I think Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida, and Texas would make great corners of a new republic.
There will be no new nation when the usa collapses. Our dollars support the entire world, when we go down the world goes with us. That is what opens the door to the one-world ruling antichrist. The only secession you have look forward to is the rapturous one that separates us not from this country, but from this current world. And people are NOT waking up and resisting government, they are resisting liberal government. Then they dream for a conservative government solution, rather than really turning to God.
People who plot for a new revolution and succession - just where the hell - pun intended - do you think you're going to succeed to? Once you take down the current government, that's it game over. There is no new usa. There's judgement, there's Return, there's wrath, and only after that will you see the Great Reset.

Secession means seceding from the US government and its alleged authority. It does not entail some sort of geographical relocation. We’re not talking about picking up the dirt beneath our feet and moving it to another place on planet earth. We just don’t believe the US government has any legitimate authority over our lives. And it doesn’t.
You're not getting it. When the us government falls, there won't be a new government taking it's place. There will be a world leader ushering in tribulation judgment. So stop thinking you're going to birth a new nation. The only thing you're going to birth is the antichrist.

Oh but the mountains hate us too as I recall a plane crashed into mt erebus and all passengers on that plane died. As a consequence no scenic flights ever went back to Antarctica.

It's coming one way or another, regardless of whether secession happens. Are you an open theist? Because if not, you will understand that whatever happens to this country is irrelevant as far as the events you described.

And you're still not getting it. When this country's government falls, so will the rest of the free world. That's when the antichrist will step in. So I don't see how you can think our country failing will be irrelevant.

Open theism means God changes His mind and redirects future events based on the actions of man. Since you believe, apparently, that man controls the origin of the Antichrist, I’d say you’re an open theist. Most of us understand that Antichrist will rise regardless of what man does. So secession has no effect either way. It’s coming.
While there are examples of God changing his mind because of the actions of man, they are the rare exception, not the rule. And that's not at all what I'm talking about here.
What I'm talking about is the toppling of dominoes. The antichrist isn't going to just wake up one morning, decide he wants to take power, and have the world's leaders give it to him. For him to take power, there has to be a power vacuum, which is brought about by the collapse of the worlds governments, which is initiated by the collapse of the US government. None of this happens all on it's own, it's one thing leading to another leading to another leading to another.
You need to see this not as independent events, but as a chain of events. The antichrist doesn't just appear out of thin air. There is a long chain of events that lead up to him, a big link being the fall of the usa.
It will happen. The question is, do you really want to be a part of making it happen?
