Hello! I’m new here and my name is…Kels. I was diagnosed with schizoaffective about 2-3 years ago. I’m currently struggling with it as I’ve lost my job yesterday because of side effects. It stinks! Just wondering if anyone else here has struggled with mental health problems?!

I never heard of schizoaffective until I read your post.

I just "Googled" it.

May I ask what your particular symptoms are?

Well about 3.5 years ago I decided for a divorce bc it wasn’t a healthy marriage and I moved. I got sick after that with hearing voices, seeing things, talking to myself and believing ridiculous things. I was out of touch with reality for over a year. I finally got better bc of CHRIST. He pulled me out of it. And so now I take meds and it’s worked to the extent that I don’t hear voices or see things with meds. But I do have commentary on things I do.

Nice to have you joining the fellowship here at CC! The more you read the Bible, even for 15 minutes a day, pray and listen to Christian messages, the less room for 'voices' and such. God bless and keep you!

Hi ya sis, welcome

Have confidence that He who began a good work in you will carry it through to completion. Sometimes healing is partial in order to whet our appetite and encourage our faith to expect more.
