The news is filled with idiotic suggestions -- people calling for the assassination of Putin (war crime), others calling for a no fly zone -- in other words lets start WWIII with Russia, and on and on.

So I would like to go on the record now with what I think is the proper response to this.

1. Right now we see that we shouldn't have stopped providing weapons to Ukraine, Biden put a stop to this a year ago. Based on that I would say we need to fully arm Poland and Romania so they are able to defend their borders. NATO needs to fully ramp up their defense spending. Step 1 -- we contain this thing.

2. We take refugees from this war. We have had 2 million come across our southern border this year, we can certainly take some genuine refugees. Let's send ships and planes. Do our part in the humanitarian crisis.

3. Every dollar we spend to defend the Ukrainian border and to beef up security in Poland and Romania needs to be matched with money to finish our Southern wall. It is absurd to tell us that the Ukrainian border is sacred to America but our own border is not.

4. We are currently at war with Russia. We launched an economic warfare that has been devastating to 140 million Russians. So then Biden needs to have a frank and open discussion explaining why he did that, what vital national interest this is protecting. If Russia retaliates we need to know why we are being attacked because at this point Russia would appear justified in retaliating.

5. What is going on with these bioweapons labs? The US state department just confirmed at least half of Russia's story, China has also confirmed it. We need to know why we would put research facilities in the Ukraine? This isn't MIT, or Cambridge, or even a major German facility. What was the reason US military would put bioweapons research facilities in Ukraine instead of a NATO country or the US?

6. This war is showing to me that the links between Biden, Hunter and Ukraine are really significant and need to be investigated. I expect Senate hearings on this to get to the bottom of it.

7. Pfizer releasing 50,000 pages of data and the disappearance of Fauci is undermining the American trust in the US government. We need hearings on this, was this pandemic an act of war? This is now a critical question that must be answered immediately.

Don't trust the government, don't trust the government, don't trust
the government, but suddenly you are going to trust the government?

My thoughts exactly. Suddenly people support the USA when it comes to defending Ukraine but are always complaining about the corruption of the US government.

But look at who’s telling the populace how to respond. It’s the USA government, Fox News, CNN, and the usual suspects. Why should anyone care what they say?

Because they may actually send kids to this war or their actions may result in Russia attacking us and we have no choice.

This thread asks you to tell us what you recommend. Hindsight is 20/20. Tell us now what you advise otherwise we can just ignore all your complaints about what others did because to be fair you were clueless.

I recommend keeping your eyes on the Lord.

I see a lot of your complaints. You create thread after thread airing them.

Thank you for that reminder.

My reading today is from Isaiah 30:
10-11 They tell my prophets, “Shut up—we don’t want any more of your reports!” Or they say, “Don’t tell us the truth; tell us nice things; tell us lies. Forget all this gloom; we’ve heard more than enough about your ‘Holy One of Israel’ and all he says.”

12 This is the reply of the Holy One of Israel:

Because you despise what I tell you and trust instead in frauds and lies and won’t repent, 13 therefore calamity will come upon you suddenly, as upon a bulging wall that bursts and falls; in one moment it comes crashing down.

You compare speaking about God to airing complaints about politics and politicians?

I compare reading the word to keeping my eye on the Lord, that is what you suggested.
What you suggested is: people who do not share your political attitude and view are clueless, and have no right to be heard.

Hard to see America as righteous here or really anywhere nowadays. Besides, unrighteous, unnecessary, wars are sins. So Christians shouldn’t obey commands by the government to sin. There’s definitely a choice.

Nope, not what I said. I said those that tell us after the fact that the way we have gone is wrong without telling us beforehand what way to go are a complete waste of time.

Tell us now what we should do before Russia invades Poland and Romania and then Israel.

A few good points.

Point 4 is not a justification for Putin to retaliate when he is attacking a sovereign nation with reports of attacking civilians.

Point 5 has been confirmed in that bio research facilities are in Ukraine but pass that we the civilian population have nothing else to go on or know what research was being conducted. But even worst case scenario for Putin they are bio weapon labs researching to create a weapon versus protection. Then he still had no right to invade. What Ukraine allows is their sovereign choice. If evidence is revealed showing plans to attack Russia with a bio weapon then I would say they are justified. Of course, justified doesn't fit killing innocent people including children or attacking maternity wards or children hospitals.

Point 6 not sure what the correlation is between invasion and hunter biden but we waste money on theories to investigate in Congress all the time so might as well.

Point 7 we will never know because the time to gather evidence was at the beginning. Evidence has now surely been destroyed or covered up.

Anyways I like how things as of today is being handled. NATO has surrounded the European Ukraine border and we are helping Ukraine fight off the Russians which has miraculously been successful. Things can always be improved but so far we are not in WW3 or shooting nukes so we are on a good path.

Russian troops do not have the moral and thought they were there doing a military exercise. Russian propaganda had many believe that Nazis had taken over and to them it was an effort to defeat a modern Hitler but as soon as they crossed the border, many admitted to seeing no such thing. They thought the people would be happy as if liberated but it was the opposite.

Right here you said what you now deny.

You are calling many of the suggestions already out there "idiotic."

Do you know that etymologically, the word "idiot" means literally "private person"
(as opposed to one taking part in public affairs)? And yet supposedly these idiotic

suggestions come from people who involve themselves in public affairs

I have given my recommendation.

Why be vague about this I have said that public officials calling for the assassination of the President of Russia, a war crime, are idiotic. I am also saying those who are calling for a no fly zone imposed by the US in Ukraine, an act of war against a nuclear superpower, are being idiotic.

I was not aware that you did not know the definition of idiot, here it is from Merriam Webster

Definition of idiot

1: a foolish or stupid person

Definition of idiot

1: a foolish or stupid person
idiot (n.)
early 14c., "person so mentally deficient as to be incapable of ordinary reasoning;" also in Middle English "simple man, uneducated person, layman" (late 14c.), from Old French idiote "uneducated or ignorant person" (12c.), from Latin idiota "ordinary person, layman; outsider," in Late Latin "uneducated or ignorant person," from Greek idiotes "layman, person lacking professional skill" (opposed to writer, soldier, skilled workman), literally "private person" (as opposed to one taking part in public affairs), used patronizingly for "ignorant person," from idios "one's own" (see idiom).

In plural, the Greek word could mean "one's own countrymen." In old English law, one who has been without reasoning or understanding from birth, as distinguished from a lunatic, who became that way. Idiot box "television set" is from 1959; idiot light "dashboard warning signal" is attested from 1961. Idiot savant attested by 1870. source

Please educate yourself on the difference between definition and etymology. Thank you :)

The Ukraine is rich in Titanium and has 395,000,000 barrels of oil reserves. An Antichrist like Putin would love to steal it all. It's not his or the Ukraine's but God's. Just another false Idol.

I think we should stay out of it. Just greedy people like sea gulls swarming to devour what is not theirs.
