Your experience is my experience. After my water baptism I just kept getting worse, and worse, and worse. Yet the Bible clearly says that those who have received the mind of Christ, they will reflect the glory of God more and more and more. What then, shall we say about water baptism? I was a completely depraved human being until the Lord found and chose me in the middle of the Arizona desert oh, consuming Me by his All indwelling Holy Spirit.
I have to agree with you both. I was water baptized hoping for an experience to change my direction. Yes, I sincerely did repent. It just didn't really change me the way the Holy Spirit did (years later) when I heard in my very ears and heart "if you need me, I will help you".
My life has been blessed from that moment on. Within 3 months after hearing those words I lost my older brother, my job, and my driver's license. I still knew that everything was going to be fine and that God would not forsake me. I had, and have, no fear of what the future holds on this earth. Jesus paid the price for my sins. My life is his. God has never let me down.

That's because water baptism is just for being resurrected as numerous verses say. Resurrection is an entirely different thing than the salvation of the soul, which comes exclusively through faith in Christ. People never are perfect, they just reach a point where they are walking in God's grace and that isn't hard at all. To access God's grace just have faith in Christ and don't give up trying to not sin. When we give in to sin and obey it without trying anymore, living a lifestyle of sin, is when we fall from grace and begin receiving judgements.

Romans 5:1,2 KJV
1Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

1 John 3:4-10 KJV
4Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
True you are correct on all points here concerning it's relationships with salvation however i just find it very difficult to find it required for the resurrection when it is clealry symbolic and is nothing more than a testament of one giving their lives to Christ, I never saw any resurrection done with water of by anyone who was baptized aside from Jesus.
Again I mention the dead in Christ in the first resurrection it says the dead in Christ not the dead who were baptized in water but the dead in Christ and if water does not save then it does not make one in Christ therefore those raised in Christ were not done so because they were baptized in water but because they were born again in spirit not water. unless of course you have another explanation for the dead in Christ being raised? I mean you have to pay attention to the words being used here to understand the context and what is being spoken about even one word makes a huge difference in what is being said

Beautiful! How can the ceremony of Baptism save a person? It is a moment in time where the act of dying with Christ in the watery grave that reflects the Work of Christ . . . not the work of water. This is what we find in the example of Jonah. Just as Jonah was physically dead within the whale for three days, in a watery grave, he was later resurrected on the beaches of Ninevah just as was Christ raised from the earthly grave.

Matthew 12:40 NKJV - "For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."

Baptism in water represents dying only to be later revived again. Baptism represents our unity in Christ.

Romans 6:4 NLT - "For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives."

We know that water baptism is a symbol, for no one is dead when they are baptized.

He was a good man that didn't care much for his liver.
My favorite saying of his: "Life is short, but it's Wide!"

Christ was also baptized...I wonder why?...oh yes.....He followed all of God's commandments...as perfect.
There is no commandment under the Law that water baptism was a 'must' to be part of the Covenant of Abraham.
You also do not understand why the LORD said "let it be so for now to fulfill all righteousness."

John chapter 3:1-21 - the LORD clearly states that a person can only be born a second time, born-again, by the Spirit alone.

Water baptism in an outward symbolic ceremony of the flesh that saves no one.
We, who believe in Christ, follow the pattern set forth by our LORD, in faith, being baptized in water = 'one and done, at our initial turning to the LORD and never to be repeated or relied upon for Salvation.
Anyone who relies upon or feels confident that they were saved when they were water baptized is trusting in outward religion versus the inward circumcision of the heart and the inward cleasing of our spirits = Both done by the Holy Spirit and the WORD.

Just as the Apostle Peter wrote: 1 Peter 3:18-22
For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.
He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit, in whom He also went and preached to the spirits in prison who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built.
In the ark a few people, only eight souls, were saved through water.
And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of filth of the flesh,
but the pledge of a clear conscience toward Godthrough the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers subject to Him.

The Apostle Peter clearly states that the water is only 'outward - of the flesh' and it is the conscience/heart where the faith is found that saves us thru the Blood of Christ=His death AND His Resurrection to the Right Hand of the FATHER.

Time to move on People of God = to the Right Hand of the FATHER............in the HOLY SPIRIT who now seeks to Guide us.

This whole concept of the ceremony of water baptism that procures salvation is like saying if a couple doesn't go through the ceremony of marriage, they can't be married. The marital ceremony isn't what qualifies a person as married, but it is the legal ability to marry, requires competent parties, and there must be a written and signed contract by all parties to establish the union. But, the ceremony is not required for a marriage to be valid and enforceable.

What makes a union with Christ both valid and enforceable is Christ Himself. Nothing more, nothing less.

Not true.
Your credibility is compromised.

You should be concerned......scripture can be read by the participants here.
You are treating them as if they don't have access to God's word.

Go ahead and show scripture....."outward symbolic ceremony"....
we are waiting.

.....timed out...

Also, scientifically...water is no longer water when in the state of...Amnionic fluid. ( not water)....as all liquid emitting from the body is different ......fluids....not water.
The reason we have different meaning for the words...water...fluids.

Got another weird reason that the requirement for baptism is satisfied ?

Scientific facts:
"The amniotic fluid is the protective liquid contained by the amniotic sac of a gravid amniote. This fluid serves as a cushion for the growing fetus, but also serves to facilitate the exchange of nutrients, water, and biochemical products between mother and fetus. For humans, the amniotic fluid is commonly called water or waters."

Most of the human body is water, with an average of roughly 60%. The amount of water in the body changes slightly with age, sex, and hydration levels .

Pregnant women will have a higher percentage of water because of the increased need for nourishment for the child both during pregnancy and afterward.

...keep it straight..again...wrong....60% liquid...not water.

You have not the authority to change the Bible or dictionary to suit your narrative...which ...again...as we can see...makes no sense.

Your posts are hysterical. i fully agree with scripture since i am truly born-again by the eternal Spirit of God and have been washed clean by the precious blood of Christ = just as the Apostle Peter wrote: 1 Peter 1:17-21

And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Now i wonder why Peter never mentioned water baptism here...........!!!

P.S. - i have been completey immersed in the Name above all names - JESUS the Christ

How many times must God mention a commandment:

Baptism is Required

Peter 3: 21.... whereunto even baptism doth also now save us...

John 3:5 .......Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 2;38-....Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22;16... And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Galations 3:26...... For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

KJV Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

KJV Matthew 3:14... But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 15. Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now, for thus it becometh us to fulfil all rightesousness. Then He suffered Him.

KJV Matthew 28:19..... Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:.

Acts 8:12-18: But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized.

John 3; 22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

Quote from Billy Graham that is note worthy;
....Also, to clarify I did not say remission of sin takes place at repentance. Scripture makes it clear that it occurs upon obedience to water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus. Each is a step of faith, along with receiving the Holy Ghost, in the process of one's spiritual rebirth

.."Paul explains the doctrinal significance of what occurs when one is baptized. His explanation is found in his letter to those who had already been obedient to the command.

Paul tells the Roman Christians what actually occurred when they were/are baptized; they were baptized into His death. Being buried with Jesus into His death resulted in their sin being destroyed.

Even though Paul explains this concept, the NEW AGE RELIGION TEACHING is......... that water baptism is nothing other than a mere public display.......... And that is so far removed from the truth.

Keep in mind that Satan knows if he can continue to perpetuate that lie ...... he can keep people from entering the kingdom of God. Thus He has proven scripture which says ...in the end times there will be ...great delusions.....they are here.

Conclusion....teaching that baptism is not necessary is violation of Rev. 22;19.... And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (Also two other books of the Bible).

Make note of these...there are more if you want them.

There is only ONE BIRTH. That is from the water of a woman.
There is only ONE RE-BIRTH. That is in the Holy Spirit.

John 3:5 .......Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water (birth) and of the Spirit (Re-Birth), he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

See? No Birth NOR Re-Birth in water-baptism.

Being "Born" (or Re-Born) NEVER equates to water-baptism.
