Obviously the word translated touch can mean touch ANYTHING.

FOR ANY PURPOSE

To insert that it means Eve touched satan and had sex with him, and not the fruit of the tree is pure imagination, and private interpretation.

And remember, the text says Adam ALSO "touched" and ate from that tree. So either you are agreeing that Adam had sex with satan, or the theory has no validity.
Where did Cain come from? Why is he not listed in Adams geology God takes great pain to make sure we can follow the family tree why would he leave Cain out and then go one chapter over and give us Cains line Why would Jesus say in John 8
The Children of the Devil
42Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. 46Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? 47He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Good Afternoon!
That is what Genises 6 says.
Not to get off subject...I consider the first mention of the sons of God and whom that title applied to then,
surely didn't apply to men...

4, ¶ Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5, Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6, Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened ? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7, When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

God Bless!

And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar. 2And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah. 3But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife. 4But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation? 5Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this. 6And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her. 7Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.
Do you thank the king took Saraha for a walk and held her hand? God would not have had to stop the king from doing that and the king would not have had to pay such a reparation to Abraham for that.
So yes I thank Satan had sex with Eve and that child was Cain, I am in good company though because Jesus said the same thing as I posted above.

I love your art work. For in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. Why
didn't Adam and Eve die? Is the bible wrong or is there another explanation?
Thank you :)

Genesis 2:17

I made some minor alterations ;):geek:

In dying you shall die explains it. Somewhat. I will be back shortly...

You are right and what question did God ask Job? Where were you when I created all the sons of God that included Satan. I can not prove this but I thank it is true Satan as one of the cherubim's that covered the mercy seat ranked right the Trinady untill his fall.

Here is some:

Genesis 2:16
the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat"

according to your perverse interpretation doesn't this means God told Adam to have intercourse with all the trees in the garden?

I gave Scripture. I was looking for my earlier post concerning the phrase "in dying you shall die" but had to feed my cat, after making alterations to my new Genesis panel. Always so much to do and I never get everything that needs to be done, done. Time flies :)

Where did Cain come from?
I mean there is ZERO mystery of who Cain's father was:

Genesis 4:1

New King James Version

4 Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore [a]Cain, and said, “I have acquired a man from the Lord.”

They rejected God's word...so did Cain. Rejecting God's word makes anyone a child of the devil.

But how and when did we get it.
A: I only have one previous post in this thread, did not call anyone any names and have proven myself to refrain from such conduct for the most part.

B: @GaryA gave you an answer in post #2 to which you responded in post #3 that he was correct. However you say to me you’re still looking for a discussion. Falsely accusing someone of sowing discord is not a good way to have a discussion. However to answer your question directly, I believe Eve eating an apple is a metaphor.

Point C: I knew a guy from the East Coast who’s name was Ken. He was egotistical, self-righteous condescending and used to say, “come spirit come”. He moved to Oregon and I haven’t heard from him since. Your name is Ken, you’re from Oregon and in a different thread you said, “come Jesus come”. Good to see you again, Ken. Please proceed to put me on ignore.

@kenallen I found the post I was looking for in a different thread :D

Variants of the phrase “dying you shall die” occur 49 times in the Old Testament. Of these, two
are involved in the story of the fall of man—one in Genesis 2:17 and the other in Genesis 3:4.

This same idiom appears twice more in Genesis, in chapters 20, and 26.

In the remainder of the Pentateuch, variations of “dying you shall die” occur 26 times.
In 23 cases, the writers use this phrase to state the penalty for various crimes including
murder, Sabbath breaking, bestiality, and blasphemy. In each text, God is announcing
criminal or civil laws with their penalties. Additionally, these capital penalties are
interspersed among other laws with lesser punishments. It seems unquestionable that
in these 23 occurrences, “dying you shall die” announces a legal penalty for breaking
specific laws. Thus, these 23 texts align well with the two other uses in Genesis. All
announce a punishment to be given for breaking a law or command.

who laid the corner stone thereof;
7, When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
considering the context of this chapter is the vast array of God's work, including providing the lioness her prey, and especially in regard to the tone of God's challenge toward Job to answer Him, it isn't impossible this is a rhetorical question... i.e., was it the morning stars singing together? was it (all) the sons of God (men) shouting together? ..., that is, no, and it certainly wasn't you...you don't have the wisdom anymore than the stars do...and all of you put together couldn't do it...

How could you say that Jerusalem the place that God called his favorite place in the universe, the place He will set as His millennial kingdom is Babylon
because the bible already calls it some nasty names:

Revelation 11:8
And their body will be upon the street of the great city, which is called spiritually Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.

Sodom and Egypt are not exactly good places to compare to. paul also says:

Galatians 4:25-26
Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present-day Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother

Hey, good afternoon!
I mean there is ZERO mystery of who Cain's father was:
Genesis 4:1
New King James Version

4 Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore [a]Cain, and said, “I have acquired a man from the Lord.”
Gen 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

What do this mean to you?

Be blessed!
