I see you have no compassion for people that have been through troubled waters. You must be perfect like Jesus 😒
He will work with the humble and contrite of heart, I don't see that in you at the moment.

Because you are saying I shouldn’t remarry and I may not be allowed when I know in my heart that I can!

No, he doesn’t show you if someone is known by him. That is your opinion. Unless you have God talking to you about others salvation

Getting a little insulting there, aren't we?

I'm a Pentecostal Minister and he and I chat often. I'm sure being a Pentecostal disqualifies me as a Christian to you, but he and I still talk together often. *Shrug

Yes, they do. And you can tell if someone has really come to terms with their bad decision making, by the humility they display. I haven't seen that in your postings, in fact I've seen the opposite, where instead you've merely tried to excuse yourself. Sorry, but I would be reticent to recommend you to any Christian man I know.
Wow.
You are ignorant of God and His ways. We have nothing to offer each other.
Humility.

James 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy.

Sometimes it's good to take a break from CC and come back with a fresh start using this verse as your guide.

Another one I like to use is: 2 Tim 2:24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.

I mean this is a CHRISTIAN forum where you are supposed to (my opinion) have compassion and be loving and caring towards people. I came here to talk to people that might care and here you are saying these hurtful things to everyone!

Have you ever considered helping other people's families and brothers and sisters in the Lord.

OP, I'm one who believes that actual abuse is a form of marital unfaithfulness. And that you SHOULD be free to remarry because of that.

That being said, please continue to study the Scriptures carefully and keep praying to God to guide you into what you should do. He takes divorce and remarriage seriously and as a brother in Christ I don't want you to stumble.

Blessings!

True honest loyal Christian men may be keeping a safe distance from divorcées on the prowl.
Why do you say this? As long as a woman's Biblically divorced, I'd have no problem with her. I think most single Christian men would be open to such. The only caveats might be the emotional baggage that comes from a divorce. And, if she has children, he will always be second in her life. (My late wife drew that line carefully and delicately, but I think if push ever came to shove...)

Sis, you need to understand that Christians are sinners too. Heavenly perfect fellowship will never be found in this order. Come to this site, go to any church or Christian function and bear that in mind going in. Resolve then to yourself that unless it's insanely out of balance, you'll stick it through. The fun part? You have to love and forgive those difficult people :D

True honest loyal Christian men and new age junk don't sound compatible.

Can you explain what you mean? Not being argumentative; I think you and I are probably on the same page. Hence my post about the OP studying the Scriptures and praying. I just want to understand better what you're getting at. ;)

No, you're wrong here SXP. I'm absolutely confident my actions and reactions are what the Lord would expect of me. I've walked with Him for nearly 40 years, and listened to His voice only.
Wow dude. You sound... perfect. In fact, you may be the first Christian ever to do what you described. Don't look now, but God may remove you before the rest of us, not unlike Elijah.

Wait... is that your name????

Hi! I’m in my 30’s and divorced. I’m just wondering why I can’t find any true honest loyal Christian men my age?! Are there any out there or all they all into this new age junk?!
I would say there are some out there. They are very hard to find. God knows who the right man is for you. He hears your prayers. I've learned to be patient and wait on God's time not mine. The best gifts are the ones from God.

I would somewhat agree with that. I'm not 30, however I do think the most important quality is the future spouse to be needs to have God as priority 1. I won personally won't settle for anything less than that. God has to be the foundation of any relationship. No matter what.

Don't go in circles with the pharisees on this site. You'll just be beating your head against a brick wall (their hearts). They are pros at making people look bad while elevating themselves.
Thanks! Didn't realize they were out there on here. I guess I was being naive lol
