As far as I know, he didnt give them the knowledge of good and evil and had the fruit as a test to see if they were obedient to God. They didnt feel shame since they didnt have the knowledge of good and evil until they ate from it. And well God gave them clothes since they were ashamed after realizing so.
Now I dont have an answer to if the holy spirit instructs us to wear clothes because its a silly thing to question about, but im pretty sure any normal person would feel embarrased being naked around people. So wear clothes and dont be a weirdo.

This guy's trying to ensnare people into getting legalistic. I think he's some kind of cultist...perhaps a gnostic. They always are trying to push some "deeper" knowledge that others don't have. I've tried being kind, I've tried being blunt, I've tried to help him understand about what he seems so sure about. He won't listen. It's like there's a demon wrapped around his brain and won't let go! He needs to cry out to the Lord and let go of his "wisdom!" In my opinion.

Oh, brother! It looks like 2 turnips fell off of the truck. Should I assume that turnips are Satanic too? I didn't say, nor did I mean, that wearing clothes was legalistic. Do you know what Gnosticism is? He says that we're carrying around the knowledge of good and evil in our hearts and that we must stop doing that...or something like that. He can't do it himself...according to the word of God.

Satan is the one who, lying, said God forbids wisdom, knowledge and understanding:

Perhaps, it might be beyond the historical depictions of Adam and Eve and paintings and such but, perhaps they were never without a 'covering,' before or after, provided by the Lord. Why did He clothed them with the lambskin? What does that bring to your mind?
Who told you they were naked? Do you suppose they were naked because God asked, "who told you you were naked?" as though God was keeping their nakedness as a 'secret' from them? Have you ever considered that they weren't naked but clothed in glory that stirred Satan's jealousy so much that he schemed to strip them of it? And since no one can enter the kingdom without a (wedding) garment, or perhaps "putting on the incorruptible' may be another way of expressing that, it must've been needful they be stripped of that particular glory anyway, seeing that God allowed it, in order that the opportunity be made to put on the incorruptible by accepting that offered by the Lamb of God.
Luke 8:35 and Mark 5:16 give account of the lunatic, "clothed and in his right mind." Have you ever considered (voluntary) nakedness to be a clear sign of insanity?
