I want to know single men's opinion on marriage. The dating scene and christianity have both changed over the last about 30 years.

We also have third wave feminism, the advent of 'strong, independent women' who disdain men, and men's counter movements like MGTOW, Redpill ideology, and the Manosphere.

With the state of the world, what are you single men's thoughts in marriage? Is it something you want, are pursuing, are considering, or are rejecting, and why?

What are these?
Never heard of such things.
But they sound intriguing...like maybe I'm missing out on something.

MGTOW is not really a movement.. It's a life style.. An attempted adaptation to the changes in society mostly caused by feminist activism and the changes to divorce law over the last 50 years in the western world..

MGTOW is an acronym for Men. Going. Their. Own. Way.. These men have decided to avoid marriage and co-habitation with woman because of the vulnerability to the ease of No fault divorce and the subsequent stripping of assets and access to Children that all too often happens in the divorce law system in countries in the western world..

Redpill means different things to different people so to define it is practically impossible.. Basically it is men who teach other men on the nature of woman and culture effects on men.. It is mostly about preventing men being manipulated by woman and the system.

The name Redpill was inspired by the Movie the Matrix where in a scene one of the characters is offered a red pill that would free him from the false world image he was living in and would cause him to see the world as it really was..

The manosphere is just another name for the Redpill.. describes the loosely connected group of online men who share their POV on society and woman in general..

There is another group called the MRA.. that stands of Mens Rights Activists who are a more organized group.. They are usually focused on changing laws they deem as discriminatory against men.. Many of them having been burnt in unfavorable divorce court settlements..

MGTOW is for men as feminism is for women - it started as a reaction to injustice, but it turned into a pack of rabid dogs who will snap at anybody from "the other side" of the war and anybody who disagrees with them. And, like feminism, it still claims to be a reaction to injustice.

So many movements have started out with good intentions, but have attracted malcontents who latched on and turned the movements into vehicles for their own vendettas. I wonder if the people who started MGTOW regret it?

Wow....

If these guys are forming groups....
That in itself says they have issues.

I hang out with the guys for drinking coffee on Thursday mornings. Most of us are married, there are a couple of single men but they readily admit to making mistakes in marriage.

To me, it's more than enough of a testosterone festival for the week. I love my wife. She is my best friend. And I know that the other married guys lean heavily on their wives for a LOT of things.

Many in the group have been divorced and have remarried....I think only two or possibly three have the same wife they have always had. Out of the three dozen in attendance. It's a fun bible study group that I enjoy.

To answer your question, beats me. I'm not doing any of the things you listed: wanting, pursuing, considering or rejecting. I'm just living my own life.

If I happen to meet a nice lady, we start talking a lot and eventually marry, that's cool. I'm not going out looking for her though. If I never find her, or rather if she never finds me, I will still have a life I have enjoyed living.

KKK started out as a group of upstanding men in communities that were simply looking to uphold respectable standards and morals in their rural communities . Nothing at all like the hate group it has become today. In fact the founder tried to disband it and failed. The hate had completely taken over the group.

You are prey....and getting to be juicier and juicier prey all the time. Practically a unicorn.

Single, Christian men without a debilitating vice....AKA a unicorn.

If the women find you,...you won't be single long. RUN FORREST RUN

In the shameful millennial generation now aging it is better to have two true brothers in God and die a virgin than it is to take a risk on the deceitful and defiled shieldmaidens of Satan. Though the sad truth is to find even one true brother in God is almost as rare as finding one eligible woman.

I think it is a mistake to write off the opposite gender altogether. Not all women hate men, etc., and vice versa. I think you need to have more exposure to different types of women (it seems you only have been around man-hating women). Do you think the women in your church also hate men?

I am not a member of MGTOW, for all the MGTOW are the manwhores that fell for the wiles of the Devil possessed modern women, hence why they are so broken.

I have not heard of any of these terms except for MGTOW (I learnt it on here. I admit I first read it as Meow lol) I must be living under a rock and glad for it.

"Modern" women expect husbands to help with the cooking, laundry, child-rearing, etc., since they are also working full-time. Seriously, these are the only things demanded of modern women, including modern Christian women. If men help out with this, this will keep the modern woman very happy. It's not that complicated.

Doubtful. Considering the entire premise was surrender to the females they claim are weaker, on behalf of fear of other men.
The answer is to love your wife even as Jesus loved the Church. Take the Cross. But BEFORE WE GET THERE, BE MEN, and lead.

Except that women are still allowed to make the choice, men are considered outcast by the males and the females if they don't work. And females are given expensive, very limited educational spots in Universities, to gain educations that, when given to a man in the past; would have resulted in an average of 35-40 years of increasing responsibility and service in the field, 8 days a week so to speak, and without concern for being in an office and its politics, and pains of getting up every single day.
Only now, the women taking these positions in the universities are quitting their "Careers" at 30 to raise children, or take a sabbatical, and because they know they need to be on hand for their children, instinctively, they are rebelling at the 5 day work week, and overtime, and loyalty to a purpose despite the office politics and getting up every single day.

So our labor-force is splintering under the weight of labor movements, and claims of "Exploitation!!" for wanting workers on site, as opposed to their own homes, and for wanting regular work hours, instead of whatever fancies "the empowered."

Lol, you'd not know the KKK if they changed you tires and shook your hand in church. You're stuck with the FBI's view, which is to say the Talmudist view, which is to say Satan's view, of everything.

Ask your local Mossad agent on the Editorial board to talk about Likud and the Racism of Israel, our Greatest Ally! lol. Crickets, or more likely endless circular blather full of hate and rage, if they don't just change the topic.

That is to say, all nations have people with problems, and views that are "extreme." Shall we focus on 13/50 when I think of Emmanuel Baptist on MLK Drive?
