What is the Internet term for such people? I don't think they're necessarily trolls, but they don't seem to be that interested in honest discussion. They prefer to throw opinions out there and let others hash them out.
I think they may be pixies or leprechauns

I would not ascribe any nefarious intent to the OP...

Howdy Joseph and welcome to the forum.

I'm a Pentecostal minister and personally I agree that women should not cut their hair.

However... This is not a place to debate that. Also, trying to tell people what to do on an internet forum will probably get you a lot of flak. I checked your recent posts and noticed a lot of places where you are laying down the law to people. Yeah, no, this is not the place for that. This is a place to hang out and chat.

Case in point: Most of the people here who have known me for years are probably surprised that I believe women should not cut their hair. I just didn't come here to argue about hair. I came here to hang out and chat.

Ease up on the sermons man. This ain't the place to be preaching at people.

Ummm a Pentecostal minister? My stunned face is stuck in place with that revelation...

Holiness is what makes a person beautiful.
God promised to beautify the meek with salvation.

My mother grew up under old Pentecost and they weren't allowed to cut their hair. When I was younger I had long, really long hair. I also had an issue with weak spells and fainting. My mother took me to the doctor and he said that while my hair was healthy, it was taking away nutrients where it was needed in other places in my body. So for health reasons I had to cut my hair. I know other women who have had to do the same. Sometimes we need to be careful of making judgements of people, there may be a reason for what they do.

I never have made a secret about it. On the other hand I don't trumpet it at any given opportunity either.

I only mention it now because I was checking his very few other posts and he mentioned he was apostolic, pentecostal. Also he mentioned Lee stoneking which is a pretty big name in our circles but unknown almost anywhere else.

I'm sure that it's no "secret" I just think we don't travel the same forums. I figured the OP was apostolic, usually they believe that way. There was a group yrs ago called the Mc Gruders, great folk. They sang in our area and my father went to see them in concert. When they found out we were all going to see them in concert the next evening as a family, Carroll let the crowd know we were there by his invitation. We kept up the friendship for yrs. Anyway, long way round to say I have no issue with you, just it was a rather surprising thing I hadn't known before. That's why I think it's so interesting when CC members can meet in person.
