Are you saying Copeland is carnal then? Biblically illiterate? We cannot judge his prayer life though. Lazy? Possibly?

I think the number one problem with Christians today is following seducing spirits and having the opinion they could never be fooled but everyone else is suspect.

I don't think you have really accepted the fact I do not agree with your interpretation while still thinking I should do what you say. Who is the one deceiving people? Copeland? You have kind of tried to turn aside from that and put guilt on others in my humble opinion.

Guess we will have to leave it there though.
I am saying I have not followed Copeland nor have I ever. :) In the 1980's I did see some of his messages. yet I am more conservative Pentacostel / Charismatic :)

Why would I donate to someone who said Jesus was born again in Hell?

I'm more concerned about my neighbor than some billionaire I'll never meet.
I know a guy who, about 15 years ago, was doing time for some serious drugs and weapons offenses. This was in southern Ontario, Canada.
While inside, a guard came to the inmates one day, saying that a Christian group was holding a meeting and that anyone could attend.
This guy decided to go...one doesn't have many opportunities to get out of their cell. Along with some other inmates, he sat through a presentation of the gospel and was given refreshments and snacks. A woman approached him and struck up a conversation. She prayed with him, gave him some books that she'd written, gave him a hug, and then the group left.
15 years later, he hasn't been back to jail and has forsaken his life of crime. He talks about Jesus and God almost daily.
This man is my son. The woman was Joyce Meyer. He read the stack of books she gave him, including, "Battlefield Of The Mind." He told me the other day that a book she gave him that really helped him was written by Kenneth Copeland. o_O
I really don't like the prosperity gospel. I don't like the WOF. I don't like cessationism. I love the Lord and I try to love others, but mainly I love the Lord. He is awesome!

I know some people are really down on Joyce Meyer but I find what she does is to encourage and her book, Battlefield of the Mind, is point on with regards to where the battle is.

She is a motivation speaker...at best...and does not represent the qualities of Christ's meanings.
Although she wishes to be considered as a preacher/minister....in violation of God's commandments.

Joyce has repented of the prosperity message. She met my son in jail...
I am not a fan of man-made religion. I prayed for years for my son...God sent her. I have a problem with anyone who has a problem with that. Remember, Yeshua said, "What you did to the least, you did it to me."
I see many things that I don't like in all of the church. His church. Why did an American have to come to Canada? I guess the Christians here were too busy playing church. God used a woman...imagine that!
I'm asking the Lord for a small house church that I can be a part of...and leave others to Him!

She is a very good motivational speaker. You are incorrect in your statement about how she represents Christ but then you appear to be coming from a prejudicial place. I know she has motivated and helped me. For that matter, she has helped thousands and shares the both the gospel and physical needs of many places in Africa and other nations.

I doubt you know what she wishes.

Everyone comes from the same place as we accept Christ and make Him Lord of our lives, she doesn't really speak to me, but there are those who grow from her ministry.
"Those who are not against us are for us."

Then you do not accept God's commandments of female participation in His service. ok...not....because we cannot select and choose from scriptures.

We're not commanded to confront false teachers personally; unless maybe they're a member of your own congregation. If someone sins against you personally, then yeah, confront them; if they don't listen take it to the church.

But even if it was our responsibility to confront false teachers like Copeland, it wouldn't happen. Guys like him are so insulated a regular peon like me couldn't get near him, electronically or otherwise.

The only thing guys like him understand is dollar signs.

Liberal...by definition...has no place in the study and application of God's word.
It is interesting...liberal means left....and....left means liberal.

God's word does not have multi different meanings.

WOW...a peon like me????...Then you need to Invite Christ into your life and stop being a......."peon".

Wrong and wrong.

The 1611 KJV Bible commands us to ...judge righteously.

What bible do you follow?

He's not the worst. Unfortunately there's a new breed who are far worse but people don't seem to have caught on to just how heretical and dangerous they are: namely, the New Apostolic Reformation.
