The guy who makes Circle Toons seems to think so.

Personally I think it looks like just another Dark Souls 2.

I don't play games that often but I don't like shooting games, fantasy games with dragons, dungeons, wizards, etc., and sports games. I prefer the more simple/well known games like Monopoly or card games. I could get interested in military strategy games or games like Sid Meier's Civilization but I stay away as these games could be time-consuming. I know people who play games and have watched.

Yeah from what I'm watching it's open world which looks fun. There are mounts you can get too. One is like a hopping horse. It looks sweet.

I've played Strategy JRPGs before. I used be a big fan of the Disgaea games but a majority of them center around demons (definitely not biblical demons but its still a bit much for me) which is a shame as it's one of the most ridiculously in-depth strategy I have played. I believe the new ones centered around a Zombie so I might look into it. I haven't played a sims style game in a very long time. I have gotten back into horror games and I'm happy with playing Fatal Frame 5 rn. I may restart it when my friend and I go that convention soon as she has been wanting to play a horror game. As for monopoly I get to angry to play lol. I'm not a fan lol.

There was comedic webcomic based on Pokemon called "Super Effective" the guy who made the VG Cats web comics did them.

It's a bit disheartening to see all these softcore porn games realeased on the switch :/ . It's not like they can show anything past nudity without an AO rating there still definitely pushing the boundaries with some of this. Pretty much anything by Eastasiasoftware is probably going to have fanservice stuff. Best to keep those parental controls on and look at each games ratings carefully because some of these games look harmless on the surface until you read the discriptions and watch the gameplay videos.

Fer sure. I buy games on GOG a lot and they have lately been flooded with japanese games that are basically playable hentai - with a large percentage being love stories between two girls. Gee, wonder what the target audience is...:rolleyes:

Is it a mmo? Edit: I looked it up and think will pass. Game looks beautiful though
There is online play but not mmo level. It's a series called Drak souls (I believe the first game was called Demon Souls on PS3 and was rereleased recently on PS5) the games are infamous for there difficulty and the name is often used as a measure of difficulty. I've played little of three and didn't make it far. One of the things different for this is a open world map. It's a little less daunting because in some cases you can go around the danger instead of constantly throwing your self at danger repeatedly until you get better or lucky.

My old Windows 7 PC just stopped working for no reason today, it is having problems booting up. I hardly ever use it, so thinking about converting it to a Windows XP machine, so I can play my old video games. Personally, I think PC gaming peaked during the Windows XP time frame, modern games just don't seem to have the same story telling, or game play. Just my perspective.

I just finished Half Life 2 and was better the second time around. Very well thought out game.

Once I get my Windows XP machine working, it will be time for No One Lives Forever 2. One of my favorites!!

We still have good games with good stories. Prey, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Crosscode, I could name a good few.

The problem is that we have SO MANY new games these days, and most of them are blatant, soulless cash grabs. It's much easier to make a game now and many more are making games. The good ones get lost in the flood.

Really? I don't play many games but it seems most new games are so story based I get bored. 15 to 30 minute intros before you even start doing anything.
