Everybody (well, almost all the ppl who I know) say "I'm waiting God sends me the perfect one (the correct one, or just one, that depends of the person ). But I like I heard once, God doesn't send GF/BF to anybody (Adam is an exception, obviously).

We need to find someone, and check if God approve. Jacob worked 14 years just because he was in love with Rachel. He didn't pray, God didn't send her in a cloud. HE WORKED 14 YEARS. Abraham sent a slave to get a wive for Isaac. Etc.

We ca ask for help to God. But I think God doesn't send BF/GF by FedEx. So, be brave, and go for it (or do you want to be a monk/cloistress?). Shy ppl, BE BRAVE; worried AND insecure ppl, BE CONFIDENT, just go! We need to deal with the rejection, and after that, learn how to deal with it, EXPERIENCE.

If you need somebody who support you and give you some advice, ask for it, but in the middle of the action, not in theory. We need to get experience, cuz we don't have (yup I dont have).

Think about it, maybe you have a lot of time praying, and you've never had even one date.

So BE BRAVE (and pray for a lil help ;))

I agree...most of the time God waits for us to act in faith before he will respond..that said, I still would rather be a monk. It would be so much easier to pick out what I'm going to wear.

Prayer and action go together theres no point praying for a spouse then sitting at home waiting for them to come and knock on your door.

They do say that if you keep something long enough it comes back in style eventually :) But this one is about as likely as the tater sack dress or the poodle skirt....or the bustle..

The bustle IS quite popular for wedding gowns, though... just sayin...

And we totally still wear poodle skirts at halloween or oldies flings...

They typically have them for the reception, to pick up the train. but the style has grown into different bustle fashions for the dress itself, too. Like.. a train that is attached to the back of the dress is sometimes called a bustle in itself.

I watch Say Yes to the Dress too much... eh. lol

I had some awesome detachable trains when I was a kid. You could hook em up in any order you wanted.
HAHAHAHA awesome. So this is what guys think about when we talk about types of clothes.

So what do you think of when we say.. crop jacket.. or A-line dress.. or bermuda shorts? lol

Sorry to OP for getting us sooo off-topic, but this is interesting :)

Let's see...crop jacket? Well, if it's a chilly morning, what else would you wear when you fly?

A-line dress?

I would imagine that just about anything is okay, just as long as you're wearing something. Most places are 'No Shirt, No shoes, No service,' so keep that in mind when you're in a line.

Bermuda shorts? Well, it's not really the topic I'm interested in, but I could easily sit through a couple of short videos about Bermuda. Here's one I could tolerate...

ROTFL loving it.

I asked my co-worker the same questions and he came up with the trains for "detachable train", a band for "crop jacket", an "easy A" for "A-line dress" and pants for "bermuda shorts".

hehheh
