Actually, Trump told Putin not to invade Ukraine. In your opinion, if anyone speaks favorably about Putin (remember this is before the invasion of Ukraine). does that mean they are a traitor and should be arrested? Trump said it was better to be on talking terms then to alienate other countries.
Perhaps all the facts are more important than bias and rumor. Trump is not responsible for what has happened. Notice Putin did not invade while Trump was in the White House. Perhaps you could put a link to that comment Trump's generals are supposed to have said.
You know, if you make a comment like that and have no proof of what you say, it is basically just gossip.
Actually Putin believed that Biden wouldn't do anything about his invasion of Ukraine...especially in light of his impotence in Afghanistan.
Putin wanted to remove the arms in Ukraine and "denazify" meaning regime change. But he liked the propaganda term "nazi" even though Zalinski is part Jewish.
Now that they are three months in...
This is not going the way Putin wanted.
The Russian economy is in ruins. They have a surplus of oil not leaving the docks as tankers just sit there. Groceries have skyrocketed in prices. Jobs are evaporating. Butter has to be guarded in the grocery store to stop shoplifting.
The ruble vs the dollar by state decree is 57 to one....but on the street it's 100 to one.
So things are getting difficult in Russia for their citizens. And they aren't stupid or buying what their government is telling them. They really don't want Ukraine as part of Russia.
So I don't know how much longer Putin will remain in power...especially with the new special police of Putin's.
