Just about the most sensible post I have seen here. But these people that are crying over children today on the news will be screaming for the right to kill the unborn next month. I mean, people are preparing for another summer of love because they believe there is going to be so much violence. In a blink of an eye it will change to "I'm killing my baby" woman. smh

Okay, here’s something that can probably defy your logic if you’re open for new ideas.
All guns were banned in the Trump NRA meeting. Why? Because guns are the issue? If not they should have banned people instead.

Well I'll swing back with this one, all politicians and their children are protected with guns and ours aren't, why, if guns are the issue.

God did not send those children to the indoctrination camps their parents did. Can any one show passages of God's Word telling us to allow nonbelievers to teach or children.. A reading of the Biblical history of the Children of Israel gives us strong clues as to who should be teaching our kids. So wish i had home schooled my kids and Praise to the Lord my grandchildren and great grandchildren are homed schooled.

I’ve debated this in other topics. Short version is: I don’t pick a verse from the Bible and build a worldview around it. I pick the Bible as a whole and build a worldview around it.
‘Jesus didn’t come as a warrior on a horse, He will do that on his second coming.
‘He came on a donkey to serve and preach love and humility.

No because they value their children, and their money and their homes and can afford to protect them. When they give up their protection, I'll agree we should do the same.

because there are nuts running around loose given excuses for their behaviour

your logic and mine are miles apart... Very thankful no one was killed when the bad guys kicked in our door also thankful my husband had his rifle . That is the short story there is a long about the fire of protection of the Lord.

All right, well practically we have to resolve these issues in our daily lives by making our own choices and I’ve resolved mine and works pretty good for me and my family. Because I know that we won’t be resolving these issues nationwide by talking in a forum.
‘We can change things for ourselves and our families.
