Group think chapter 5a
5 Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you.
Isn't that something, what the poor people don't have to go through the tribulation? There is a great illustration of this point in our current events. The deplorables represent rural America, farmers, mechanics, truck drivers, etc. The elites, the talking heads all have prestigious degrees, teach at elite universities, and think they are the wisest in the land. They live on the East and West coasts. They are doctors, lawyers, marketing executives, hedge fund managers, etc. Once our cities are attacked, burned, and our electricity goes out no one will need a lawyer, or hedge fund manager, nor will they be watching TV. The NY media, Hollywood, all these elites will weep and wail. But farmers, mechanics and even truck drivers will probably continue pretty much as they are.
2 Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days.
Suppose you have some guy who is worth $50 million. Today that is really considered nothing. Many, many people have that much. He has stocks, bonds, a couple of houses, nice cars, etc. Then the stock market crashes, his bonds, his stocks, and his bank account is worthless. He may still have debts which he can't pay. He will be totally bankrupt, but worse, that wealth that he did have will testify against him. Which houses will the roving Mad Max gangs loot first? They'll see his cars, his house, his possessions and his gated community. Do you think they will have any mercy on this guy?
4 Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. 5 You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter. 6 You have condemned and murdered the innocent one, who was not opposing you.
You need to wake up, everyone will have to appear before the Lord and make account for everything they have done. The rich are proud and arrogant that they are wiser and smarter than the rest, yet if they are honest they are responsible for an economy that is collapsing right around them. Also if they are honest they have hoarded wealth and failed to pay wages, When people did blow the whistle on them they condemned. When we do open their books we learn they killed innocent ones that had done nothing against these corporate oligarchs.
Patience in Suffering
7 Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. 8 You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. 9 Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!
We are a crop growing, when we are ripe we will be harvested. The crop is of "sons of God", "men of faith", those who like the Lord "take up their cross and follow Him" and they "love not their life unto death". The harvest is the wheat harvest. The gematria of wheat is 22, add up the numbers in this year on the Jewish calendar and it is also 22. The gematria of harvest is 400. The last letter of the alphabet is 400, it is also the 22nd letter. The last book of the Bible has 22 chapters. Add 400 +22 to get Wheat Harvest and 422 = your salvation (gematria). The fourth month is the "door". It is also the beginning of summer. The judge is standing at the door means that when that door is opened some will be welcomed into eternal habitations and others will be judged.
10 Brothers and sisters, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 11 As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
Look at the example, this is how we should stand. We will be attacked, and in the face of suffering we need to speak in the name of the Lord. We bless others who persevere in the face of these attacks, they are the example for us. Job shows us that being righteous does not prevent us from being the focus of Satan's jealous attack. We need to go on from there to learn about exercising God's dominion over the earth, over the demons, over the fallen man.
12 Above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear—not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. All you need to say is a simple “Yes” or “No.” Otherwise you will be condemned.
This whole book is about group think, about cults, and the worst thing cults do is demand the pledge of allegiance to their leader. James is telling us above all not to do that. The equivalent with the Antichrist is the mark of the beast. With the Nazis you joined the Nazi party and they gave you a pin to wear. In other countries you join the communist party. One way or another cult leaders demand that you swear an oath to them. Don't do it. Stand firm, speak in the Lord's name and remember we consider those that persevere tribulation to be blessed.
My experience
I have had some miraculous experiences of being delivered by the Lord's grace. Angels making sure I didn't dash my foot against a stone. I can think of four very miraculous events. Two I should have been killed, one I might have survived but should have been in very bad shape in intensive care, and one I should have broken a few bones. In all four cases I walked away without a scratch, without any injury at all despite others looking on in disbelief.
My point is, have a backbone, be a man, speak for the Lord in the Lord's name. They can threaten to hurt me but nothing would be worse than the threats of violence and death the Lord has already brought me through.

The Prayer of Faith
13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
Job was a righteous man, that is what we learn in chapter 1. He had to go through all that trial to learn that the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. He called all his useless friends and they preached to him. What he needed was the prayer of a righteous man. Step 1 we learn the power of speaking in the Lord's name, step 2 we learn the power and effectiveness of the prayer of a righteous man.
17 Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
If it were me I'd talk about Elijah calling down fire from heaven. But think about this, today I pray that it doesn't rain and it doesn't rain. No one thinks anything of it. I do that again, and again, and again. After a month we have a slight drought. No one is going to be happy hearing me pray for there to be no rain. After six months there will be government edicts about conserving water and there will be pastors calling on their churches to pray for rain. I will be seen as evil or horrible to be praying for no rain. After a year I will become a hated and despised person. After three years they will want to kill me. Maybe for the first six months they ignored me, then for the next year they tried to ignore me while they prayed for rain, and then for the next year and a half they couldn't ignore me so they slandered and attacked me. This isn't the way the world presents prayer as getting your wish granted, this is the life of prayer. Elijah must have had a forehead made of flint. I suspect 90% of the people disagreed with him vocally or said nothing at all. There were probably very few people with the courage to step out publicly and defend Elijah or take a similar stand. This is what it is like to overcome groupthink.
19 My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, 20 remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
Wow I love the way he does this. Elijah stood alone while the entire nation wandered from the truth and he alone stood for the truth, not like the friends of Job with their gospel of condemnation but by prayer. Then James tells us that if you help turn one person back to the truth it is just like what Elijah did. It is like seeing a gold medal weight lifter and then saying hey, if you work with these five pound dumbbells it is the same thing. We don't start out as Elijah, you have to build up to that. But it doesn't matter, which is more one person lifting 1,000 pounds or ten people lifting a hundred pounds or a hundred people lifting ten pounds each? This is how we overcome group think, one person at a time speaking, praying, turning one person back to the truth at a time.

I was recently touched by the story of Joseph when he tells his brothers that "they meant if for evil but God meant it for good to save the world".
His brothers were jealous of the word he spoke and so tried to excommunicate him from the family, destroy his life, sell him as a slave, basically squash him all because of the dreams he had had.
Well, all they could do was plant that seed that grew into a mighty word of salvation for the whole world. Jesus is the incarnated word of God, a seed that needed to be sown into the ground in order to bring forth fruit and that is what the Jews did.
So with Joseph his brothers thought they could squash this word and instead it becomes salvation to the whole world. They thought they could cut him off from the inheritance instead they are the ones who are poor and have to go on their knees to Joseph for bread. They acted as judge and jury and now they have to be judged by Joseph.
So then look at the judgement, if Joseph judges them for what they did then they are exposed as having meant it for evil. So instead he judges that they were simply useful idiots to accomplish God's will to save the whole world.
That is the only path to salvation, to confess your sins and to utterly repent of who you are and what you have done in your own self. Everyone on earth is climbing the same mountain and will all arrive at the top of this mountain. This mountain top is where you bow your knee and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Now some will receive this truth and take the easy way up even though it is very narrow and there are few that find it. Others will reject this truth and so go a way that they think is best and yet it also will work out to the glory of God. Perhaps along the way that they have chosen and while going through the tribulations that they caused they will repent and be saved, yet so as through fire. Some won't ever repent, but it will still result in glory to God just as Pharaoh's hardened heart did.

The Christian life is simple -- be a good servant in the church, helpful, kind, and watching for the Lord's return.
Then fill your personal life with a walk with Jesus. Make it absurd for the Lord to even pretend to say "I never knew you".
Finally, you need to speak. Speak the word, frequently and often. A lot of people don't like to speak because "it causes trouble" it causes "friction" or you get into "battles". But that is how you get your sword sharpened. I post every day, and very often it leads to battles. Facebook shut me down for a month, I said nope, and instead cancelled my account the very day. They made it very difficult to cancel, they don't want that, they want to be able to monitor every word you speak and then zap you like you would a wild animal every time you step out of line. I didn't violate any rule, they refused to tell me the offense much less which post was the offending post. Some anonymous person complains about me so they simply suspend me for a month. This is like being in the ring fighting with the refs being completely rigged. That is not a fair fight, walk away.
I started this blog on another Christian website, but that website is really a site that is overrun with atheists. The rules are all slanted towards atheists. So then the same thing happened, again they didn't like something, refused to tell me what the issue was, but decided to punish me for some anonymous complaint without telling me what the issue was or what the offending post was. I think it was simply the fact that the could not prevail in a fair fight.
So then I moved the blog to this site. We are in a battlefield, if the refs are biased, simply walk away. The Lord said if they reject you in this city shake off the dust as a testimony against them and go to the next city. Since leaving Facebook they have dropped over 50% in their stock value. Have some self respect, these sites exist to beat up on Christians. Many Atheists can make a whole bunch of ignorant Christians look bad, so in that case they won't suspend the account. But if you get some who can demolish the atheists they'll just suspend them. If you walk away they lose half of their reason to exist. They are there to brainwash people. Facebook had a special deal with churches. That allows them to get the information on Christians all over the country. There is a concerted effort to go after Christians, Conservatives and Evangelicals. Facebook is definitely an integral part of that. Zuckerberg didn't spend $400 million to steal the election for Joe Biden because he his a Biden fan, he wants all these policies that Biden has put into place.
Anyway there is a spiritual battle going on, you want to be part of it everyday and you want to follow the directions in Ephesians. Be fully clothed with the armor, stand on the rock, and enter the fray. If you get knocked down get back up. It is a great way to be corrected by the Lord and to grow in the Lord and to get the word out.

I am expecting the dragon to spew out a flood after the rapture (Revelation 12). I do not know if this will be Taiwan demolishing a number of dams in China as a response to an attack from them.
The way I see it, the US gets a surprise attack with nuclear weapons that completely devastates the US leaving Israel and Taiwan "naked". Then Russia attacks Israel while China attacks Taiwan and they retaliate by blowing up the various dams in China.
The US is Sodom and Gomorrah
I have seen somewhere on the order of 35 different dreams, visions, and Biblical interpretation pointing to the US being Sodom and Gomorrah and the judgement by fire about to rain down on this country.
These warnings have been going on for years, David Wilkerson is a good example of a preacher who was sounding these warnings years ago.
Yesterday I drove through Chicago due to construction on the skyway. I saw two girls who obviously had been in a parade because of how they were dressed, and one of them was so shameless. I was stunned people could walk around a city like that. Then I realized this had been a "pride" parade when I saw a few flags.
When I saw the man attempting to assassinate Kavanaugh and his family I was reminded of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible. When you see these protests over abortion and the filthy nasty signs it reminds me of Sodom and Gomorrah. Then you hear the leaders and media covering for the violent protestors and illegal protests, it reminds me of God trying to find 10 righteous people in this city. I hear what the other Justices wrote in their dissent on the abortion ruling and it is stunning to me how they will lie so blatantly and completely ignore their authorization from the constitution.
I was in NY and the discussion began about abortion, eventually the focus of the discussion was on Louisiana and how poor people wouldn't be able to afford to go to another state to get an abortion. It occurred to me that they are so arrogant they are clueless. The rest of the country sees NY as a basket case, the idea that they should be telling the rest of the states what their laws should be is a painful joke. Not only so, if I told them I'd agree that they get to decide Louisiana law if, to be fair about it, they let Louisiana decide NY law they would balk. So their pride has blinded them to how hypocritical and arrogant they are. Still, I asked two questions: over the last fifty years what poor people have been benefited by the Roe v. Wade ruling? Also, why are white people in NY demanding that poor blacks have the right to an abortion in Louisiana, we know that blacks have had a far higher percentage of their babies aborted than whites. There was no response.
I have also seen that the richer an organization is the more likely it is connected to Free Masons and Satanists. Using that same rule of thumb the richer a country is the more worried I would be. We have heard prophecies that God will separate us from our wealth and power. That would be the stock exchanges and financial center of NY as well as our naval bases. This is what we are seeing in these prophecies. Coastal cities are hit with suitcase nukes. Tsunamis (perhaps set off by nukes underwater) devastate the entire East Coast. This makes sense. China "lusts after" our agricultural resources but has no use for our cities. They can replace NYC with Hong Kong and LA with Shanghai. They would surely want to deliver a knock out blow to our navy and they also have little use for the people living in these coastal cities.
We have been given repeated warnings that this is coming and we have also been told that the rapture will be like getting Lot out of these cities right before the fire falls.
It would not take huge hydrogen bombs, small suitcase nukes would be all that would be necessary to destroy the city. The blast could wipe out ten city blocks and then no one would want to live in a city that has nuclear contamination. These blasts would fry the electric grid. Take down enough of the grid and the entire electric grid of the country collapses. Without electricity the cities would descend into chaos in about 3 days, particularly if you do it at the height of the summer. Crime, looting, violent crime, starvation, and heat stroke would completely overwhelm the cities. Without electricity there would be no trucks delivering goods, hospitals, police they would all become dysfunctional. After 40 days of that the US as power would be gone. Arrogance and pride gone. Perhaps sixty million would die, but as one prophecy said "a life for a life". There were sixty million abortions in the US, so fair is fair.
What should we do?
Confess your sins. Plead the blood of Jesus. If your sins are forgiven and washed in the blood then it will be much, much better for you at the judgement seat. If you survive the attack read the word, fellowship with other believers and take a bold stand. Once this attack takes place we will very quickly be in the tribulation and you will have about three to three and a half years at best. Starving or beheading should be secondary concerns, the main concern would be to have a full repentance.

Yesterday I drove through Chicago due to construction on the skyway. I saw two girls who obviously had been in a parade because of how they were dressed, and one of them was so shameless. I was stunned people could walk around a city like that. Then I realized this had been a "pride" parade when I saw a few flags.
When I saw the man attempting to assassinate Kavanaugh and his family I was reminded of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible. When you see these protests over abortion and the filthy nasty signs it reminds me of Sodom and Gomorrah. Then you hear the leaders and media covering for the violent protestors and illegal protests, it reminds me of God trying to find 10 righteous people in this city. I hear what the other Justices wrote in their dissent on the abortion ruling and it is stunning to me how they will lie so blatantly and completely ignore their authorization from the constitution.
I was in NY and the discussion began about abortion, eventually the focus of the discussion was on Louisiana and how poor people wouldn't be able to afford to go to another state to get an abortion. It occurred to me that they are so arrogant they are clueless. The rest of the country sees NY as a basket case, the idea that they should be telling the rest of the states what their laws should be is a painful joke. Not only so, if I told them I'd agree that they get to decide Louisiana law if, to be fair about it, they let Louisiana decide NY law they would balk. So their pride has blinded them to how hypocritical and arrogant they are. Still, I asked two questions: over the last fifty years what poor people have been benefited by the Roe v. Wade ruling? Also, why are white people in NY demanding that poor blacks have the right to an abortion in Louisiana, we know that blacks have had a far higher percentage of their babies aborted than whites. There was no response.
I have also seen that the richer an organization is the more likely it is connected to Free Masons and Satanists. Using that same rule of thumb the richer a country is the more worried I would be. The government is a den of thieves, their "prayers" are simply "give us more money".

Jude 14-25 The Lord is coming with myriads of His holy ones
14 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones 15 to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”
I am really taken by this “the Lord is coming with myriads of His holy ones”. We are being trained into His army, He has raised up the church to be His army. We are not fighting for the Lord, we are fighting with the Lord. When you contend for the faith remember that, you are not alone, the Lord is with you.
This is a quote from the book of Enoch (Enoch 1). It is clear that Jude and John both quote from the book of Enoch, but I would extend that to Peter and Paul as well. There are passages in both of their writings that seem to be taken straight from Enoch 1 or based very much on what is written in Enoch 1. So I think it is fair to say the prophecies in the book of Enoch have been certified by the apostles. However, it is not part of the Old Testament, that doesn’t mean it isn’t of God. The Old Testament is His covenant with His people. It is a contract. It isn’t part of that contract, yet it is a prophecy of what is going to happen. Isaiah 45:3 I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.
16 These people are grumblers and fault finders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.
We are not ignorant of Satan’s devices or what is about to happen. We can see it unfold, worship God, but do not be dragged into the pit with them. They are a pathetic joke. AOC went public railing against Trump because her grandmother’s house was still damaged from Hurricane Maria. So a conservative talk show started a go fund me page to pay for repairs to her home and raised enough to fix up her entire neighborhood. But AOC shut it down saying they wouldn’t take the money. So it wasn’t about her grandmother’s house being fixed at all, rather it was about being a fault finder and a grumbler.
17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18 They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” 19 These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. 20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
Today you can see those who appear to have no purpose other than to divide people. Race baiting, many nasty attempts to divide people. They are scoffers, they are insulting, derisive, and mocking. You have to keep yourself in God’s love, you have to wait for mercy. They are shepherds that feed only themselves. Look at the BLM founder who bought $4 million in houses for her family and yet BLM took in billions and didn’t give one dime to the inner city to help minorities. The thing for us to do in these times is to keep building ourselves up in faith, to keep praying, and stay in God's love. This is our church life, our personal walk with the Lord and our ministry. Whatever your ministry is it should be in the Love of God awaiting the mercy of the Lord to bring us to eternal life.

there are others who legitimately doubt, be merciful to them. Some have been taken in by all the hate and vitriol and don’t yet realize they are being lied to. I have heard from some believers they don't know what to believe, especially with this topic of the rapture. I have heard different ones teach that Prince Charles is the Antichrist, others that Barak Obama is the antichrist and still others that Emmanuel Macron is the antichrist. Obviously at least 65% of these teachers are wrong and perhaps 100% are. You can say the same with many teachings today. So who do you believe? You believe the Bible, it is a sure word, you are to read the Bible and not be following man. Still on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains were visible during Noah's flood. Prior to that it was the same, they were on the water without any way to navigate. Please note, that is not the "Gregorian" or "Julian" calendar. The first day of the tenth month for Noah is the same as the first day of the fourth month for Moses. That would be either the evening of June 29th or 30th on our calendar. The first day of the month is when you can first see the sliver of the New moon, just like with this day when you can first see the tops of the mountains. This is why it is another Bible verse on the rapture. After the rapture everyone will know who was speaking the truth and who wasn't. But wait, what if some of the ones raptured were "secret" Christians? You know like the guy who buries the talent. The "secret" Christians are called "wicked and slothful" and are kicked out into outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, they will not be raptured.
23 save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.
This is what it is to contend for the faith. “Snatching them out of the fire” that is what happened to Lot, that is a picture of the last rapture of believers during the tribulation. This is what happened to Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego. Many wonder where was Daniel and so the theory is that he was raptured before the tribulation and these three represent those taken after the tribulation begins. Using New Testament parables I already showed how 12 believers would be cut down to 2 believers who are raptured before the tribulation. If Daniel denotes those two then it seems we would have six more raptured after the tribulation. What about the other four? Maybe those are the ones who are beheaded.
24 To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— 25 to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
