Recently I've been afraid to eat (seemingly most foods) with a fear of gagging or choking. I haven't experienced this before (that I'm aware of) and I know I need to eat. I've been praying but so far little had changed (it's toned down a bit). Please pray for me as I want to eat in peace again.

Philippians 4:6-7
I've been trying to pay to God about this, but so far it's just a little comforting. I still feel anxious when eating (like now after I just ate breakfast). I've never felt this way before (that I can remember), it's strange.

Due to trauma, every morning from between 10-12 years, the first minute or 2 that I was awake, I had a full-blown panic attack. I'm not saying this to belittle your suffering, but to help encourage you that there will be an end to your difficulty. I eventually learned to take it as it came. It finally resolved by itself some years ago.
I'm a born-again, Spirit-filled, tongue-talking believer, and life is really difficult for me, too.
I'd say that the difference between you and me is that, as of a few years ago, I finally became assured of my salvation. It took many difficult years before this happened with me.
Seek God, whatever that means to you, read your bible, and try to hang out with some other believers, if you can. Without knowing God, I couldn't do this life. It's just too hard. Hang in there, RaceBoy, and run the race set before you!
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us," - Hebrews 12:1 ESV

Update... My fear is still here, and I'm becoming unhappy 😕(not to bad but I don't feel great) about not being able to eat my favorite foods in peace. Not giving up on God and prayer but so far not much has changed.

Hello friend, I think something is bothering you, you probably know what it is. Tackle the problems causing stress in your life, in any case remember matt 6:34;

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Blessings and you are in my prayers,

JF
