How does anybody know that Adam and Eve were not created as giants? Did they even see Adam and Eve?God created them perfect a little lower than angels.

(Genesis 4:16)
And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

This is telling us that Cain did not follow God and his descendants did not either.

(Genesis 4:26)
And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.

These verses tell us that Cain's descendants did not follow God but, Seth's descendants did. Two peoples. Then chapter 4 tells us Cain's descendants and chapter 5 tells us Seth's descendants, again two peoples.

Then chapter 6 again has two peoples who come together. To read the Bible in context means to read the whole story not part of it, it may require reading a few chapters to get the whole picture. There were no chapter divisions when they wrote the Bible.

1WHEN MEN began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them,

2The sons of God saw that the daughters of men were fair, and they took wives of all they desired and chose.






sons of God= fallen angels daughters of men





3Then the Lord said, My Spirit shall not forever dwell and strive with man, for he also is flesh; but his days shall yet be 120 years.
4There were giants on the earth in those days--and also afterward--when the sons of God lived with the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
5The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination and intention of all human thinking was only evil continually.
6And the Lord regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved at heart.
7So the Lord said, I will destroy, blot out, and wipe away mankind, whom I have created from the face of the ground--not only man, [but] the beasts and the creeping things and the birds of the air--for it grieves Me and makes Me regretful that I have made them.
 
Angels do not procreate. The number God created in the beginning is the same nunber they are now. They do not procreate nor do they die.

I agree that Angels do not die. Those "Sons of God" (fallen angels) who procreated with the "daughters of men" have not died but are chained in a pit (Tartarus) awaiting their final judgement.

Concerning the Marriage and Procreation of Angels, Matthew 22:30 says:
“At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.”

Using this verse to explain all that we do not know about angels is very bad hermeneutics. We cannot see angels, we do not understand angels, and the only thing we know accurately about angels is what the Bible communicates to us. To use this verse to describe angels beyond what it says is taking the implicit and making it the explicit. It is isogesis (reading a predetermined doctrine into scripture) and not exegesis (letting the scriptures speak for themselves and determine the doctrine.) This verse explicitly says there will be no marriage and no families in heaven. Marriage and families are institutions God has given mankind in this age for the well being of the human race. This verse says nothing about the ability to reproduce..or what the fallen angels might do or have the ability to do in a direct rebellion against God.

The following quotes are from historical references for the period:

Josephus (70-90 AD) wrote: “For which reason they removed their camp to Hebron; and when they had taken it, they slew all the inhabitants. There were til then left the race of giants, who had bodies so large, and countenances so entirely different from other men, that they were surprising to the sight, and terrible to the hearing. The bones of these men are still swhewn to this very day, unlike to any credible relations of other men.” (Antiquities ch. II vs. 3)

Justin Martyr (100-165 AD) wrote: “The angels transgressed this appointment and were captivated by love of women. And they begat children, who are those who are called demons.”

Iranaeus (130-202 AD) wrote: “In the days of Noah, He justly brought on the Deluge for the purpose of extinguishing that most infamous race of men then existent, who could not bring forth fruit to God. For the angels who sinned had commingled with them.”

Tertullian (155-230 AD) wrote: “They are the same angels who rushed from heaven on the daughters of men.”

I Enoch (recorded around 160 BC), which is quoted by Jude in Jude 14 and 15 says:
“And it came to pass when the sons of men had increased, that in those days there were born to them fair and beautiful daughters. And the angels, the sons of heaven, saw them and desired them. And they said to one another, ‘Come, let us choose for ourselves wives from the children of men, and let us beget for ourselves children.’ And they took wives for themselves, and everyone chose for himself one each. And they began to go into them and were promiscuous with them…And they became pregnant and bore large giants, and their height was three thousand cubits. These devoured all the toil of men, until men were unable to sustain them. And the giants turned against them in order to devour men. And they began to sin against birds, and against animals, and against reptiles and against fish, and they devoured one another’s flesh and drank the blood from it. Then the earth complained about the lawless ones.” (I Enoch 7:6-7)

If the flood was global, then goliath had to come from somewhere in Noah's family.

Because if the flood killed every single human on the earth except for Noah and his family, then giants would have had to come from one of Noahs decedents.

Which is what i dont understand. So we are supposed to believe, that just from Noah's family, came the egyptians, persians, africans, romans, asians, That seems a bit far fetched, because if there were none of those people on earth to procreate with, how did they come to be in existence?

I believe all of this fallen angels sleeping with humans, is a bunch of fairy tale mess.

surely you knew by the time of Nimrod and babal earth had populated a bit ....then being dispersed into their places with a language barrier that would keep them seperate mostly for a time.Perfectly explains nations, tribes etc.

The fairy tale is as old as dirt tho.

No surely i did not know actually, and that is not a very good explanation of anything.


Just because its old doesnt mean its true.
 
I just remembered this post watching the Noah movie. Makes you wonder. I know the Noah movie is fiction (the one with Russel C.) but I do wonder how giants (sorry I dont know how I mispelled in op) play a part before and after flood. If they are half angel half men then Noah's family cant have giant geans. According to that theory Noah was pure in his geneology from being half angel. If it has nothing to do with angels then it could be a gean that was rare in mankind until wiped out. Somehow giants are before and after flood. If it is fallen angel halfbreeds thenmaybe angels fell for human women more than once. Whatever theory you have about giants how do you explain pre flood and post flood giants?
 
we can make claims about Noah's heritage from the genealogy in the scripture, but we don't know anything about his son's wives, who were also saved in the ark.

not to be dogmatic about anything, but there's an open door for the bloodline of the Nephilim to have passed through into the postdiluvian..

Well we know from scripture that angels did fall more than once. There is the time before the flood when they fell to take human women as brides, and then the old testament mentions Lucifer ( satan ) when he fell ( cast from ) heaven. The scriptures say that when he fell he drew 1/3 of the angels with him.

i could agree with that too, that some angels again did the same wickedness and again giants were born -- we certainly know people became wicked again. the scripture just doesn't give a clear answer about where the giants came from post-flood, but it's clear that they existed, and there are plausible explanations (that the bloodline possibly survived through for example Ham's wife, or that other angels once again took wives from humans)
lots and lots of other cultures have folklore about giants too, who lived long ago but were since wiped out. we know for sure they existed, and lots of factors make it plausible that we don't have a ton of archaeological evidence publicly known. we don't know from scripture for sure how exactly they came about though.

Yes it is very vague, and one or both issues may be plausible. ( Falling angels taking brides again, or Ham and his wife blood line.

But as to answer another question to a post I saw before. It said the bible is not clear where all the other races came from.
It is clear, it happened at the tower of babel.

I might ask whether fossil evidence for giants has ever been found? We have tons of dinosaur fossils. Where are the remains of the giant humans?
 
i live in ohio, and some are now saying the serpent mounds, was done by giants. Has anyone else heard of this?

Context explains that these were NOT large people...rather, they were men in authority....i.e the rulers of the day...
