Human effort/works must cease on the Day of His Finished WORK.
What i want to know is this = "Are you a Piece of WORK"
OR
"i can work this out"
So the "works" that we now do, if done in HIM according to His Will = will remain.
For all "work" will be tested by fire.

yes the works of the flesh ( sin ) disqualifies from inheritance working from our sinful heart of lust , pride , greed , unforgiveness our hearts are corrupt to some extent
hearing and believing the gospel is the purifier of our heart
what I mean is there’s a root to why we commit sin
“For
from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
all these evil things come from within, and defile the man.”
Mark 7:21-23 KJV
That’s been the problem since this command was broken and men began to know both good and evil in thier mind and heart it was not Gods Will for man to be conflicted between good and evil so he commanded us to live
“And the LORD God commanded the man, saying,
Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
but of the tree
of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof
thou shalt surely die.”
Genesis 2:16-17 KJV
Now man is changed now we have the law within us of good and evil resulting in sin and death but it’s within our heart and mind this conflict now of good and evil what do we desire ? What really has our heart ? What is most in our mind and heart where no one knows but we ? Within us all there’s some amount of this conflict and corrupted heart
“Now if
I do that I would not, ( I don’t want to sin but I still do )
it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.( I’m sinning against my own Will to be good son to res something wrong with me sin has corrupted me )
I find then a law, that,
when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in
the law of God after the
inward man: but
I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.”
Romans 7:20-23 KJV
We werent created to have this law of sin within us , God made us in his image and likeness , blessed us in everything gave us freedom and dominion and life and fellowship with him
then God warned us out the knowledge of good and evil and death. He stated his will and truth about this “forbidden fruit “ of
knowledge not intended for mans mind and heart.
now instead of being blessed and having dominion and freedom of Will mans existence is a constant struggle between good and evil and all hope was lost with mans pure and true knowledge what is meant to fill mans mind and heart is the gospel it’s the knowledge of eternal
Life
whereas the forbidden fruit brought forbidden knowledge and led man astray into sin and death . The Gospel is the knowledge or righteousness and life through Christ
the catch is though we have to hear and accept the things Jesus taught
by hearing and
learning from Jesus in the everlasting gospel oir corrupted hearts are being being redeemed through through the right knowledge that is meant for Mankind’s mind and heart and leads to life everlasting .
just as breaking the original command led to death herring first and accepting and believing in trusting in the gospel and the knowledge Christ emits to all who hear him leads to everlasting life but again we do have to really hear what God said in Christ and believe that stuff and get away from modern interpretations
Jesus came to reveal the knowledge of God to mankind the knowledge of salvation to redeem us from the knowledge of good and evil sin and death
“And we know that
we are of God, and
the whole world lieth in wickedness.
And we know that
the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding,
that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”
1 John 5:19-20 KJV
we are renewed in knowledge as we
hear first and
believe the teachings and sayings of Christ and things of his eternal kingdom.
As the church matures we start to hear thkngs like this better and clearer without taking offense
“Lie not one to another, seeing that
ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
and have
put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
where there is
neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but
Christ is all, and in all.
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved,
bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
And
let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and
be ye thankful.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

And we eventually don’t respond to things like that as some others do “ works have both g to do with anything “ instead we let the new knowledge we learn from Jesus change what we think and believe and what we do changes because it’s coming from the heart just as evil comes from within so does good

if we dwell on lustful things ,material things , we dwell On grudges we keep against others , pride and greed ect and those become our path our ways that we walk in eventually because it’s what we’re pursuing and wanting and seeking in the heart and mind
to let the gospel in to correct and restore us to the knowledge of mans creator and what we are meant to k or before the corruption is what it’s all about
“ Come unto me all who are weary and burdened here me and learn from me for I’m humble and gentle take my yoke onto yourself and learn From me and follow “
is really what the gospel is about we’re learning the truth for mankind from our creator redeeming what was led astray and corrupted in Eden
