- I find the low pitch quite pleasant, but the exaggerated pronunciations are a little ridiculous. God's voice is the scary one- they got him sounding like some kind of Mircrosoft-steve AI.

amen the greatest deception about Satan is that he looks and sounds like a bad guy. He’s actually a wolf in sheep’s clothing , a hungry monster dressed as a friend , speaking softly offering comfort appearing as the answer appealing to the flesh of vanity and pride beautiful to the world but it’s all a subtle deception

like a fish seeing an attractive lure that appears to be a healthy meal but then the fish bites and is hooked and dragged away before he realizes it was a lure and snare

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭11:13-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

of Satan was scary up front he would t be successful at snaring people but he’s very successful because everything about him seems appealing but when you hear what he’s saying it’s contrary to what God said in Christ and that leads man astray from life

Satan was the head worship leader in heaven and was the most beautiful creation of God. I'm sure He sounded lovely!

One thing I do like about this particular audio bible is God sounds more like a regular man than a deep, booming, other-worldly voice.

That is Sid Roth's Voice.

I am betting Satan sounded like a sincere person when he tempted Christ. Don't think Christ would have put up with his voice overs.

He may not sound the same to everyone. He might sound like whatever it takes to convince someone.

Or, we could turn to Christ and receive His Spiritual Circumcision and thus the Devil would be defeated within a person's life.

[Col 2:11, 15 NLT] "When you came to Christ, you were "circumcised," but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision--the cutting away of your sinful nature." ... "In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross."

Perhaps it was the devil who sang, "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch!"

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."—1 Peter 5:8
Yep. 1 Pet 5:8 is a great verse. How do we reconcile Colossians 2:9-15 and 1 Pet 5:8?

1 Peter 5:10 NLT - "In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation."

If we're "placed onto a firm foundation" does this mean that we're safe? Does it mean that we're on a path with Rich Soil, plenty of Water, and Holy Nutrient so that we don't wither and die?

1 John 4:1 NIV - "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."

Do you think that Peter was testing those that he was writing to? Or, do you think that [HE BELIEVED] that all whom he wrote to were in fact, "Saved?"

Do you think that, perhaps, Peter was qualifying the "leaders" of the establishment prior to verse 8? Certainly, he insinuates good leadership from bad leadership, evident by the fact that the good leaders will receive a "crown."

1 Peter 5:3-4 NLT - "Don't lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your own good example. 4 And when the Great Shepherd appears, you will receive a crown of never-ending glory and honor."

Is it possible that those who are susceptible to the Devil are those who haven't received the Circumcision of Christ?

If the Devil isn't defeated in a Saved person's life, I don't know why Christ would say the following:

Luke 10:17-20 NLT - "When the seventy-two disciples returned, they joyfully reported to him, "Lord, even the demons obey us when we use your name!" 18 "Yes," he told them, "I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning! 19 Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you. 20 But don't rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven."

Being "Registered in Heaven" is the result and Holy Effect of the Circumcision of Christ. And more, this is the Holy Purpose of Christ.

The voice actor/narrator that is doing satan- his voice is low. It would almost be pleasant to listen to if he wasn't trying to sound possessed.
Ahhh . . . the way you initially worded "it" your words made it seem like you comforted by the voice of Satan. I would run from anyone who felt that way. ;)

Now you need to sit down and ask yourself "Why?" In fact this focus may not be such a good idea at all. Satan needs to be either (1) rebuked or (2) told to get lost -- take a hike. That's what Jesus did with this deceiver.

He (Satan) disguise himself as a servant of the Light, so no... he was cunning and pleasant to be around.
He's the "Prince of the Power of the Air." Think about all the alluring music one hears on the radio, which is coming to you over the "airwaves." If it weren't beautiful and seductive, its message wouldn't be tempting.

There's a part of the Bible where Satan is eventually revealed to the nations. Everyone is going to look at him and be like, "THIS guy had us all fooled?" Kind of like how you hear these voice actors for animated films and then see pics of them and sometimes it's like, "Woah, THAT person has THAT voice?!"

Don't get me wrong, Satan is very powerful. But illusion of beauty is one of his weapons.
