Hi,

It was tradition in my family to watch religious movies during easter like the 10 commandments ect...
do you guys have a similar tradition,

What is your favorite movie? mine is Jesus of Nazareth by franco zeferilli.

not a movie, but i really enjoyed the t v miniseries about Jesus from several years ago.

Gospel of John :) You are welcome! :D

It was released the year prior to my baptism and I watched
it quite a few times in my early years as a Christian :) It is
word for word and very well done. My only complaint would
be the translation they chose, but it is a minor complaint.

"The Robe" and "Ben Hur" are, in my estimation, the two best movies that Hollywood has ever produced. I've seen them both several times, and I've bought them both on DVD more than once (and I still don't have them...lol).

My favorite Christian movie of all time is probably "God's Outlaw: The Story of William Tyndale". I'm guessing that I've seen that one about 10 times.

If you watch it, then you should gain a better appreciation for your Bible in that men had to literally sacrifice their lives in order to get it to us in our common language.

I was around 10 when I first saw it in 1959, being totally unchurched, it was my first exposure to the Gospel.
My atheistic dad couldn't stand it saying something about how bad an actor Charlton Heston was. Not sure about the 2016 version.

I saw the trailer for the remake, and it looked TERRIBLE!

Charlton Heston was a great actor.
