England is the Lion, Russia is the Bear and the USA is the Eagle came from the World Wide Church of God and Herbert Armstrong.
I don`t see any of that! From your link I see that he only teaches that Britain is Israel. I have never said that!

Quote from Wiki - The book The United States and Britain in Prophecy was published in 1954. It became the most well-known and requested church publication, with over six million copies distributed. In this book, Armstrong makes the claim that the peoples of the United States, the British Commonwealth nations, and the nations of Northwestern Europe are descendants of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel. This belief, called British Israelism, formed the central basis of the theology of the Worldwide Church of God.

Mark 13:23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

Jesus has told us all things from beginning to end.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Period end of story.

2nd Peter 3;5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Before you start saying Noah's flood lets see what Gods word has to say.

Jeremiah 4

22For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

23I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

24I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

25I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

26I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.

27For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

28For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

This is not Noah's flood: The earth had form after the water reseeded it was not void “empty wasteland” There was a fig tree on the mountains and the heavens did have light. The mountains did not move lightly. Man was not completely removed there was Noah and his family none of these things in Jeremiah describe Noah's flood

In the beginning God created the heaven and earth and He created it perfect, He created it to inhabited and it was

Job 38:7 Where were you when all the sons of God sang together. That is ALL that would include Job, The anointed one,(Jesus) The cherub that covereth (the mercy seat the seat of Christ) and the bright morning star: Lucifer, and all the others.

Job 40 15.Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.

16Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.

17He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.

18His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.

Dinosaurs they did exist history is right. The La Brea tat pits are real even thou I have seen them with my own eyes as a kid. Some things I have read in chat rooms, heard from Pastors and the guy that built the Ark park you would not believe it. I have read on the internet that there were dinosaurs on the Ark

I want to come back to 2nd Peter I want to add one last verse to this and it will be the 3rd and last earth age verse 13.

3:3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Verse 13. Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Genesis 1:2

The second earth age

King James Bible
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Again I have given you the first 5 versions on Biblehub.com of Genesis 1:2 again for comparison

The Original Hebrew Reveals What God Is Saying In the Creation Of The Universe

When we conduct a serious study in the correct usage of the Hebrew language, we find that Genesis Chapter 1 verse 1, was not written as a collection of verses which describe the original creation of God.

The sentence, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth,” is an ending to God’s description of the creation of the universe. If it was intended as a part of God’s summary of the entire creation, then the second verse—”The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters”—would have been the beginning of the description of this creation. It is not. Verse 2 is a completely separate and distinct subject.

The second verse of Genesis introduces us to the condition of the earth at some point after the creation. Most read this verse and assume that it describes the state of the earth as God originally created it in verse 1. This idea would have us believe that God created a world completely in darkness without any substance and order. The words “without form” and “void” are translations of the Hebrew words tohu and bohu. Tohu and bohu are often paired together in the Old Testament and portray a “place of chaos, formlessness, emptiness, a wasteland” (Brown-Driver-Briggs Lexicon).

Deuteronomy 32

1Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.

2My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

3Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.

4He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

This is part of the song of Moses that the elect will sing so it is good to know.

Isaiah 45.

18.For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

19I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

God Creates man

Remember this is God's word not mine.

The Sixth Day: Creatures on Land

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. 31And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

I want to focus on the creation of man [Ken's thoughts this is where time changes from God's day a thousand years to man's day 24 hours.]

26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

We do not see God form man out of the earth He created him in His own image and in the image of the others that were with Him both male and female. You want to know what the angelic beings look like; just look at yourselves. Let them reign over the fish of the sea, anything that fly's in the air over the cattle, heard animals and every thing else that moves on the earth. God says that they can eat the herbs, fruit, vegetables, fish, birds, wild animals, and domestic animals.

God has created man to be hunters, fisherman, headsman, and gathers of fruit ect. Then He says they are very good.

Genesis Chapter 2.

Verses 1-3 The 7th day God rested and God blessed the 7th day.

Verse 5. And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. Read this again. On the 6th day God made man to be hunters, fishermen, herdsmen, and gathers. There were no farmers “there was not a man to till the ground. So what does God do about this?

Verse 6.But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. This mist watered the whole face of the ground. the whole Strong's Hebrew 3605:1) all, the whole. surface Strong's Hebrew 6440: 1) face. of the ground. Strong's Hebrew 127:1) ground, land1a) ground (as general, tilled, yielding sustenance) It did not water one part of the world but the whole surface the ground.

What did God do next.

Verse 7. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
This has nothing to do with the men and woman created on the 6th day. One reason is that on the 6th day creation God created both men and woman but not here. God formed man of the dust of the ground, God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. This man had an eternal soul it would have never died had he followed the law God stet for him. This is not to say that man and woman created on the 6th day did not have a soil they did. It was mortal libel to die not eternal. Remember God said they were good very good.

Strong's #119 adam To show blood (in the face) i.e. flush, or turn rosy

Strong's #120 A human being (an individual or the species, mankind, etc.)

Verse 8. And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

God makes a garden for this man Adam He had formed. He grew every tree that is good to look at and to eat from. Then He made 2 very special trees “The tree of of Life and The tree of good and evil.” God told Adam that in the day that thou eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil he would surly die. Remember this because we will come back to it later.

Then God brings all the animals to Adam to name them and see if any would be suitable for a wife, but none was found.

Lets stop right here I have seen time lines, I have heard people say that God created Adam and Eve on day 6 of creation. What does the bible say.

God made man and woman at the same time to be hunters, fisherman, herdsman, gathers. Man from Strong's # 119

God rested on the 7th day

Then God crated Adam to till the ground because there was not a man to till the ground. That was after the 6th day and

7th day and who knows how many days after that.

Then Gods Created the garden for Adam and put him in it to tend the garden that is why God created him to till the ground.

Adam names all the animals and looks for a mate but does not find one.

Here we are at the end of chapter 2 and who knows how many days past the 6th day when man and woman were created this is.

Verse 21. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Men and women both have the same number of ribs 24 12 on each side What does a rib look like a curve, what does it take to make a person DNA what do we call the DNA chart the Helix curve. The original Hebrew text states that God created Eve "from the curve of Adam". This was later translated to Greek as "Rib". Considering what we know today about genetics and DNA, curve (as in Helix Curve or Double Helix) is scientifically correct.

ebible.com/questions/.

One of the next most misunderstood things on Adam and Eve being the first people created comes from Genesis 3:20

And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living; and she was. Most people thank that she and Adam had children of all races and that is where the races come from. Impossible; God follows the laws of nature. Yes Eve was and is the mother of all living. Why? She is the mother of all those that are born again. It is through Eve that came the King line through which gave us Marry who gave us Jesus and it is through Jesus that we have eternal life and that is what this is talking about.

The 6 day creation was all the races except one, The Jewish race and that would come through Adam and Eve to Seth to Noah all the way to Jesus.

If you follow Gods word and use some common sense it really is not that hard. God is not the author of confusion.

Noah was of perfect pedigree

9These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. 10And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Noah was perfect in his generations. This means He did not marry anyone out of his blood line. Yes that ment that they would marry a close relative even a brother or sister. After a few generations then you could spread it out a little further. That blood line needed to follow Eve to Mary so that Jesus would come from a perfect blood line.

Lets go to Abraham the father of many nations. In Genesis 17 when Abram is 99 years old God tells him if he will keep His covenant that He will make him the father of many nations. The covenant would be that every male would be circumcised on the 8th day And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you. And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed. He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant. And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her. Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear? And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee! And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. Notice something about Abraham here; God has just given him the greatest gift a father and Husband could be given the promise of a son. Not any son but one that would be the father of nations and kings, and at a time in life when children are the furthest thing on your mind. Abraham will be a 100 years old when the child is born and Sarah 90 years old. The other thing here is that Abraham is concerned about a half bread child that he fathered with Sarah's handmaiden he wants to know what will become of him. This says a lot about the type of man he was.

The bible does not say a lot about Ishmael but lets take a look at Ishmael. Genesis 17:20. And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. 21. But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

The Descendants of Ishmael Genesis 25

12.Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham: 13And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,14.And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa, 15. Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah: 16. These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations. 17. And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.18. And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren.

First, it was through Isaac that the promise to Abraham that the Lord would "make thy seed as the dust of the earth" (Gen. 13:15), or as numerous as the stars (Gen. 15:5; 22:17), or "as the sand which is upon the sea shore" (Gen. 22:17) would be fulfilled. (Gen. 21:9-14.) Indeed, the promises made to Abraham, which result in the blessings of the "Abrahamic Covenant," were renewed with Isaac (Gen. 26:1-4, 24) and then later with his son Jacob. (See Gen. 28; 35:9-13; 48:3-4, and Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, p. 13.) It is certainly apparent that the Lord intended His covenant to be established with Isaac even before Isaac was born. (Gen. 17:16, 19, 21.)Second, Paul suggested that Isaac's birth was the fulfillment of a promise made between Abraham and the Lord. (Gal. 4:22-23.) Since Abraham was 100 years old and Sarah was 90 (Gen. 17:17), neither expected to become parents. Before the announcement of Isaac's birth was made, we must assume Abraham and Sarah expected the promise would be fulfilled through Ishmael, (Isaac's elder half brother) born to Hagar, Sarah's handmaid. (Gen. 16.) The Lord even seems to have set the exact time when Isaac would be born (Gen. 17:21; 18:14; 21:2), and revealed the name by which he would be called in mortality. (Gen. 17:19; 21:3.) Thus Isaac became the first (and only) son of the first wife, making it culturally and traditionally appropriate for him to receive the promise made to his father.

We all know about the story of Esau and Jacob; or do we? Lets start at the beginning: Rebekah is barren she asks the Lord God to allow her to have children. He does she conceives and we read in Genesis 25:22 the children fight within her to the point she asks God what is going on. Verse 23 tells us that God replies is “you have two nations fighting within your womb. When the two brothers are born Esau comes first red and hairy, Jacob has hold of his heal. He wanted to come first. The two were as different as night and day. Esau was a hunter, and worked in the fields. Jacob was a home body, he liked to work around the house and cook. Isaac loved Esau and Rebekah loved Jacob. Here is where the story can and does get mixed up. Verses 29-34 Esau comes in from a very hard day of work hunting and tending the field. He thanks he is about to die. He says “please please give me some of that stew you have made”. Does Jacob take advantage of his brother here? Yes he does; He tells his brother “you sell me your birthright for a bowl of my stew” Esau sells his birthright. This is why God hated Esau before he was born. God know from the first earth age that he had no regard for his birthright. I have read several bible sites and sermons on this in the last day and a half on this and several will tell you that Jacob stole his brothers birthright. Not true. Jacob nevertheless did take advantage of the situation and told his brother sell me your birthright and I will feed you. Esau could have said no but he did not. Jacob did not steal the birthright. Do you thank God would have blessed him if he had. NO.

Isaac is on his death bed Rebekah comes up with a way to trick Isaac into giving Jacob the first birthright blessing.

I know these verses are a lot of reading but it is important if you really want to understand all things like Jesus has promised.

Genesis 27: 15 And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son: 16And she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck: 17And she gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.

18And he came unto his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I; who art thou, my son?

The Stolen Blessing

30And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting. 31And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his father, and said unto his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his son's venison, that thy soul may bless me. 32And Isaac his father said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy firstborn Esau. 33And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed. 34And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father. 35And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing. 36And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me? 37And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son? 38And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

39And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;

40And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.

41And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob. 42And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee. 43Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; and arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran; 44And tarry with him a few days, until thy brother's fury turn away; 45Until thy brother's anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day.

Does Esau have a right to be mad at his brother? No. God had his hand in all of this, but Esau agreed to sell his birthright; no one made him do it. In verse 40 we read Esau would have the dominion. That means to have dominion, be lord, rule. He is going to have a place to rule, just where is that? The area of Edom to the southeast of Judah also referred to as “Seir,” encompassed only a portion of the Edomites. The founding elements of Ancient China and of Japan were from Edom even though descendants of Esau may now comprise only a small section of the populations in those areas.

Esau was also important in the history of Russia. The very name “Rus” connotes “RED” which in Hebrew translates to “Edom.”

Is it no wounder that Russia, China don't like the Christians nations today. It is a feud that goes a long way back.

Most everyone here knows the story of Jacob his name was changed by God to Israel. He had 12 sons that became the 12 tribes of Israel. I want to look at son # 11 Joseph. He was the one Jacob loved the most. Joseph was a dreamer; God gave him dreams. This all the more angered his brothers. In Genesis 37: Joseph had a dream about 11 sheaves. His sheave stood up and then the other 10 circled round about him and bowed down to him. This mad his brothers very mad; and they said shell we bow to you; No way. You should know the rest of the story they sell him into slavery in Egypt. Once again you can see Gods hand in this. None of this by chance. Joseph goes into slavery finds favor with the King of Egypt and becomes the #2 man in the kingdom. God directs every steep he took from prison to the palace. Lets move ahead to Jacob (Israel) giving out the blessings to his sons. You will find the blessings in Genesis 49. As you read this you will notice that the elder does not get the best blessing. Verse 8.Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee.9Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?10The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.11Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:12His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.

Something very special took place just before Jacob gave out the blessings to his sons. It is in chapter 48. Joseph comes to see his dyeing father and brings his two sons. Verse 5 Jacob uses a seldom law he takes Joseph's two sons and makes them his own. He then starts to bless them. Joseph seeing what is starting to happen places his sons the elder so the right hand is placed on him and the younger so the left hand is placed on him. This insures the elder the better blessing. Jacob starts to cross his hands and Joseph tries to stop him but his father assures him he knows what he is doing for the younger Ephraim would be grater than the elder Manasseh. Genisess 48:17 And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father's hand, to remove it from Ephraim's head unto Manasseh's head. 18And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head. 19And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations. 20And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh. 21And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you, and bring you again unto the land of your fathers. 22Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.

As we move on in this study (timeline) we are going to jump some 500 years we are going to pick it up with the death of King Solomon. He was the wises and richest man in the world at that time. His downfall was he turned his back on God and took in heathen woman and brought in there idols and there idol worship at the end of 1st Kings 11 King Solomon dies. His son Roboam wastes no time in taking over the throne 1st Kings 12. Here is where you really need to dig into things

1st Kings 11:26 And Jeroboam the son of Nabat, the Ephrathite of Sarira, the son of a widow, was servant of Solomon. 27And this was the occasion of his lifting up his hands against king Solomon: now king Solomon built the citadel, he completed the fortification of the city of David his father. 28And the man Jeroboam was very strong; and Solomon saw the young man that he was active, and he set him over the levies of the house of Joseph. 29And it came to pass at that time, that Jeroboam went forth from Jerusalem, and Achia the Selonite the prophet found him in the way, and caused him to turn aside out of the way: and Achia was clad with a new garment, and they two were alone in the field. 30And Achia laid hold of his new garment that was upon him, and tore it into twelve pieces: 31and he said to Jeroboam, Take to thyself ten pieces, for thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Behold, I rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give thee ten tribes. 32Yet he shall have two tribes, for my servant David's sake, and for the sake of Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel.33Because he forsook me, and sacrificed to Astarte the abomination of the Sidonians, and to Chamos, and to the idols of Moab, and to their king the abomination of the children of Ammon, and he walked not in my ways, to do that which was right before me, as David his father did. 34Howbeit I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand, (for I will certainly resist him all the days of his life,) for David my servant's sake, whom I have chosen. 35But I will take the kingdom out of the hand of his son, and give thee ten tribes. 36But to his son I will give the two remaining tribes, that my servant David may have an establishment continually before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen for myself to put my name there. 37And I will take thee, and thou shalt reign as thy soul desires, and thou shalt be king over Israel. 38And it shall come to pass, if thou wilt keep all the commandments that I shall give thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that which is right before me, to keep my ordinances and my commandments, as David my servant did, that I will be with thee, and will build thee a sure house, as I built to David. 40And Solomon sought to slay Jeroboam: but he arose and fled into Egypt, to Susakim king of Egypt, and he was in Egypt until Solomon died.

Do not overlook verses 29-38 it is Gods plan to split the 12 tribes into 2 different houses the 10 tribes Israel and the 2 tribes Judah (Judah & Benjamin)

Is this spoken elsewhere in the bible? Yes it is

Ezekiel 37:17 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, 16Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions: 17And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. 18And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these? 19Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. 20And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes. 21And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: 22And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: 23Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

24And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. 25And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. 26Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. 27My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 28And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

This Prophecy will not come to pass until the first day of the Millennium. The splitting of the tribes into the 2 houses takes place right here with the death of King Solomon.

This is what the prophecy given by Achia was about, The 10 pieces given to Jeroboam will be the 10 northern tribes Israel the other 2 will be the house of Judah they will keep Jerusalem. This is so important to understand. 1st Kings 12 and 2nd Chronicles 10. King Roboam goes to Sikima; for all Israel were coming to Sikima to make him king. While at Sikima the people make a request of the king. Solomon had put a heaven burden on them because of all the building he had done. Roboam told the people that he would have answer for them in 3 days and the people left. King Roboam met with the older men that had counseled his father and they told him to lighten the load of the people then he went and asked his advisors (friends) they told him to increase the work load, my father chastised you with whips I will chastise you with scorpions. Not a good way to make points with your new kingdom. This was all part of Gods plan to bring about the prophesy given by Achia.

And all Israel saw that the king did not hearken to them: and the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we any inheritance in the son of Jessie. Depart, O Israel, to thy tents: now feed thine own house, David. So Israel departed to his tents. Jeroboam has returned from Egypt and is made King of Israel (the 10 tribes)

We read this crucial story in 1 Kings 12. Jeroboam began to fear that the ten tribes would, in the future, long for reunion with Judah. He decided that going up to worship God at Jerusalem during the festival seasons each year would lead to nostalgia for “the good old days.” He feared a future yearning for the time when they had been one nation under David’s dynasty in Jerusalem. This, he believed, would lead eventually to displacing himself or his descendants. As he pondered this problem, Jeroboam came up with what he considered the solution. He called the people together and announced some changes. To make things more convenient, he told them that henceforth they would have two worship sites in northern Israel from which to choose. This way they would no longer have to go all the way to Jerusalem. He established his new sites of worship at the city of Dan in the north and at Bethel in the south. At each location a golden calf would be the object of worship. Additionally, men loyal to Jeroboam and his new religion would replace the Levitical priesthood. We are told that, in fact, Jeroboam made “priests of the lowest of the people” As if all of this were not enough, he also introduced a change in the timing of God’s annual festivals. The Feast of Tabernacles, which came in the seventh month of God’s sacred calendar, was postponed until the eighth month.

Throughout the remaining 200 years of northern Israel’s existence as an independent nation, many dynasties came and went. Regardless of who was king, however, we are told over and over that he did not depart from the sin of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who taught Israel to sin. The ten tribes thoroughly disregarded God’s admonitions to their ancestors through Moses. They worshiped idols, violated God’s Sabbaths and, in general, simply disregarded God’s laws. The consequences were inevitable. God had warned centuries earlier, through Moses, that a “seven times” punishment would come upon them if they persisted in disobedience. Finally, in the mid-eighth century, armies of the mighty Assyrian Empire invaded Israel.

There is not time nor room for all the references. You can read 1Kings 15&16 2Kings 3,10,13,14,15,&17

Israel’s King Menahem bought a respite by giving Assyrian King Pul a large sum of money to withdraw. A few years later, however, during the reign of one of Menahem’s successors, Pekah, the Assyrians returned under Tiglath-Pileser. This time the Assyrians subjugated much of the eastern and northern part of the kingdom. Several tribes, including much of Reuben, Gad and Naphtali, were taken into captivity and transported to Assyria. During the reign of Pekah’s successor, Hoshea, things worsened. The Assyrians returned under their new king Shalmaneser and exacted tribute from the remnant of Israel. Then they returned a few years later and laid siege to Samaria. After a three-year siege, Samaria fell. The Assyrians then began to deport the population of Israel’s ten tribes en masse.

I want to stop right here and make something clear when we are talking about the king or nation of Assyria we are speaking about the workings of Satan You can find that reference in several places in Isiah where he likens Satan to the Assyrian.

Did God turn his back on Israel?

NO! God gave Judah a righteous king Hezekiah that cared about All 12 tribes of Israel. He reached out to his brother the house of Israel and here is what happened.

2 Chronicles 30:5-10

5.So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.
6So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
7And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the LORD God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.
8Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.
9For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.
10So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.

They Israel turned there back on Hezekiah, Judah, but most importantly they turned there back on God. Not everyone in the 10 tribes of Israel refused God. There were a few that did return to Jerusalem but the majority turned there back on the offer.

As a result of this God allowed the Assyrian army to over run and take captive the 10 tribes. This did not happen all at one time it took 20 or so years but they finely relocated the vast majority of Israel into Assyria. Israel refused to follow the laws and statutes of God. They set up idols, they changed the sabbaths, they did everything they could to disregard everything that God had told them to do. As a result this was what happened to Israel. 2 Kings 9And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it. 10And at the end of three years they took it: even in the sixth year of Hezekiah, that is the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken. 11And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes: 12Because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD their God, but transgressed his covenant, and all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded, and would not hear them, nor do them.

This is the last time we hear of the House of Israel. So what happened to the promises given to Ephraim and Manasseh is the bible wrong or do we just not know where to look. We need to look at history to see if we can find out what happened to the 10 northern tribes of Israel. The 10 northern tribes ever returned back to there homeland. We know what happened to Judah we can follow them up till the time of Jesus and then we know that they resettled back in the state of Israel in 1948. The state of Israel does not fulfill either promise form Jacob (Israel) to Ephraim or Manasseh. Israel is neither a great multitude of nations or a very great nation. We know that the 10 tribes never returned to there homeland after there captivity. They remain to this day separate from Judah, and today's country of Israel. They went northward through the narrow mountain passes of the headwaters of the Euphrates. This took them north of the Caucasus Mountains and on to the northern shore of the Black Sea. This is exactly where history places the Cimmerians, who later traveled up the Danube and Rhine River basins into northwestern Europe.

Israel’s Migrations
What happened to the Israelite's who were taken captive by the Assyrians? The Bible tells us that they were settled near the River Gozan and in the cities of the Medes. Gozan was a tributary of the northern Euphrates River. The cities of the Medes were in the area just south of Armenia, between the Black and Caspian Seas.

Epheriam receives his blessing in Genesis 48:19 He will become a multitude of Nations. The British Empire at its height in 1921, this empire had become a refined worldwide network, ruling approximately one quarter of all the land on Earth. The nations conquered were linked in trade as well as in politics, and this lasted for quite a while. While various countries gained their independence over time, even by 1952 when Queen Elizabeth took the throne, over 70 colonies still existed in the empire overseas. Nothing lasts forever, however. The end of an era, which began in the 16th century, finally came around in 1997 when Hong Kong, one of the empire’s most prominent territories, was transferred back to China. This is the fulfillment of the blessing to Epheriam. At its height in 1921, this empire had become a refined worldwide network, ruling approximately one quarter of all the land on Earth. What is the greatest nation in the world. It is The United States of America. We started as a British colony. Why is the United States in decline? We have turned our back on God. There is no two ways about it. Just open your eyes and look. This all started with Israel's migration over the Caucasus Mountains and there settling in what is Europe today.

There is one other promise that I want to bring up here also and that is Genesis 49:10 In Jacob’s blessings of his twelve sons, he says this about Judah: “The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he to whom it belongs shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his” We know that this He to whom it belongs shall come is Jesus at his second coming as King of kings and Lord of lords. So where is the scepter today.

Notes

Could the tradition that the British monarchy is the kingly line of David, crowned on the Stone of Jacob, be subjected to scientific scrutiny?

Today marks the fiftieth anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom on June 2, 1953.[1] Surely her half-century reign would be the envy of many ancient kings, who considered one measure of their greatness to be the length of their reign. Great Britain has been a world power for centuries, and heads the Commonwealth of Nations which spans the globe with nearly fifty member countries. How could a few small islands have come to have such widespread influence? Just who are the British anyway?

Queen Elizabeth II on her coronation day.
When one traces the roots of the Britons, Scots, Irish, Welsh, English (Anglos and Saxons), Picts, Normans, and Celts, there is substantial evidence that all of those peoples are of Israelite descent. The tribe of Joseph seems to be best represented, but there is evidence for the presence of several of the tribes. Volumes have been written on that subject,[2] but in this article, it will be taken as a starting point that the inhabitants of the British Isles have a lot of the blood of Israel. Because of this anniversary date of the monarchy, let us focus on the succession of British royalty.

1. King David's Throne

There is a strong tradition that the British royal line is the continuation of the throne of King David of the ancient "United Kingdom" of Israel and Judah. An examination of the genealogies of those kings clearly shows their descent from that royal line. The Lord made a covenant with King David, which was not conditional on David's continued righteousness. The Lord stated:

I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,
Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. . . .

I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.
Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.
His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;
Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.
His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.
It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven.

2. Jeremiah and the Scottish Royalty

The earliest known colonizers of Ireland were the Danai, who almost certainly were from the tribe of Dan. They had separated from the other tribes shortly after the Exodus, and founded some cities in Greece, including Athens.[5] About 1200 B.C. a colony of Danai from Greece journeyed to Ireland. Centuries later a group of Israelites called the Milesians arrived and subjugated the Danai. The Milesians were either the same as, or joined with, the Scots, who had migrated to Ireland from Scythia (Scotia = Scythia), near the Black Sea.[6]

The Flag of Northern Ireland combines the Star of David (Pharez) with the Red Hand (Zerah).
The kings of both of these nations came from Judah, from the line of Zerah. Wh[7]o was Zerah? Judah was given the promise that his children would reign until Shiloh comes (Gen. 49:10, most likely referring to the second coming of Christ).[8] His descendants all come through his twin sons Pharez and Zerah. David came through the line of Pharez, and a similar promise was made to him concerning his descendants, as noted above. But the line of Zerah also produced many kingly lines, including the kings of ancient Ireland. For the purposes of this article, we need only understand that the ancient Irish were of Israel, and their kings were from Zerah, whose symbol was a red hand, or a hand with red thread tied around it (Gen. 38:28).

The histories say that in about 584 B.C. a Milesian chieftain named Gathelus became a hero in Egypt and married the Pharaoh's daughter, Scota. Gathelus must have given her that name in honor of Scotia, or Scythia, the former country of the Scots. The histories explicitly state that Gathelus was a descendant of Cecrops who founded Athens.[9] My conclusion after doing this research is that the Milesians were not the same as the Scots. The Milesians were most likely a second colony from Greece which came about 1000 B.C., and the Scots probably migrated from the Black Sea after the Assyrian captivity in Israel about 700 B.C. Thus, Gathelus giving his wife the name Scota might have been a way to help politically merge the two groups into one. They moved to the part of Spain now called Portugal and built the city of Brigance and called his subjects Scots. Gathelus and Scota had a son named Eochaidh whose wife Teah Tephi chose Ireland to be their residence. They founded Tara in Ireland, officially called their subjects "Scots" in honor of his mother, and Ireland later became known as Scotia.[10]

The histories also mention that Eochaidh was accompanied by a prophet named Ollam Fodhla and his scribe Berach. Gathelus (or perhaps Ollam Fodhla) prophesied that wherever his marble seat would be found, there would reign one of his descendants over the Scots.

2.1 Ollam Fodhla

The Harp is the Symbol of Ireland on the Royal Flag.
What has all of this got to do with our story? Some versions identify Scota as the daughter of King Zedekiah, Ollam Fodhla as Jeremiah, and Berach as his scribe Baruch.[11] But wasn't Scota the daughter of Pharaoh? Remember that "pharaoh" is simply the Egyptian word for king, and Zedekiah's daughter certainly was a king's daughter who was in Egypt. The traditions also state that the small group who thus escaped from Egypt took with them to Ireland the harp of David, the ark of the covenant, and the stone of Jacob. It states that King Eochaidh was coronated by Jeremiah in Ireland while sitting on the stone of Jacob, and some versions add that his wife Teah was the sister of Scota and also a daughter of Zedekiah. The harp of David became a national emblem of Tara and of Ireland.

2.2 The Stone of Destiny

All the kings of the Scots in Tara were coronated on that stone for over a thousand years. Then about A.D. 500, Fergus of Ireland conquered the Picts who lived in Scotland. The Picts agreed to accept him as king, so he had the Stone of Destiny moved to Scotland, where he was crowned on it. It thereafter also became known as the Stone of Scone (pronounced "Scoon") because it resided at the castle there. True to the prophecy, that land where the stone resided was ruled by a Scottish king, and became known as Scotland. Later, King James VI of Scotland became James I of England, and today Queen Elizabeth is his descendant. Thus, even now that Scotland forms part of Great Britain, it is still true that the Scots are ruled by a monarch of Scottish royal descent.[12]

The Coronation Chair was built around the Stone of Scone (just below the seat).
The Stone of Destiny was moved to Westminster Abbey in London, England,[13] in 1296 A.D. by King Edward I. He had a special "coronation chair" built around that stone, and all of the British kings and queens have been crowned in that chair since, including the currently reigning Queen Elizabeth II. In 1996 the stone was returned to Scotland.[14]

2.3 Were Davidic Kings Coronated on the Stone?

The Coronation ceremony appears to have been taken as directly as possible from the description in the Bible of the coronation of David and Solomon. The monarch is anointed with sacred oil by the Archbishop of Canterbury, trumpets sound, and the people shout "God Save the King" (1 Samuel 10:24, 1 Kings 1:39). The royal crown contains twelve jewels made of the same twelve stones which were in the breastplate of the high priest (Ex. 28:17-21). These similarities alone do not prove that the kings really are the royal blood of Israel, but such would be expected if the British throne is the continuation of the throne of David. Of course, the royalty also have extensive genealogies to prove their lineage.

It is interesting to note, however, that although the stone is not explicitly mentioned as part of the Biblical coronation ceremony, there seem to be references to it which have been overlooked. Consider the following accounts of when King Joash of Judah was anointed by the high priest Jehoiada:

And when she looked, behold, the king stood by a pillar, as the manner was, and the princes and the trumpeters by the king, and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew with trumpets (2 Kings 11:14)

Then they brought out the king's son, and put upon him the crown, and gave him the testimony, and made him king. And Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and said, God save the king.
Now when Athaliah heard the noise of the people running and praising the king, she came to the people into the house of the LORD:
And she looked, and, behold, the king stood at his pillar at the entering in, and the princes and the trumpets by the king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded with trumpets, also the singers with instruments of musick, and such as taught to sing praise.
(2 Chronicles 23:11-13)

He were are told that along with the usual parts of the coronation ceremony, that also the king stood at his pillar, as was the custom at coronation. What does that mean? Some Bible translations are more literal and render it, "The king stood on the pillar." [15] How can one stand on a pillar? It turns out the word translated pillar come from the root meaning "to stand" and can also refer to a "stand" or "platform." The meaning of pillar come from the idea that a pillar is standing up on its end. So the verses could also be saying that the king was coronated while standing on his stand, as was the custom. Was that stand or pillar the Stone of Destiny? If so, just what is it that makes this stone so special? It was called the Stone of Jacob. Just what was the stone of Jacob?

3. The Rock of Israel

The is a strange story in the Book of Genesis, which has been somewhat enigmatic. In the light of knowing about the traditions surrounding the Stone of Destiny, and knowing its size and shape, and knowing that authentic or not, an unbroken chain of kings has been crowned on that stone for centuries, the following history now makes a lot more sense.

Nearly two thousand years before Christ, the Prophet Jacob (as in "Abraham, Isaac and Jacob"), was traveling back to the land of Haran to choose a wife. When he passed by a city named Luz, the following event occurred:

And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.
And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.
And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.
And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it.
And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that city was called Luz at the first.
(Genesis 28:11-19).

3.1 The Stone of Jacob

The Stone of Destiny
The size and shape of Stone of Destiny helps make sense of this account, in case it really is this stone of Jacob. First, it is in fact about the size and shape of a big pillow, being about 26 x 16 x 10 inches. It was apparently already a stone which had been cut into a rectangular building shape when Jacob found it. It was probably rejected by the builders because it has a crack in it, so it had been discarded before being finished. If the Stone of Destiny really is Jacob's stone, then it is easy to see how he could stand it up on its end to be a "pillar." Actually, it might have been difficult because it weighs over 300 pounds. Checking the meaning of the word translated "pillar," we see that it means a "stone marker," which often were very large pillars. Most likely this one served mostly as a marker, so that he could find the location when he returned.

Two decades and a dozen children later, Jacob was commanded to return to Bethel. After Jacob returned, and had built and anointed a more permanent altar, God appeared to him there and announced that his name would be changed to Israel, adding "a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins" (Gen. 35:11). This is most likely the time when Jacob decided to bring the original stone with him, though we are not explicitly told that detail. Note that the announcement that kings would descend from him occurred there. It would not be surprising if he was also given to know the future relation that his stone might have to those kings.

The Stone of Destiny has two rings which have clearly been used for transporting the stone by sliding a pole through both rings. There is a groove worn between the two rings which testifies of having been gradually eroded by such transport for an extended period. The stone would have been taken not only to Egypt with Israel, but then also with them at the Exodus and the forty years in the wilderness. Presumably it stayed in Jerusalem from the time of David until the fall of that city in 587 B.C.
3.2 The Stone of Israel Symbolized Christ

Jesus Christ, the Rock of Israel
There is evidence in the Bible the it might well have been this stone which was specifically indicated to have been the "stone of Israel" which symbolized Jesus Christ. During the blessing of Jacob to Joseph, he inserted parenthetically, "from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel" (Gen. 49:24, compare D&C 50:44).

Although I couldn't find any place where the Bible states explicitly that the stone of Jacob accompanied the Israelites during their exodus from Egypt,[17] Paul seems to imply it. He compares physical things such as the manna, water, and a rock which "followed" them to their spiritual counterparts which all symbolize Jesus Christ:

MOREOVER, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
(1 Corinthians 10:1-4)

Thus, the Rock of Salvation (Psalms 95:1) which shepherded the Israelites, apparently referred to the physical Stone of Jacob. Of course, as Paul explained, it was symbolic of Jesus Christ, who also identified himself as the Good Shepherd of Israel (John 10:11).

If the identification with the Stone of Scone is correct, then it is a very plain looking piece of calcareous sandstone[18], so ordinary that in preparing this article I noticed that several web pages describing the Stone of Scone were scoffing at how plain it is for the royalty to make such a fuss about. Thus, it has "no form nor comeliness" and "no beauty" that is should be desired, which is exactly how the Savior is described (Isa. 53:2). That led to it being "despised and rejected of men" (Isa. 53:3).
3.3 Rejected by the Builders

It may not only have been the original builders who discarded the stone. There is a also a tradition that when it came time to build the temple of Solomon, that the stone of Jacob, which was associated with the house of God from the beginning, should be included. But the builders rejected it because of the crack in it. There seemed to be no way that it could be a cornerstone to a temple.[19] Nor did it seem to the Jews who saw the Savior that there was any way that he could be the Messiah, the cornerstone of their religion. Thus, both were despised and rejected. David prophesied that the stone would be rejected (Psa. 118:22), and Jesus identified himself as fulfilling that prophecy. He explained that the "stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner" (Mat. 21:42, compare Acts 4:11). Knowning the Jesus Christ is the Rock of Israel (2 Sam. 23:3), we have long understood that scripture in the spiritual sense. But now that we learn about the Stone of Jacob, we see that the prophecy might well have been fulfilled in the physical sense also.

Is the Stone of Scone indeed the Stone of Jacob, which Jeremiah brought to Ireland, and on which British royalty has been coronated for so many centuries? Is there any way to verify these traditions, or will such ancient claims remain forever impossible to verify?

4. Geological Evidence

In the age of modern scholarship, it has become fashionable to demote all ancient history and tradition to the realm of legend, myth and fantasy. In many cases, that is like throwing out the baby with the bath water because there is usually a core of truth handed down in legend. In preparing this article, browsing the web for the "Stone of Scone" led to more articles ridiculing the traditions than those giving them any credence at all. Modern writers have assumed the Stone of Scone must have originated from a local quarry.

I am only aware of two scientific attempts to determine the origin of the stone. The first was by Professor Totten of Yale University. In response to suggestions that it had come from a local quarry, he issued the statement:, "The analysis of the stone shows that there are absolutely no quarries in Scone or Iona wherefrom a block so constituted could possibly have come, nor yet from Tara."[20]

The second study was done by Professor Odlum, who was a geologist and professor of theology at Ontario University. He made microscopic examinations of the stone, comparing it to quarries in both Scotland and Ireland, and found it dissimilar to stones from those areas. He became intrigued with the idea of that it might really be the stone of Jacob. That hypothesis could be tested scientifically by searching to see if a similar type of rock is found near Bethel, where Jacob found his stone. After considerable searching he found some strata rather high near a cliff that had exactly the type of composition he was looking for. He chipped off a piece and later performed microscopic tests. He concluded that his sample "matched perfectly" with the coronation stone.[21]

Desirous for even better proof he sought to get a little piece the size of a pea from the coronation stone, on which he could perform chemical tests. When he petitioned the Archbishop of Canterbury for such a piece, the reply was that it would take an act of Parliament signed by the King, and even then he wouldn't provide it.

To the best of my knowledge that was the end of a really fine scientific experiment which could at least partially validate the claim that the stone might have come from Bethel. This is an excellent example of how science can indeed be used to validate historical traditions. They cannot provide proof, but can greatly add to the credibility of a story. What is needed now is a really thorough scientific study of the stone to verify its authenticity.
5. Conclusion

Preliminary geological studies have indicated that the Stone of Destiny, upon which British monarchs have been crowned for centuries might indeed be the stone of Jacob as tradition asserts, because it matches a formation near Bethel, the Biblical location of the stone the prophet Jacob found. Further scientific testing is now required, such as a thorough chemical composition comparison, and even that can only confirm the possibility that the stone is authentic. In any case, on this fiftieth anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, we can pause to pay respect to what very well might be the continuation of the unbroken line of succession of kings reigning over the children of Israel, from King David, over three thousand years ago.

England is the Lion, Russia is the Bear and the USA is the Eagle came from the World Wide Church of God and Herbert Armstrong.
Actually they are the symbols those great powers use, so HA does not have a monopoly on that.

And as I said earlier, who hold the power in the G 7, G 20, UN?

They are called the BIG 4 or the Quartet of Power.

If you have wondered where I have been I have been working on this. I hope you take the time to read it all. Ken

You are right I did find some of the things that I used in that book but not a lot. My question is about your timeline. Israel and Juda will not be rejoined untill the feet of Jesus touch the Mt. of Olives at the sound of the 7th trumpet and we are all gathered back to him. Where is the promise given to Ephraim and Manasseh? 99% of everything I said comes from the bible

You sent me the timeline graph or at least I think it was you. As to finding my information from The Armstrong church I did find information there but backed it up with information from Encyclopedia Brittanica, Oxford University Press, and other places on line.
