How do you know they lied versus quickly spreading a rumor? You have to remember social media is still intact for people in Ukraine. It takes time to confirm or prove false.

A nuclear reactor was hit. They have images of firefighters trying to put out the fire. It was contained.

Snake Island could of simply been believed due to loss of communication in which they later announced the soldiers were taken captive after being bombarded and ended up sinking the same ship that threatened snake island.

It isn't just Ukraine we have Americans and private organizations on the ground as well confirming the same narrative with videos and photos.

Even if we did fund them, if these labs don't enhance Russia's offensive capabilities or reveal any US misdeeds, why do we care? Ukraine's problem.

I try not to assume anything but look for known credible facts. Reading between the lines to me is speculation. US cares because obviously these labs study dangerous viruses in which the Russians could use to help produce a bio weapon or stage a bio weapon release to blame Ukraine or the US.

This is the fog of war. I think we need to realize that whatever the reason Russia attacked Ukraine they must have felt they were between a rock and a hard place because if this goes South Russia will almost certainly suffer great damage.

Yes we have many questions but one thing we need to realize, we don't need to have "good guys and bad guys". It is very likely that neither Ukraine nor Russia are "good guys" and therefore both will be justified at least partially for their part in the war. Too many are thinking that since Russia might be dealing with some very bad and evil people that this makes them "the good guys". If you say that you open yourself up to be mocked and ridiculed. Russia did what they did because they felt they had to. At the moment they were clearly the aggressors though we may soon discover they had very valid existential threats that they were dealing with.

For example today Jussie Smollett was sentenced. Many people judged too quickly that he was the victim of a hate crime only to later realize there was no evidence of that.
