You've heard the words of God, they have called you to Faith. You confess the Lord and receive the gift of Salvation! Congratulations, you have taken the first baby step on the most wonderful journey there is.

So now that you are 'saved', you will most likely announce your Faith, be 'born from above' and be made a new creature. Doesn't matter if you are 6 or 60yrs old, the gift of Salvation is the same for every single soul. From the mother of Jesus to the thief on the cross, ALL ARE SAVED BY THE GIFT OF JESUS, all receive the exact same gift. Praise ye the Lord!!!

Even so, what will your 'eternity' look like? THIS ISN'T THE SAME BY ANY MEANS. Faith without works doesn't let anything follow you. Naked you will be and standing next to you is one draped in fine linen. You, hopefully at the very least, a vessel of honor wood, maybe brass but standing right next to you a vessel not only of honor but OF GOLD. WHY? Not because the 'Holy Spirit' did a BETTER work in them but THEY followed the will of God and they followed the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit and their works are of a life time and they are many and they will help decide how they will spend eternity.

HOW ARE YOUR WORKS? Anyone try to convince you they are anything but good? SURE hope you aren't listening to that nonsense. WORKS are all we can take with us. How do you think GOD knows what 'body' to give you? That 'seed' contains not only DNA but the memory of your works. It has to if they follow you. No choice.

So next time anyone questions what your intentions are with your works, tell 'em "GOLD, I am looking to WIN THIS RACE!!!!!"

Cause that is what your competition is doing.

Hebrews 6:9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Hebrews 6:11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

2 Timothy 2:14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

2 Timothy 2:17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;

2 Timothy 2:18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

2 Timothy 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

1 Corinthians 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

1 Corinthians 15:36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

1 Corinthians 15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

1 Corinthians 15:38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that HE IS a rewarder of them that diligently SEEK HIM.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Hebrews 12:4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

Hebrews 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

Hebrews 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Given all the Scriptures you provided, I am a wee bit surprised you did not include Matthew 16:27. It pretty much capsulizes the general message of your Post IMO.

Sometimes, in order to maintain the one thought, the more controversial is left out, even though it may better capsulize the general message.

OR, as in this specific case, I just completely forgot it. So, Thank You, as it does.

(Although, maybe, it was because the intention was/is towards any 'ewes' that may be seeing all the 'osas/works salvation/mans conclusions' doctrine discussions, and find themselves questioning their own intentions when in reality, all good works for GOD are GOOD and valuable and have lots of worth both now and in the eternal life, and so should not be questioning them, ever. Can one even call themselves a Christian if they don't understand we are reconciled to GOD though the willing sacrifice of JESUS and it is through HIS WORTHINESS, not ours, this happens? Let's pray not. How many times have you comforted a soul in distress over some personal 'unworthiness' when not one of us is ever worthy? GOD, in His perfect love, COVERED even that for us. How much more FREEDOM from guilt (from sin repented of) could He have given us? We are left free to labor and work in love alone to accomplish His desires which become our desires also. THE PERFECTION of it all, is nothing less than AWESOME.

Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

Matthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of His Father with His angels and THEN He shall reward every man according to his works.

Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

2 Thessalonians 1:6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

2 Thessalonians 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

2 Thessalonians 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

2 Thessalonians 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

2 Thessalonians 1:10 When HE SHALL COME to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because OUR testimony among you was believed) in that day.
