Please build me a house and I MIGHT live there...as they say, build it and they will come.

I'll give you the specs. Must contain plenty of bookshelves.

They were told to be fruitful and increase in number before the fall, though, in Genesis 1:28 ~

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule
over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

There is no time-line given between their creation and the fall.
Yes. The Bible states what you've quoted. I was just noting that A & E didn't have children until after the fall.

Ummmm.... no.
I'd rather exercise the common sense God gave me...
If God taught Adam "everything male and female, and every seed unto its own", then provided Adam with what he needed to procreate (Eve), why would God forbid him to do so? That just doesn't make any sense. That's right up there with mid and post trib rapture, what's the point?

I recommend you just stick with the Bible... ;)
Thanks for the tip, champ. I was just noting a possibility for why A & E didn't produce children before the fall.

You said a little more than that, though...

I am not "coming after you." ;)
I'm glad I kept reading... You dealt with that way more gently than I would have lol...

Women... :giggle:

I'd love to meet a woman who can read a tape measure and handle a skillsaw

Someone here recently said it's simply because "Men are insatiable beasts"....
I happen to agree.
However, for the sake of amicable congeniality, perhaps some of my wiser and well spoken brothers will... ahem... ever so eloquently define the attraction ;)
Well,

I know this will likely come off as a stereotypical, and/or sexist comment (ladies you can stone me for it later  I'm sure some will )
but to answer your question JAPOV.........
could it possibly be because (some of us) we cook/bake?

After all, they say the way to a mans heart is through his stomach ;)

Yeah', but I can't just sit around and eat bran muffins all day...

Quick, what's 3/4 - 1/8? What's the difference between a rip blade and a finish blade?
I NEED SOME HELP! ;)

The one rips,
the other finishes.

I hear you. It's a built-in instinct and rather difficult to avoid and quite frankly, it's a burden if our desire is to be obedient and be like Christ. Just remember . . . all things that we do, say, and think, they are all done, said, and thought before the Lord. God sees and knows all things about us. For example, the Lord knew exactly where Saul was as he was traveling the Damascus road. We can never escape the presence of the Lord.
Really.

I doubt that they were physically intimate prior to the fall.
I'm going to guess that they were. It could explain Adam's eating the fruit she offered him despite the fact that he had just listened to her conversation with the serpent. He was p-whipped. Or, maybe to be more fair, he was now totally intimate with this woman which would make him more vulnerable to her. If I were going to try to get him to fall, I'd wait until they did the deed.
