Where did you find that? I don't remember posting it unless it was around 2015 or so, and it is not linked to my profile. How deep did you run?
you said it in a blog post. that's where I 'found' it
How do miracles work? Other than "Because God told them to," why did the prophets of the Bible do the things they did? How many Angels are there, and what exactly do they do?
uh...about the magic tho.......???
There is Spiritual Law is not exactly The Laws of Moses.
- Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. (Psalms 1:1-4)
my delight is in salvation and the One who saved me...not of myself...the law never saved anyone and still condemns those without Christ today
I have been living day to day.
like the rest of us no doubt...can't live in the past and the future is not yet here
Did you know what I was going to do today?
no. should I have? I only came across your posts today
I didn't either other than server God.
You quoted a testimony, I believe I originally gave on Tumblr possibly. I have tended to free write things. A more refined version may be:
nope. it was right here on CC. posted the link up top. I don't do all the social media stuff.
Post: Bible Study:
"The Holy Grail" on /r/Bible.
what holy grail? there is no grail in scripture...although Monty Python attempted some humor with it
As for numbers, the Temple of Jerusalem was destroyed twice on the 9th Jewish month of Av. There may be profound things to numbers and dates. Trying to calculate something may be like trying to calculate pi.
so how far have you got with this pastime?
God is God you cannot control. Pagans made gods to try and control something.
do you ever feel controlled? God does not control people. nor lead them on pointless errands or have them run aground
The Lord is my shepherd, and I became aware of a lot of hard to handle things. The Truth hurts. Knowledge brings sorrow. Ignorance is bliss?
actually, scripture says the truth sets us free.
Jesus the Light of the World
(1 John 1:5–10)
12Once again, Jesus spoke to the people and said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”
13So the Pharisees said to Him, “You are testifying about Yourself; Your testimony is not valid.”
14Jesus replied, “Even if I testify about Myself, My testimony is valid, because I know where I came from and where I am going. But you do not know where I came from or where I am going. 15You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. 16But even if I do judge, My judgment is true, because I am not alone; I am with the Father who sent Me.e 17Even in your own Law it is written that the testimony of two men is valid.f 18I am One who testifies about Myself, and the Father, who sent Me, also testifies about Me.”
19“Where is Your Father?” they asked Him.
“You do not know Me or My Father,” Jesus answered. “If you knew Me, you would know My Father as well.”
20He spoke these words while teaching in the temple courts, near the treasury. Yet no one seized Him, because His hour had not yet come.
21Again He said to them, “I am going away, and you will look for Me, but you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.”
22So the Jews began to ask, “Will He kill Himself, since He says, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come’?”
23Then He told them, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. 24That is why I told you that you would die in your sins. For unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”
25“Who are You?” they asked.
“Just what I have been telling you from the beginning,” Jesus replied. 26“I have much to say about you and much to judge. But the One who sent Me is truthful, and what I have heard from Him, I tell the world.”
27They did not understand that He was telling them about the Father. 28So Jesus said, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing on My own, but speak exactly what the Father has taught Me. 29He who sent Me is with Me. He has not left Me alone, because I always do what pleases Him.”
The Truth Will Set You Free
(2 John 1:4–6)
30As Jesus spoke these things, many believed in Him. 31So He said to the Jews who had believed Him,
“If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. 32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 8
Knowledge brings sorrow
no. knowledge is a good thing. here are some biblical examples
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7
For wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; Proverbs 2:10
Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid. Proverbs 12:1
An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. Proverbs 18:15
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. James 1:5
For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, I Corinthians 12:8
And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, Colossians 1:9
