What if I do? Would it change that the Church clearly needs this role filled? Why are you not satisfied with the prophecies already given in the Bible? Do you wish to have your ears tickled?
I am rather of the opinion that Satan has a team of killers, who specifically aim to kill prophets where found. But that's a bit deeper on the topic than I'd like to go right now.
Right now, I'm asking which Denominations teach Prophecy, at all, and where are those who are supposed to help The church by speaking in it.
I didn't say anything about Charismatic, but I assume you are telling me that prophecy is taught in that Denomination.i for one wish for less of this charismatic madness.
What I asked is where are ours. You seem to have a similar concern, since you identified "useless garbage," as opposed to, if I can speak for you, a guidepost.
I am too. This is my problem. I see that it existed in the OT, existed in Acts, and Paul speaks of it as a Gift. But who has the book on being a prophet? Which of the Denominations are teaching this particular gift?I am curious to know what your definition of prophecy is.
Moody does wonderfully on biblical exposition/Wisdom of this world, but are they speaking Prophecy? The Charismatics seem to have the Gift of Tongues down, but are they speaking Prophecy?
These gifts are set aside by my radio pastor, laying of hands and actual healing expected? This is what we do when we want to say we did it per the NT, "but we need to send our family to the doctor first..."
