Loneliness leads me into sin
Sin traps me in the garbage bin.

It smells, it stinks in this place.
I'm such a stinky disgrace.
I wonder if God can look at my face?

Please bring me up to breath the air.
Drama is near,
But there is nothing to fear.

I hear you.

In my youth, I spent a lot of time alone. Mostly due to rejection or just not fitting in with the "in crowd", and I definitely fell into all sorts of sin as a direct result of the same. In fact, I'd honestly go so far as to say that the only real fellowship that I had during much of my youth was "fellowship with demons" (I Cor. 10:20) because of different sins that I fell into which were definitely demonically-inspired.

Even now, as a grown man, I spend most of my time alone, but not by desire. I mean, I work, but, even then, I'm the only person in my department, so I pretty much work in solitary confinement all day long. I get out shopping and things like that, and I do spend some time with my three children, but I'm by myself the vast majority of the time.

It used to really trouble me, but I've changed a lot over the years. I hate to say this, but I've kind of accepted loneliness as my lot in life, and I now focus primarily on seeking to serve others. God does give me the opportunity to do just that from time to time, and I'm truly thankful for such opportunities, and his grace is sufficient no matter what situations I'm facing.

I wish that I could say something more to you, but, for now, I'll just say that I can definitely relate to what you're going through.

James 1:14-15: Each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.

Temptation rips my flesh
Wages of a sin is death
I say the lust of the heart burns my eye
I got one more excuse - just a little white lie

Waiting for the moment to sin
Telling myself that I won't give in
I feel the whip, but a man must change
Say Lord forgive me now, I'm going to change my ways

Same ol' sinner
Same ol' sinner
Wearing the chains
I get the same ol' sinner

Reaching out to the burning flame
Sweet summer sweat, she's faithfully tamed
Smiling pretty is her charm
I got the gun in my hand, got the needle in my arm

Same ol' sinner
Same ol' sinner
Wearing the chains
I get the same ol' sinner

I believe your lies, desire inside
The truth I know will hurt
Your devil-eyes, I can't deny
I know what lust is worth

The devil has a healthy appetite
Chew you up and spit you out tonight
Tell you it's love when it's only lust
Ashes to ashes and dust to dust

Same ol' sinner
Same ol' sinner
Wearing the chains
I get the same ol' sinner

I get the same ol' sinner
I get the same ol' sinner
Wearing the chains
I get the same ol' sinner

Interesting statement. I never thought about it that way. But then again I don't have friends to compare too.

If I struggle with sin, perhaps if I asked, the Lord would give me a hatred for it.

That depends.... Some sins aren't too tempting.... For example, I'm not tempted to steal from people. But look lustfully? That is a completely different story. God isn't going to take away a person's sexual desires. So you can hate it all you want, but the exploitation will be there either way. Anyone who tells me that they have been delivered from this, makes me wonder if something didn't go wrong with their body.

With hatred of a sin, comes godly sorrow when it is committed. Godly sorrow leads to true repentance. True repentance leads to lasting change. As far as sexual desire goes, deal with it in a non-sinful way. Ask the Lord for help.

I've asked the lord for help more times then I can tell you. But maybe I just don't have the will power. :D
That is why I posted the song. However google got some of the lyrics wrong.

I've DEFINITELY been delivered from it, and there's nothing wrong with my body.

It was demons driving me to lust...even as I've testified before. Once I got delivered from them, the desire ceased because it was their lusts that they were seeking to fulfill through my body members which I had yielded to them.

That's the God's honest truth...

Like I said earlier, you might benefit from a good Christian retreat. Or a seminar. If you want help bad enough, you'll find it.

That's your testimony, but there is no way for me to test that. So it's either i take your word for it, or I don't. But you can tell me that until your blue in the face, and won't make me any difference.

I can't go to a seminar, so you can suggest that until your blue in the face. LOL

It's ok to make a suggestion one time. But if I can't do it, I can't do it.

You could always ask God if it's true or not. Anyhow, I've not only been delivered from such demons, but I know others who have been as well. My point in mentioning this to you is to possibly help you somewhere down the line. Not because I personally convince you of anything, but only if God himself convinces you of the same.

I could ask God. But my prediction is that I'll get the same answer I always get from God. Silence.

I've been a Christian since the age of six, which means I've prayed more prayers then I can count on my fingers and toes. In my experience, God does not speak to me. Only thing I got in my head, is own thoughts, that might be mixed with some suggestions from Satan. For that reason I do the best i can not to listen to my own head too much.

Well, you'll definitely get silence if you don't ask.

:p

Anyhow, I'm definitely not trying to give you a hard time. I'm just trying to help, and I do pray for you myself.
