US Russian Hoax

I apologize if this isn't particularly relevant to biblical discussions. It is, however, relevant to my own participation in them. I've been completely immersed in the current unraveling of the Russian Hoax scandal in the US. Before and during the Trump presidency there was an active conspiracy, by the Democrat Party, and Hillary Clinton in particular, to skew the voters' attitude towards Trump as a traitor to US concerns, as a seedy "friend" of Putin and Russia.

This is now coming to light under a special prosecutor appointed just before Trump left office. Durham has uncovered a plot to spy on Trump--something Trump had identified earlier but was laughed at in the media. Trump was right--he was in fact spied on in a conspiracy to taint him and destroy his ability to be reelected. Our media has been busy castigating anybody who forwards this "conspiracy theory" as propagandistic and misinformation. In case you're interested, here are a few of my favorite people who appear on Fox TV, and another who someone on a forum gave me.

I'm really beside myself with the corruption both in the US and in Canada. Right now Canada has turned into a tyranny, just because the people don't want to be mandated things unreasonably by the govt. What kind of Democracy imposes its will on the people like this in areas that have nothing to do with national security?

The corruption here in the US is so deep that I don't see how it can be undone except make the ball of yarn disappear.

Picking a fight with the Eastern bloc, directly, however, is just stupid. We're not going to win this fight.

IF something happens before the Olympics are over, I bet China joins in and keeps all the Western athletes as hostages. The Olympic venue is only a couple miles away from some Chinese torture camps. A quick and easy march over there.

Biden has no chance of dealing with the East if Ukraine heats up and China goes after Hong Kong or Taiwan at the same time.

It is embarrassing to listen to Joe Biden anymore--he is so awkward and has so much trouble speaking. It was unfit to run for President, and in fact, hardly ran, hiding in his basement, and addressing maybe 10 or 20 people in his campaign stops.

It shows the power of corrupt people who band together, joining media to wealth to a political party. And it's all because we have tolerated paganism entering into our public education and entertainment. When I say "we," I refer to Mr. and Mrs. America--not necessarily Christian Americans.

The hand of Providence is definitely at work. China's economy is tanking hard and COVID has proven to be a two-edged sword for them. So they aren't able to really capitulate on the general American chaos because they have their own serious problems to deal with at home.

More and more is coming out... about the elites who rule us, about the elections, about COVID, about the Satanic NWO, etc. I'm sure people are waking up spiritually because of this, but many more are at least seeing, "Woah, we're in bad shape!" and starting to do something about it.

I do think we are in the USA's last days, but it's my hope that a new republic will split off before Babylon is taken down hard.

It all boils down to a serious LACK OF OPPOSITION in both the United States and Canada.

The RINOs are Republicans In Name Only and are worse that the evil Democrats, since they pretend to be Republicans while supporting the Democrats at every opportunity. They have violated every Republican principle, and hated Trump instead of supporting him 100%.

In Canada, the so-called Conservatives deliberately made sure that they would never expose and oppose petty tyrant Justin Trudeau over his two terms -- even though he has been treasonous. Now that the will of the people has been clearly expressed, none of the politicians have demanded his resignation, and neither has the Governor General. Which means that Trudeau thinks that he can do whatever he pleases and no one will stop him.

Furthermore, Trump was his own worst enemy from day one. He had every reason to fire absolutely everyone in the DOJ, FBI, DHS, DOD, and then appoint people with integrity from outside the Swamp. Instead he surrounded himself with the Swamp dwellers, and Durham is now coming out with evidence which should have come out in 2017. This is FIVE YEARS too late! So Hillary will never be arrested and locked up because Trump failed to do what he promised.

Yea, all good points. I live in WA State, and we have a blowhard governor Inslee, who also likes to slap mandates in an undemocratic fashion. Trouble for him, though--our State Congress has decided to legislatively limit his "emergency powers." And now he is considering lifting the mask mandate. Not surprised, though--Democrats are getting nervous nation-wide. They're becoming more and more unpopular, with Biden at the helm and all of these mandates controlling the lives of the people.

I agree to some degree. The trouble is, American politicians see their jobs as career jobs, when they were originally meant to be a temporary service that is interested in the nation's affairs, as opposed to one's own affairs. I don't think anybody cares if a career is made out of politics as long as self-interest is not the determining factor.

So, many political positions are just window dressing to cover up establishment politics. No matter what position is taken, it is a hybrid of different view sold to keep elitists in power. No matter how radical a position it is, the settled agreement normally is diluted enough to draw sufficient support to win the next election.

Establishment Republicans, or RINOs need to be voted out of office, if radical Democrats are to be defeated. They are no longer playing by typical establishment rules, but band together using an extreme agenda to isolate themselves and put themselves in a position of unending majority rule.

Once they obtain that, their idealism will come down to reality, and I don't think they will be able to support their "communist" ideals--not anymore than Communists in Russia and in China can maintain their "promises" without force. So when a radical Democrat majority obtains power, freedom to correct this will be lost. Any possibility of compromise will be lost.

Why do you expect anything different? Too many Christians have become become complacent and insular. We are supposed to be salt and light. Before judging the world, which is not our job, we need to ensure that we are being the people that God meant us to be.
