He has a minister that visits him, though it's only once/month. Praying he gets more Christians to visit with him (I'm 300 miles away). When I last saw him in April, I read some scripture to him that was related to Easter. Something in him resonated with what I was reading to him. I could see it in his face. That comforted me. He likes it when people read scripture to him.I can certainly relate to that... With the money comes a peculiar pride and "image consciousness". I still don't measure up to my parents expectations and they're pushing 80.
They're also Christian... They consider themselves very blessed.
Sorry to hear about your Dad, but it's good you got to pray with him.
