According to Matt 26:29, Luke 22:15-16, and Luke 22:28-30 Jesus' followers
will be capable of dining upon ordinary foods and beverages.

I look forward to that because at my current age of 78, I've lost much of
my senses of smell and taste. With the new youthful body promised to his
followers, my favorites will be a lot more pleasurable than now.

In heaven, there is no use for tastebuds. Heaven is so much more than the physical world. Hang in there . . .

Does anyone else feel the same way? Or is it just me? Why aren't we more in one accord. And don't tell me "because the way you believe is wrong". Every single person here believes they are right according to the Word. If that is true, we should be able to sing "There's a Sweet, Sweet Spirit in This Place" and there isn't. Why?!
Denominational ideologies n such stuff cause about 99% of the disputations. But do not forget that even the Disciples had their disputations.....

just saying

I don't think CC is an example of normal Christian fellowship.

There is an abundance of arguing in a way that Christians should know better than to do.

Be polite, make your case for an interpretation and let it go if someone gets personal or offended.

The immature arguing is not what most Christians in a church setting or home fellowship will normally do.

So what we discover on CC is that Social Media in general causes some people to let their flawed character get exposed. Like when people act ugly when driving in a way that they would not do in the grocery isle. (usually)

This lack of civil response in discussing scripture is a sign that there is a serious need for Christ to work on their character and they should get off CC until they can change their behavior. Short fuses and testy responses should make someone feel really ashamed and cry out to God to root out that nastiness.

It's that simple to me.

Only sinners go to heaven

The supernatural circumcision spoken of by Colossians 2:11 makes it
possible for a sinner to enter Heaven completely free of human nature,
i.e. 100% sinless.

I wish the nuns had told me that in catechism as it would've spared me
many years of anxiety relative to endless suffering in eternal flames.

Hmmmm . . . the Circumcision of Christ removes the Sinful Nature, which is an element of the Curse of the Lord established because of the disobedience of Adam and Eve. We never lose our Human Nature, for even Jesus had a Human Nature and there was no corruption in Him.

Romans 9:5 NLT - "Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are their ancestors, and Christ himself was an Israelite as far as his human nature is concerned. And he is God, the one who rules over everything and is worthy of eternal praise! Amen."

1 John 3:5 NLT - "And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him."

The Human Nature serves. The Human Nature is to serve our Spiritual Father . . . the one who controls us. That is why a person, if their Spiritual Father is the Devil (who has taken us captive to do his will), will serve him. But if we have been set free of this Curse, our Spiritual Father becomes God, the Spirit, and Christ . . . and we will serve our new Master, our Triune God.

When Paul spoke about the weakness of the Human Nature, he said so not because it is sinful in itself, but because it is weak on its own . . . it will even serve the Devil. The Human Nature controls nothing, but rather, it is controlled. The Human Nature does not even serve itself. It simply serves either God or the Devil.

Colossians 2:9-15 NLT - "For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. 10 So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. 11 When you came to Christ, you were "circumcised," but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision--the cutting away of your sinful nature. 12 For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. 13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross."

Only sinners go to heaven
Our ever after life is on a new earth... :)

And everyone's a sinner ;)

Though I know what you mean :D

Still, I wonder when people say such things, where people think unrepentant
sinners will be judged at the end of this age following the resurrection of all

Is the judgment seat of Christ not in "Heaven"?

I started out in life with really good eyesight. The stars appeared as little pin
pricks of bright light, reading fine print was a piece of cake, and I could
almost see in the dark like a cat. That all began to wane right around the
age of 31 as astigmatism took hold.

Well; the astigmatism was an easy fix with glasses but then when I got
older, cataracts crept up on me and driving my car became very hazardous
'cause my vision was like looking thru a very dirty, foggy window. I couldn't
read street signs in time to make a safe turn nor could I accurately judge the
distance between mine and oncoming cars nor tell how fast they were
approaching. So left turns became an adventure, to say the least.

These days cataracts and astigmatism are relatively easy to correct (if you
can afford it) but there's just no substitute for good-quality natural eyesight.

Phil 3:20-2 . .The Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to
bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that
they will be like his glorious body.

I am looking forward to that day in Messiah's kingdom when I can once
again see the stars as little pin pricks of bright light and the headlights of
approaching cars look nice and round instead like exploding fireworks.

Our ever after life is on a new earth... :)

Yes, it is.

II Peter chapter 3

[10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
[11] Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
[12] Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
[13] Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
[14] Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Again:

Revelation chapter 20

[11] And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
[12] And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
[13] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
[14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
[15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation chapter 21

[1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
[2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
[3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
[4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
[5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Is the judgment seat of Christ not in "Heaven"?
No, it is not.

It will be right here on earth.

Matthew chapter 25

[31] When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
[32] And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
[33] And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
[34] Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
[35] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
[36] Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
[37] Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
[38] When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
[39] Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
[40] And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
[41] Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
[42] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
[43] I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
[44] Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
[45] Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
[46] And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Well don't feel bad, I'd be hard pressed to climb a ladder myself and I'm still in my 40s. lol
Listening to you describe your age in the past, I assumed that you were much older.

You're just a puppy.

P.S.

Yeah, I changed my bear profile picture (just so you remember who I am).

But I'm going somewhere . . . I'm not staying here in this corrupt world.
That's correct.

Isaiah 65:17
For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Revelation 21:1
Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and
the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
