If they only understood the importance of Abraham, they would fare much better. Christians do not understand Spiritual Circumcision . . . only the Holy Remnant has been Enabled to understand these things, including the Holy Veil of Moses and what it represents (again, the Circumcision of Christ). Whew . . . there is so much work to be done with "christians."

Were you aware that today's brand of "christianity" is a direct reflection of the Sadducees, Pharisees, and teachers of the Law? Scary . . . very scary.
Yea got persecuted by nonelects pastors just like Jesus did.

I like this passage - thanks for posting. Sometimes, it's easy to think terrible problems - such as pride and being stiff-necked - aren't so bad, ugly or sinful, and that they can be cured by trying a little harder, or perhaps applying a little balm or the right ointment. Deuteronomy makes it quite clear that such problems are actually deep rooted and much more severe, and these heart afflictions as we are all born with require a removal procedure - supernatural circumcision - to cure.
Yes. I love the fact that God lets us know the state of our hearts and that He is the One Who works within us ... all we ever do is muck everything up.

Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

The Messianic movement is simply made up of men who discovered that the old testament was written by God and contained eternal truths.

That is what Paul believed, also, if you believe every word Paul spoke and don't misread his words as saying God destroyed all the truths in the old testament. Paul said that grace did not destroy law, it established it.

Paul said that grace did not destroy law, it established it.
In Titus 2, Paul indicated that grace teaches us to live godly in this world ...

Titus 2:

11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
