Kayla, this is a personal and difficult topic.
On a personal level I don’t support it but I dont want to push my views on others because I Know there are other instances where abortion would be in the picture and considered depending on the situation … which ultmatley remains a personal decision for the mother and the family.
But to be turned into a frenzy political talking point is what I don’t get. And that’s where @JTB talking points are valid because this is a political argument not a logical one.

This is a moral argument and the morality is quite clear, even supported by science life begins at conception and abortion is the termination of a life.

If you listen to liberal talking points too long their warped reasoning will enter your brain, protect yourself and follow the truth and what God states on the matter.

"Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him."
Psalm 127:3

The tribulation and God's judgment on the world is a personal and difficult topic.

"A life for a life" now that is a judgement that can be turned into a frenzy political point. Sure, it indicates 60 million life's in America are now about to be required from the Lord, but even more, worldwide it suggests hundreds of millions of lifes.

I do support "my body my choice" -- it was your body and your choice to get pregnant. Perhaps in some very rare cases it wasn't, but for the 90% it was. We will be accountable for the things we do in this life, and when we appear before the Lord we will be judged with what judgement we made. When I chose not to get vaccinated that was my body my choice, but the very same ones who scream they have the right to kill babies told me I had no right to reject an experimental vaccine being pushed by a bunch of liars. Again, that also will be something they will have to account for at the judgement seat. Also don't try to squirrel out of the "my body my choice" when you have to answer who decided to kill that baby.

Before I appear before the Lord to be judged it is my prayer that His blood will cleanse me from all my sins.

A lot of people don't know it, but Iceland with only the best of intentions successfully eliminated 'Down Syndrome Children' in their country. Iceland decreed that all pregnancies be screened for Down Syndrome and that those pregnancies be aborted.

Iceland has dictated that those people with Down Syndrome are unworthy of life. Occassionally, I see adults and young people with Down Syndrome who seem to be leading productive lives. Is it okay to eliminate them also, since their lives aren't worth anything?

Someone else had the same idea: Nazi Persecution of the Mentally & Physically Disabled (jewishvirtuallibrary.org)

Margaret Sanger and Planned Parrenthood and their eugenics program also wanted to do away with inferior humans. Of course, they set the standard on who should be eliminated.

But, but, but it's being done for the good of society!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course, they may be coming for you next???????????? Maybe you're too old/fat/senile...................etc

Have you ever considered that churches especially Catholic churches, the Salvation Army and others have often been at the forefront of providing assistance to unwed mothers and their babies and these agencies are better managed than the government run agencies.

I think the social ills of today and the building of the welfare state rests firmly upon the policies of the Democrats.
If you do the research you will find that conservatives have donated far more to charities than liberals.
I'd give you a dozen winners on that comment if I could. So many churches help families in need. Where I live here they have clothes drives and then have a special day for people in need where the clothes are nearly free. Churches usually have food they can give out. Salvation Army will even pay bills for those in need. Our church gives to a womens shelter in the city, among other places. You're absolutely right.

Another comment that deserves a dozen winners. I had a cousin, older that me that had down syndrome. One of the sweetest and most loving people. Lived a happy, productive life till the day she died. Absolutely it was Sangers idea to get rid of the ones she saw as unfit and not useful for society. And her idea helped form the Nazi ideals of how to get rid of the unwanted. Christians should always oppose abortion.

Yep, I hear a lot about how the poor will be affected by this ruling because if you are rural Louisianna poor you can't afford to go to another state to have an abortion. So now the big concern is how to abort more poor people.

I said we have 50 years of data with Roe v. Wade, show me where this has helped the poor? Not only so but it has been very biased against blacks killing them at a rate of around 2:1, what color are these poor people in Louisiana that these Northern Whites are so concerned about?

Yes, I have known a few people with Down syndrome and they always put a smile on your face and help you get off the rat race and appreciate being human.

Words of Truth from someone, somewhere......

Abortion does not cure poverty.
Abortion does not cure foster care.
Abortion does not cure trauma.
Abortion does not cure suffering.
Abortion betrays, hurts, and exploits people.

Abortion is NOT the answer to anything.

I really can't stand when people take Bible verses out of context to suit their talking points. The subject is abortion, it's sin, period. You can throw random verses at it, but it doesn't change the fact, that is a human being, abortion takes the life of that human every single time. Jesus and Paul would be on my side on this one, not yours.

It is the responsibility of the CHURCH to care for the widows and fatherless . The church took what 'they' considered an easy out and gave that responsibility to the government . The government does not do anything well. The church failed and should regain it God given responsibility

Jas 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

what you are missing is the government is not the Church. You praise the government for stealing from Joe Taxpayer while patting them on the back for enslaving folks. Shell we pray.. Thank you government this day for our food? Evil in a thin cloak of sweetness.

I always thought the original ruling was a weird one for the US

when I looked into the case of Roe vs Wade, it was two rich lawyers manipulating a poor pregnant woman, (Norma McCorvey) influencing her to abort when she didnt need to, when she could have been supported by the father. She was not and her children were adopted out. Those children are now grown up.

They have to live with this drama. But at least they are not dead. as for the absent dads...they will have to account to God for what they did as well as the rich manipulative lawyer who defended that case 'that woman have a right to end their babies lives'

apparently the female lawyer (Sarah Weddington) had an abortion herself but because she was richer and could just travel to Mexico to get one it was no big deal for her.

Also it does seem the 14th amendment supposedly protects anyone BORN in the US, but if you people want to stop you from being born I guess they can, it doesnt seem to cover anyone conceived in the US.

The real issue is probably poverty. When babies are born will they be given the priveliges and rights and freedom supposedly everyone in the US has? Not if they are illegitimate, or mixed race, or the dad takes off or their parents cant afford to have them. When they are adopted or fostered out, do their adopted parents actually love them the same or are they just treated as unwanted trash?

so people mistakenly think oh its just easier to 'terminate'.

Norma MacCorvey did lie and claim she was raped by 'a black man' (she was white) when in reality she was like many teenagers, naive and promiscuous.
in her memoir she did not seem to connect having sex with falling pregnant.

and she seemed completely ignorant of contraception.

many abortions are made by YOUNG pregnant mothers under the age of 18

when you start menstruation from age 9 up, your body is capable of having a baby. So there is this huge gap from when this happens to age 18 or so when you supposedly cannot aupport it. I think parents of young mothers place a huge pressure on their pregnant daughters to abort as well.

McCorveys own parents were divorced and alcoholic

The twist was that Norma McCorvey became a born again christian but then was subsequently manipulated into being the posterchild and paid to be anti-abortion.

Being a poor woman, she could be easily bribed. So..not sure what her true feelings then were about it. Her daughters, when they found out she was their birth mother, had difficulties.

I ain't missing a thing. It's all you kool-aid drinkers that are missing it. Because that's the point of deception, to make sure the deceived can't see.
