I LOVE the word "engulfed" that you used. For me, I was engulfed in the Raw, Almighty Power of God to the point that if I had felt more, I would have at minimum been physically altered, somehow. I was so engulfed in Power that I had to gasp to breathe, and had I died from a lack of oxygen, I would have died with the most incredible expression of joy and happiness on my face. It was this day that I realized how much I was NOT under the control of the Spirit, but under the control of the Devil, or, the Sinful Nature. Yes, that day I realized many, many things. In fact, I did not realize all that I had learned until specific moments in time had come along so as to reveal what I had been granted to know and understand. I had been given certain understandings, but until certain events came along, I did not realize what I had been given.

More than likely, that "day" for you . . . you had received the Circumcision of Christ. Circumcision is equated to Understanding. Knowledge is equated to the Spirit. Wisdom is equated to a direct relationship with God. It sounds as though you have been placed onto a legitimate plane of viewing life in accordance to the Spiritual Realm. Congratulations! You are likely one of the few that has actually crossed over from death to Life.
It was many years later when I experienced what I think is called His Shekinah. I was a little surprised that I wasn't vaporized! It was the most powerful experience of my life! He is so awesome!

I understand. You see things that I do not see and vice versa. Hence, the
"body" of Christ. We are on different mountains that offer different views. :)
Perhaps Jase will tell us whether she was speaking to that issue :)

It was a week before anyone responded

Thank you! I am glad you like it :D

I applied a filter to the face which makes it look like stone, signifying the heart of stone
that needs to be replaced, even as the Light of God shines upon the visage from the side :)

A person submits to God also. Yes? Or no?

I have designed a panel today you may like :D

2 Corinthians 3:13-15~ We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at the end of what was fading away. But their minds were closed. For to this day the same veil remains at the reading of the old covenant. It has not been lifted, because only in Christ can it be removed. And even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
This IS beautiful! You DO realize that your panel is pointing to Colossians 2:9-15, right? This panel is discussing the Circumcision of Christ. So unbelievable . . . our Bible is just so unbelievable.

Wow, just oh wow! My experience was so Powerful that I have, since that moment, said that I realized that God could vaporize me in a nano-second at any moment of my life, hence, Fear of the Lord. But this Fear is not one of being Afraid of actually dying, but a Fear of utter respect, for I know that the Lord will never kill me out of anger, but out of love and desire to bring me Home.

I doubt that Jase was referring to the matters of free will as I have alluded. In fact, a part of me was stirring the pot (a little). haha

When I saw His glory, my attitude was "Whoah!" Awesome beyond words! I came to translate one use of the word fear as reverential awe and respect. I later found this experience in the bible.
"I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory." - Psalm 63:2 I often pick up my guitar and sing this to the Lord, though Andy does it much better than me.

My friend, there is no doubt in my mind that you are one of the Lord's very few Holy Elect.

I am most honored to meet you!

I'm not sure what that means. I'm just a nobody and we've already met. I'm Oblio. Thanks, though. That was kind of you to say that.

It means that YOU have been Chosen by God. You did NOT choose that Spiritual experience, for no one can. However, that experience is the confirmation that the Lord Chose you to experience Him in such a Powerful and Almighty way.

John 15:16 NKJV - 16 "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you."

Saul did not choose his Damascus Road experience, but instead, God Chose Saul, later to be named Paul, to not only suffer for Him, but to also serve. And . . . there was nothing that Paul could do to prevent the outcome of his life, for anyone who experiences the Lord as we have, we know that this Choosing is the Way, Truth, and Life and that any other option is of utter and pure Evil.

I have felt the Terror of the Lord, meaning that I have had a "foot" in Hell . . . and there is NO WAY that I would ever choose any other path than the one that God has lain before me. I am ready to die for the simple name of Christ, for in my death, I know where I shall end up. I'm ready today; right now.

Yeah, me too. "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." - Philippians 1:21

There is another song I was trying to find (to no avail) where they sing, "Deep cries out to deep."
I did find an edgier version done by Aboriginals. It was not as sappy as the one you posted
:LOL::unsure:;):LOL:

It's not sappy! Err...it's anointed! Sappy! That sounds like something my kids would say! I can't believe it's a quarter of a century old! Sigh.

At this moment, I know that it's His will that I'm here. I feel a deep peace. I hope it stays this way.

Total Depravity - As a result of Adam’s fall, the entire human race is affected; all humanity is dead in trespasses and sins. Man is unable to save himself (Genesis 6:5; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:10-18).

Unconditional Election - Because man is dead in sin, he is unable to initiate a response to God; therefore, in eternity past God elected certain people to salvation. Election and predestination are unconditional; they are not based on man’s response (Romans 8:29-30;9:11; Ephesians 1:4-6, 11-12) because man is unable to respond, nor does he want to.

Limited Atonement - Because God determined that certain ones should be saved as a result of God’s unconditional election, He determined that Christ should die for the elect alone. All whom God has elected and for whom Christ died will be saved (Matthew 1:21; John 10:11; 17:9; Acts 20:28; Romans 8:32; Ephesians 5:25).

Irresistible Grace - Those whom God elected He draws to Himself through irresistible grace. God makes man willing to come to Him. When God calls, man responds (John 6:37, 44; 10:16).

Perseverance of the Saints - The precise ones God has elected and drawn to Himself through the Holy Spirit will persevere in faith. None whom God has elected will be lost; they are eternally secure (John 10:27-29; Romans 8:29-30; Ephesians 1:3-14).
