EVERYONE? Then what, pray tell, are you "going to do" with these UNrepentant?:

Luk 7:29 "And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
Luk 7:30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him."

Everyone???

So, maybe the case was an UNrepentant thief, who "changed his mind" on the
cross, repenting, and "calling on The LORD," eh? Note, just my opinion...

GRACE And Peace...
The Pharisees did get water baptized. They came to John's baptism and John said to them "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance." So how do you want to to reconcile what this says with Luke 7:29,30? I propose if they were not baptized by John then they must have been baptized by one of John's disciples.

Matthew 3:7-12 KJV
7But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: 9And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 10And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
11I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 12Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

God has always required obedience. God's purposes hinge on man's compliance per God's design.

You state neither circumcision nor baptism play a part in salvation. The NT command to be water baptized parallels the OT circumcision requirement. The OT circumcision was essential for individuals who wished to remain in covenant with God. (Gen. 17:9-14)

Also, consider that God set out to kill Moses because of his sinful disobedience. What caused this possible death sentence? Moses had neglected to circumcise his son. (Exodus 4:24-26)
A Sign is evidence of something. Circumcision and Water Baptism were SIGNS that a covenant existed and was in force.

We're not obedient and then saved, likewise, we're not water baptized and then saved. We're only saved because we BELIEVE in the Blood and Body of Jesus Christ as Savior, Lord and King and recognize our sin and need for a Savior......FIRST, then we're water baptized because we believe in Jesus Christ and He saves us. Water Baptism becomes a SIGN that we are saved.

Water Baptism does NOT save us.... ONLY the Blood and Body of Jesus Christ has power to save us. Anyone that is saved will want to be water baptized because we'll desire it.

Hmm I don’t think so.

John’s water baptism was not the same baptism as being baptized into Christ and it was around before the new covenant was in effect. So John’s baptism of repentance was used during the old covenant as a sign of what exactly?

Acts 19:1-7
1And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. 4Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. 7And all the men were about twelve.

AMEN = water baptism is indeed a outward righteousness that we are to partake in - AMEN
We are both more then OK because we are under the BLOOD and Born of the SPIRIT.
You cannot spell LOVE without the BLOOD and the DOVE.

The Righteous PURE Blood of Christ saves us.
water baptism is the AFTER as the Scripture ALWAYS points to FAITH in Christ/Word in the heart BEFORE water baptism =1 Peter ch3

The FOUNDATION of ALL Truth begins in Genesis = Adam & Eve were never water baptized neither was Cain and Abel.
Neither was Enoch (Near Perfect WALK with God) neither was Noah, neither was Abraham Isaac and Jacob, neither was Job.

Noah and family saved 120 Years BEFORE symbolic water baptism. = 1 Peter ch3
Cornelius & family saved in their hearts BEFORE water baptism.
The SPIRT saves and the water baptism is the outward confirmation of the FIRST ACT of the SPIRIT thru FAITH is the cleansing SPIRIT Water of the WORD = called GRACE.

Why are you going down the OT road. Baptism was not required under the OC.
So why are you trying to stir confusion? Is it because you have nothing else?

I think so.

“water baptism is indeed a outward righteousness that we are to partake in - “
Naw not really my take on what baptism is because it’s not found in scripture that “ baptism is an outward righteousness we are to let’s keep of “

What is found is baptism is for remission of sins and prepares one for receiving the gospel and eternal life.

It’s not a ritual brother your describing a ritual “ an outward thing we do “ what I’m saying is it’s an inward thing we believe first and then we act from the heart believing it is what God said it is

it’s the same principle with communion communion isn’t “ an outward righteousness we’re supposed to partake of “ it’s not a ritual of a religion

It’s based on believing what it’s said to be by the lord why do we take communion ?

“And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭22:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

why do we afterwards do it ? Because it’s a ritual ? Or is it an act of faith we do because we believe what God said about it ?

“I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ?

The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:15-

if we don’t agree that yes it is communion there’s no reason for us to do kit it would become a ritual but if we agree it becomes faith

To show how it’s more than a ritual look at the end of this one

“For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭11:23-29‬ ‭

Mistaking and abusing a ritual can’t bring condemnation upon you. But partaking of the body and blood of Jesus sacrifice done in faith believing what he said it is , we’ve acted in faith and receive the blessing.

it’s the same thing with baptism Jesus doesn’t add it in here because it’s just an outward righteousness he says it because we need to have remission of sins

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it just seems to me my own personal view not needed to be agreed to by anyone else ….but my own belief baptism is just simply for remission of sins when we believe we get baptized for remission of sins in Jesus name

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,

and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:38‬ ‭

It’s made possible because Jesus shed his blood to Pay the price for my sins

“for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭26:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

like baptism when I take the cup I need to believe I’m partaking in his blood and body for it to be effective it’s an act of faith same with baptism if I believe it’s for remission of sins it’s of faith and I’ll want to do it.

if I believe Jesus shed his blood ( died ) for my sins my next move is to get baptized and be born again through believing the gospel

“Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:

that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:3-4‬ ‭

we need to start believing these things mean what the scripture says they mean why. Take communion ?

“For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.”

We take communion because we believe this is true when we partake

“as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.”

The faith is the meaning of these things they aren’t rituals but they are the faith of Jesus Christ baptism , communion , eternal judgement , spiritual gifts ect if we start believing it just means what it says it builds faith

Then you should study scripture;

Baptism is Required

Peter 3: 21.... whereunto even baptism doth also now save us...

John 3:5 .......Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 2;38-....Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22;16... And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Galations 3:26...... For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

KJV Marrk 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

KJV Matthew 3:14... But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 15. Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now, for thus it becometh us to fulfil all rightesousness. Then He suffered Him.

KJV Matthew 28:19..... Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:.

Acts 8:12-18: But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized.

John 3; 22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

Quote from Billy Graham that is note worthy;
....Also, to clarify I did not say remission of sin takes place at repentance. Scripture makes it clear that it occurs upon obedience to water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus. Each is a step of faith, along with receiving the Holy Ghost, in the process of one's spiritual rebirth

.."Paul explains the doctrinal significance of what occurs when one is baptized. His explanation is found in his letter to those who had already been obedient to the command.

Paul tells the Roman Christians what actually occurred when they were/are baptized; they were baptized into His death. Being buried with Jesus into His death resulted in their sin being destroyed.

Even though Paul explains this concept, the NEW AGE RELIGION TEACHING is......... that water baptism is nothing other than a mere public display.......... And that is so far removed from the truth.

Keep in mind that Satan knows if he can continue to perpetuate that lie ...... he can keep people from entering the kingdom of God. Thus He has proven scripture which says ...in the end times there will be ...great delusions.....they are here.

Conclusion....teaching that baptism is not necessary is violation of Rev. 22;19.... And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (Also two other books of the Bible).

Why do you keep up your copy and paste posts? I've addressed every one of the verses, so you have no excuse for your repeated errors.

Yet, you won't even address my comments. Why is that? Your repeated copy and paste only shows how stuck you are on your opinions.

I proved in John 3:5 that Jesus had to address both physical and spiritual birth, since Nic brought up the silly notion of being born a second time in his mother's womb in v.4. So v.5 is clearly about two births; one physical and one spiritual. There is NOTHING about water baptism in v.5.

You need to admit this fact.

Most christians are baptized under the baptism of John = repentance.

So what was the water baptism that Peter spoke of with the house of Cornelius after they were saved and filled with the Holy Spirit…

While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
Acts 10:44-48 - https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Acts 10:44-48&version=KJV

There are actually 3 baptisms - water, Holy Spirit and Fire.

Planet Earth is also going through these - Noah’s Flood, Holy Spirit outpouring and the Fire that is yet to come.

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (Also two other books of the Bible).

While on this earth we are not saved...we are born again. If we are saved then why will God judge us after this physical death?

Then you should study scripture;

Quote from Billy Graham that is note worthy;
....Also, to clarify I did not say remission of sin takes place at repentance.

If you feel convicted in your position after reviewing the above ......then you need to present scripture which validates your thinking or accept God's word as He intended it.
no I sure don’t feel any conviction at all for my position about baptism lol i am baptized , I believe everyone should get baptized in Jesus name for remission of sins ASAP …..but if they don’t believe what it’s for it’s not coming from faith

I have already addressed each and every verse here. Why do you persist in your false doctrine? You have been exposed.

In fact, it is very clear that Cornelius was told by the angel that Peter would give them a message by which they would be SAVED. And as Peter was speaking, they received the Holy Spirit, which proves they were saved right THEN.

Water baptism followed, but they were already saved, and already received the Holy Spirit.

I can't imagine why some people are just so stubborn as to reject this truth and continue to error that water baptism is necessary for forgiveness, salvation, and receiving of the Spirit.
I gladly accept the label of being stubborn since the bible states we are to be water baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus in order to wash away our sin; this in association with Jesus' sacrifice. (Acts 22:16...)

My favorite song when i was first saved (and i still sing it today) = 'Nothing but the Blood of Jesus'.
Do you know it?
The blood of Jesus makes it possible for people to be saved. It is believing and obeying God's commands in association with it that makes all the difference for individuals.

The word states one's sins are remitted in obedience to water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus. Salvation is not possible where sin exists.

Dear Brother/Sister?

You have need of the Holy Spirit to baptize you for you cannot SEE what the Spirit is saying in Scripture.

"Then he said, ‘The God of our fathers has appointed you to know His will, and to see the Righteous One,
and to hear His voice.
You will be His witness to everyone of what you have seen and heard.
And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized, and wash your sins away, calling on His Name.’"

A.) the Righteous One = YAHshuah HaMashiach = Jesus the Christ= Savior
B.) Hear His Voice = "Today, if you hear His Voice harden not your hearts" = No one comes to Salvation unless they are called.
C.) FAITH = "what are you waiting for?"
D.) water baptism = outward expression of INNER FAITH/HEARING GOD in your heart/spirit
E.) Salvation not thru water baptism but thru "calling on His Name."

JESUS is the Alpha and the Omega = the First and the Last = the Beginning and the End

water washes pots and pans and dirt from the flesh, but only His BLOOD washes away sins
