Dinner tonight...not exactly exotic. My savoury scones often turn out like rock cakes...stoopid oven. Anyway, I can use them as the main in a dish, and they're always handy as wheel chocks if I need to work on the car.

This looks like it is missing olives and feta cheese is yummy with this combination.
Is that red wine?
Do you grow any of your veggies yourself?

I know what you mean about circles and clutter...been there.

Going fairly well thank you Ruby. We've had about 300 mils of rain over the past five days, which is not necessarily exceptional on its own. Added to that the water table was still high from the deluge we had a few weeks back, it didn't take long for flooding to reoccur though. But pretty safe where I am.

I'm trying to get my head around the upcoming elections, but not having much success with that.

I hope you see the light at the end of the moving tunnel soon. Stay safe and well. 👍
Yes I saw on the news that you were getting yet more rain. You wont be short of water for summer later in the year.

Aghhhh election time. Yipeeeee hooray (not). I dont know who to vote for either. They are as bad as each other and we wont have good government until Jesus himself rules and reigns. Others will always have their flesh and money talks. Scomo is supposed to be born again but is making so so many mistakes and seems to lie alot.

What do you think of the chinese spy ships seen close to the coast of WA. This is alarming taking into consideration the deal they have done with the Solomon Islands. Aus may be in strife in the very near future. I had a dream about Aus two years ago and am waiting to see if it comes to pass re China. Lets see??

Quite right...it needed olives 🤔 I often have a wee drop of merlot to help kill the taste of my cooking...well that's my excuse anyway.

I usually do grow the cherry or grape tomatoes, and lettuce and rocket, but they all drowned. What I used tonight were store bought. I've got some tomatoes regrowing, and carrots, spring onions and maybe potatoes coming on. The birds beat me to the strawberries because the watchcat doesn't do her job.

I'm about to be inundated with a good crop of mandarins and of passionfruit too. You can give the mandarins away but no one usually wants the passionfruit, they're probably growing them too.

Have you got your seedlings sorted yet?

They go on like a mob of bickering imbeciles, it's embarrassing.

It's not for me to judge scomo, and I realise you aren't either, but people's words and actions and level of humility are indicators of their spiritual status IMO. I know the church he belongs to as well...Jesus shepherded me out of it.

Yes, I agree with you, please Jesus, come and enforce your authority 🙏

Besides its arrogant stance in the South China Sea, China's encroachment into the South Pacific and now the Indian Ocean will certainly have our defence boffins on edge. Dutton is a bit of a hawk, and seems to have the dreaded foot in mouth disease at times (as I do), but I think he is on the money, and the PM too, with the AUKUS agreement. I wouldn't have let our defence force numbers diminish as much as it has if at all, and I would consider reinstituting national service too (for more reasons than one).

Do you feel comfortable sharing your dream with us?

Yes I have although most things are still in a box and the place looks a complete mess. I find my self walking around it circles trying to clear the clutter with no light at the end of the tunnel just yet lol. I will just keep at it until it is done. It was delayed by a week as my previous landlord had covid the day before I was to move and I was considered a close contact and therefore had to delay. Everything is bought over now and I just need to unpack and put away and arrange to my liking.

Thanks for asking, how are you going Tony??
Man... moving.. talk about stressful.

Fear is nasty. Our automatic response is to avoid it but when you face it (with God) the devil loses his hold on you and you gain confidence in God. Easier said then done I know but worth it in the end when you come out the other side.
Ya know, I will try to bear this in mind Ms Ruby. Thanks.

Well I do know that there is a Pacific alliance being discussed between Australia, The Philippines, I believe Japan, and one other nation. I've been saying this for years. This needs to happen.

As for your voting, not saying you are, but don't neglect your civic duty. Everyone has sinned and falls short of God's perfection. That doesn't absolve of us our responsibilities. Some are better than others, and those better ones are the choices you need to make. When they're in office, do like the Word says, and pray for your leaders, that it may go well with you.

delicious ours are way smaller though
very expensive if you were to buy from shop though
Yes, I do believe ours were a bit smaller than that as well, though some pics I saw they were larger. I chose
that image because with the hand it gave a much better idea of size than just a mass of fish would...

This may be more like it? Hard to remember exactly being that it was so long ago...

I am not a dream guru or anything but I ask God ALOT of questions and I am NOT INTERESTED in following man"s interpretation of anything esp if he is well known and people blindly follow his teaching because he has studied the bible for the past one hundred years and knows the origin of the greek or hebrew words blah blah blah. I ask God for myself and wait for his answer and go on that.

God talks alot to me in dreams for some reason. I dont know why but I love it. Anyways this dream was I am at the beach and everybody is out and about enjoying themselves. I look at the horizon and I saw a big black tornado. I said to myself “ gee if that comes this way. I still have time to escape as it looks far away” I barely finished that thought when the tornado was straight in front of me. It travelled so fast. Everybody around me was screaming and running into the water. I then heard a voice and it said “this is not a tornado, it is China” then I woke up. The strange thing about this dream is any voice that I usually hear in the dreams sound like me. This time it was a man’s voice. This happened two years ago.

So with the spy ship in our waters and the pact China has made with the Solomon Islands I am thinking something is on the horizon.

Voting is compulsory here or we are fined. I think it is great. It forces everyone to make a decision and vote not take the easy way out and just complain about who is in office. Having said that, who do I vote for? Can I tick other and write in Jesus

are you ok

my brother joined a car club but did not need dads approval to do so
Im in a garden club

All it needs is commitment, you need to pay subs, and go to meetings etc, but would not think parents need to approve of whether you go or not.

it might be expensive for your dad but hes not the one going is he?
I live in my dad's house, and he still has control over a great many things in my life. I got my learning disability to thank for that! Because I can't be completely independent.

is that so

I work with learners all the time, what exactly is area of the disability? When people dont pass tests, it doesnt mean they CANT do things it just means they perhaps havent learned how yet, and need more training/experience. And people learn in different ways and at different stages.

if one sense is disabled, there might be another way to do it. You need to consider the possibility as we have six senses not just one through which we can learn.

Can you drive a car? Can you ride a bike? Or are you confined to the house?
If a club invited you to belong and members offered transport, would your dad say no? wHat does it have to do with him?

I can drive but I get lost easy. And My parents are scared when I go on the road because they know that my brain doesn't process things fast. Things happen fast on the road. I'm almost confined to the house. Typically when I go away, my mom rides with me. She's always freaking out about something... I told her today, you got a problem with everything I do. She argued not everything.

scary
but then tornados are common occurrance in some areas

its just weather patterns
I think australians need to cultivate their interiors more than beaches, because your beaches are so exposed. Though I dont know why you have such dry conditions. I remember once riding through surfers paradise and being quite intimidated by all the skyscrapers right near the beach. Why?

It just seemed really weird to have skyscrapers near the beach...

I found some of my long lost computer art. It took a year to draw these on paint brush. But my backups back then were not organized. I was lucky to find these again!

thats the thing with over protective parents

you need to chip away at them, or stand up to them because they, especially mothers will tend to treat all their children like babies even when they become adult

the getting lost part is where you take maps and gps
and use your orientation skills, which might also include needing to asking strangers for help

thing is to be strategic. I am going to x place at this time and plan to be home by this time. I will phone you if im stuck
thats all it is

depending on where you live, people can take uber or carpool. Its not right to confine someone to the house when they need to do some things outside of it - it was the plight of desperate housewives everywhere. Driving, the more you do it, the faster your responses get.

Jesus isn't sitting in Jerusalem yet, so vote your conscience for the best human. Who aligns most with Biblical values? Who will most likely protect your freedom?

I think some of it is because I'm an only child, and they are very conservative. Like if I want to go some place, my dad will bring up the price of gas.

aw
well
i think you just need to arrange some transport to get to the club, if a member can pick you up on the way, or get an uber, and pay for it yourself or give a gift to the driver

if its just once a month it shouldnt be a big deal and provided its not too far away
not sure how public transport is in your area, but dont let it be too much of a barrier for enjoying your life.

suburbia can be isolating for those without wheels. I recall one time took some kids out to the library for an outing. They had NEVER been outside of their own suburb before. The only places they would have gone, aside from school is with their parents to visit relatives or perhaps to the supermarket.

@Ruby123

I bought a small mobil home in December. It's in a retirement park, so the lot rent's cheap (half of the kind of rent I'd have to pay for a studio apartment around here). I'm not retired (praying God enables that SOON... tired of the stress of having to please a boss), and I'm earning decent money, so God has blessed me here. But...

MOVING!! AAWWWGGHHH I hate it.

Notifying every creditor, friend and family member about the change in address... setting up utilities... having to be home for those appointments... heavy lifting... heavy lifting... heavy lifting... packing... unpacking... more heavy lifting... things getting damaged in transit...

Blech
