The Colbert crew were arrested for breaking into the Capitol building and the same prosecutor who is investigating the January 6th event is the one who dropped charges against Colbert's crew. Some misguided people are trying to say that those people who trespassed during January 6th are being treated very differently, having been locked up for a year, often in solitary confinement, etc. But this is a false equivalency. The people who were locked up were Trump supporters. There were many like Ray Epps who were also there and involved, they didn't get locked up because they were part of the deep state effort to smear the Trump supporters. So you can see, they are treating Colbert's crew the same, they also are democrats who were there to mock the Trump supporters.

I had a great idea on how to make money. Suppose you were a hedge fund manager or a billionaire and you were looking for a good investment. Stock market is down 30%, Crypto has blown up, and bonds are down and looking to keep falling.
So listen to this idea.
1. Buy up a lot of farm land.
2. Meanwhile let's destroy lots and lots of food processing plants, causing the price of the food grown on your land to go up!
3. Let's also provoke Russia into attacking Ukraine by encouraging Ukraine to join NATO. Then as food from Ukraine and Russia is shut off to the rest of the world price of the food grown on your land increases even more!
4. But wait, there's more! The Dutch are one of the great food exporters, lets come up with all kinds of idiotic rules to shut down their food production. Boom! you are making money hand over fist!
5. But if we are going to do this I suggest we shut down our production of natural gas, create a shortage worldwide so that fertilizer becomes very expensive and this in turn makes for all kinds of shortages in the food supply!
This is a win/win (the investor makes a lot of money and you as the stock broker/lobbyist also makes a lot of money). True we are talking about WWIII and worldwide famine. But we can shine up that turd, war is a great opportunity for the military industrial complex to get rich and famine will encourage people to give money to all the charities that these billionaires run which will make it look like they are the good guys.
All we need to make this a reality is a really crooked President who will do whatever we tell him, and we also need to control both the house and the Senate.

Biden is being urged to declare a climate emergency in the US based on the fires and heat in Europe. I think we can all see that we will need to have unlimited mail in ballots in the November election if there is going to be any hope of sending trillions of dollars to benefit the oligarchs of the green new deal.
