It's so pathetic it sounds made up doesnt it. However it is indeed true.

I think the best was.

Him: i have something to tell you
Me: okay whats up
Him: im a pathological liar
Me: ..............................okay... great????
Hmm..so was he telling the truth or lying?

I'd need to date my boyfriend before he is my boyfriend. If not, how would I know if he can be my boyfriend? I need to get to know him.
The definition of "dating" it''s so relative. For me dating coould be an afternoon playing videogames or just talking while eating snacks in some park, or spending the day in a mall, or whatever. The point is that I need to do something with him so we know each other a little more and then we'll see if there's that "chemistry" and the same interests.=)

I dunno, but i definitely want a second date to find out.. .
If he is truly pathological about his lying, then you might have to marry him and live with him for years before you are truly sure...and if he's not pathological, then you can call him a liar for lying on your first date. Fun times will be had by all.

I like the group setting, cause you can see how someone acts around their friends...it can be more revealing than going out on a single date.

I would wait till I've gone on a couple of single dates before I go on a group date with his friends. Could be awkward if the first date is a group date. Or it could be alot of fun. I've never been on a group date, so I wouldn't know. :p

Well, ideally you'd already know some of the people...or invite your own people along. Like...everyone all goes bowling or paintballing or whatever. People put on such a front when they're dating that it often takes quite some time before you find out they're horrible. If you can see them act stupid (as everyone does) around their friends, you can more easily figure out if their brand of stupid goes along with yours.
Unless you're Nod. Then you apparently find out before you've gotten to see the menu.

That's a good point.

Nod is a lucky girl. She doesn't waste any time getting the dirt.

I think the same as you but I think BOTH are good to know, the solo and the group setting.Im not used to the word dating actually. In mexico "dating" is not like heree, you just say " I went out with a friend" and usually that friend is someone you already know from your friends. So probably if I" date" a guy is because I already know him in a group setting so theeeeeeeenn I'd need to know him in a "solo" setting and find out how he is in a more personal way.
