Ok.... You said "they" claim that a theory can't be wrong. I'm going to need a citation because of my knowledge no scientist has ever said that
Is that your idea of an apology?

I disagree.... we are turning into a third world country because of the liberal left.... the ones that brought us woke theory and critical race theory being taught in school instead of science, math, etc.... the same left that brought us totally open borders, allowing at least 250,000 mostly illiterate (at best) an/or criminal (at worst) to come in PER MONTH. The vast majority of these people expect "free stuff" when they get here, and the liberal left gives it to em.... They totally drain the hospital systems, school systems, and communities where they expect subsidized, if not free, housing.
None of them understand, or care about the American system of being able to pursue your dream, they expect it to be given to them. They also do not understand how the government works, and will likely vote for the side that promises them more free stuff.... the liberal left....
The same liberal left that is bringing the destruction of the family unit by promoting and encouraging transgenderism, homosexuality, and over all lack of any moral values.... along with the murder of millions of unborn human beings....

Yeah.... I don't think that a disdain for science has much to do with that....

^ Those are all facts. You are a liar. Another fact.
They're not facts unless HE presents them. That's a hallmark of the right

I'm more of a centrist like Bill Maher or Sam harris.
Because I feel like both the left and the right are prone to irrelevant emotional rhetoric
The left deceives the world

The right deceives believers

Sheep to the left of me, lemmings on the right, here I am stuck in the middle with few

And these days both sides act like spoiled brats. I don't wanna have nothin' to do with either of 'em.

So anyway... The collider.

higgs_boson_2x.png

"Why don't you just use the collider you already built to find it again?"
"Well we MAY have taken it apart and used it to make a death ray."
"Not a very big one."
"Yeah, nothing to worry about at all."

Little known fact: CERN staff retire to less demanding jobs where they can play pranks on the masses.

It's that whole collecting all the information possible about everyone on the planet and giving it to an artificial intelligence that just doesn't sit right with me...for some reason.

Huh? I don't get it. What does that have to do with the collider?

I mean you're not wrong... I don't like that either. I'm just not getting the segue. Your conversational road took a dog-leg and I ran off into the ditch.

Scientists and academics....always wanting to "see what happens when...." and they sometimes don't use rational thought behind it.

I love science articles. Thank you for posting this @Dude653 .
As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t see science as the enemy. Science is us trying to figure out HOW things work.
‘As far as conspiracy theories and people saying a lot of crazy things nowadays, I’ve also said that the history of that came from distrust in authorities Which has lead people into believing all sorts of crazy stories, such as the earth is flat etc.
I see conspiracy theory folks as entertainment now because there’s no amount of logic to convince someone who cant see anything beyond himself.
God gave me eyes to see and ears to hear. So when I look at the fossil evidence or through a telescope, I don’t say that “The earth is 6000 years old”. Or when I’m on a plane I don’t say “the earth is flat” or “nasa is evil for sending us fake pictures of round earth or moon landings”.
So just smile and move on.

Some new theories suggest that other civilizations may use quantum entanglement to communicate through vast space faster than light.
I’ve always thought about fascinating thought experiments which may become a reality down the human history.
The universe is essentially a time machine. When we look at the stars, we see the light from them millions of years ago but not as they are now.
The new images revealed from James Webb telescope captured a few clusters from stars 250 million years ago.
So if you are on those clusters NOW and point a powerful enough telescope back to Earth you’d see the dinosaurs.

This has made me think in the past to actually see Jesus on Earth if we develop some kind of level 3 civilization technology using quantum entanglement.

1. Find a location in space ~2000 light years away from Earth.
2. Travel to that location faster than light, using level 3 civilization technology such as quantum entanglement, warp drive or anything inconceivable to us at the moment.
3. Point a telescope powerful enough back to Earth which would have extreme level details so you’d be able to see people on earth. Kinda like satellite images but 1000 times better.
4. Then watch Jesus, God on Earth and His life and appreciate things to a whole nother level.

‘I’m pretty sure God would have some mechanism in place to forbid this but it’s a nice thought experiment which could become a reality if technology and science progresses at the same rate it has been for the past 200 years.

Science ultimately glorifies the work of God.

Yeah that's kind of my point. Maybe God gave us brains to figure these things out instead of everyone having a crazy knee-jerk reaction and just saying science is the devil.. the Arabs invented algebra . They were doing what was considered cutting edge scientific research about a thousand years ago until someone read the Quran and said math is the devil and they have a contributed anything to science since
America that needs to get his head out of his collective hiney and stop demonizing science or we won't be far behind

Extremism of any kind is bound to happen at any time.
It‘s important that the rest don’t get caught up in it and most people don’t . But with the rise of the internet extremism now has a larger reach. Back in the day everyone knew of the village idiot and dealt with him/her appropriately. Now the village idiot goes online, finds other village idiots and creates a community to infect the 95% of us.
This is why it’s important to just “shake the dust off your shoes“ as Jesus said and move on.

God has created us in His image with the ability to reason , think and articulate our existence in His creation and has given us free will to choose Him or reject Him based on that free will.
Science for me simply strengthens my faith in God. There are too many things in this universe which are unexplained even with extreme probability of coincidence If you take it down to Math.
Our God-given reason and intelligence ultimately leads us to Him.
We are born with the ability to seek God.
As I mentioned in another topic regarding non believers, during my talks with atheists I think they are in rebellion against God because they’ve had a bad experience usually with the type of extremist Christians that you’re also mentioning. Many of atheists are very well versed in scriptures and point many contradictions in the Bible but it’s their experience with other Christians which has given them a sour taste.
But when you look at other examples of true (atheist) people in the jungle or Amazon forests who are unaffected by the world and don’t know what Christianity is, or what religion is, when interviewed about the notions of death they said that “the spirit goes in the sky”.
This tells me that a human raised by the wolves in a forest shows a God-given inclination to search for a higher power and has a built-in spirituality. This also tells me that atheists are in rebellion against God due to their bad experiences with Christians.

Your mentioning of history regarding Arabs, science and where they are now and where America could be, is also something that I agree with but I think because of the internet, the reaction for common sense would be significant as compared to authoritarianism they experienced back then When they could eliminate the voices of those with common sense.
‘But internet can also be controlled like it is in China, yet those who are seeking use VPN programs to bypass the Chinese firewall. so the truth is out there for those who seek.

This reminds me of a Star Trek episode where they met an alien who was dressed in a military uniform from the Napoleon era. It was what he saw in the light rays coming from earth. When a ship with warp drive came to his planetary doorstep, it caught him by surprise that we don't dress like that anymore.

You would have to make those observations from at least three different directions. From any one direction there would be much of the time when you would not see the relevant Earth surface in daytime.
