Hi, I'm currently using the jeramiah study bible which is amazing, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for some good study books?
Which version of the Jeremiah Study Bible?

Pastor Jeremiah is Evangelical. Be cautious when you read scathing opinions of his service to God.

There are other pastors out there whose followers will sometimes bad mouth what they see as the competition.

Dr.Jeremiah pastors what is sometimes referred to as a mega church. Meaning he has a huge congregation. Sometimes jealousy invites slander.

If his study Bible fills you with the desire to know more, I'd say trust that. God leads. Man merely serves God's will. We all learn in a unique manner from God's words. If the Jeremiah study Bible feels right at this leg of your study journey, stay with it.

A great website I've found is Studylight.

God bless your journey.

Pray before you read, asking God to silence all voices but His own, so that you may hear His Word clearly and effectively.

Hello again Caroline :) I have listened to David Jeremiah on kari55 radio, which is also available online at kari55.com. You can check out their program schedule, which is back-to-back teachers pretty much 24/7 Weekday Schedule - KARI 550 AM It gives the program name but not the teacher name. David Jeremiah's is called Turning Point and is on three times a day throughout the week (weekend schedule differs). You can also check out some of his archived teachings via his online ministry page here: Listen to Dr. David Jeremiah Sermons - Turning Point Radio (oneplace.com) You may enjoy kari55 programs to get a feel for various teachers and their styles, as you can receive insight from even those you may not care for :D One of my faves is Dr. John Neufeld of Back to the Bible Canada :) He has a warm and engaging style very similar to DJ's, and exposits Biblical teachings wonderfully well :) You can search some of his messages here: Dr. John Neufeld Messages + Bible Teaching at Back to the Bible Canada

Olive Tree Bible App

With in-app purchases (very reasonable, IMO) you can get the version of the Bible you want and study tools.
I usually load the New King James Version with the Strong's reference numbers. I can click on nearly any word in the scripture to bring up the original Greek or Hebrew as well as cross-references to its use throughout the Bible.

I also want to recommend this series to you :) I just peeked at your profile page and
see you are not a new convert, and yet anyone at any stage of their Christian walk
could benefit from this presentation, which is really very well done (ten videos total :)).

If you enjoy Biblically based movies, this one is word-for-Word :D

Awww, thank you for your kind words. I love being of assistance when I am able :)(y):)

I was going through the Alpha course when I realized I no longer needed any/more convincing of the Truth of God's Word :D

I was almost fifty at the time  It has been quite the journey! LOL

Strong's Dictionary and Exhaustive Concordance isn't inspired by God or perfect, but it is a good study tool.
It's on the selves of many preachers and students of the Word.
The second choice is Vines. This dictionary is a good supplement to Strong's and a handier size. If you don't mind KJV, I can provide a website that, although I don't use, it does have good features for word searches, etc.

So is Olive Tree.
I've added several tools that cost a little money. I could not get the same functionality with e-sword. BUT e-Sword is a great app! Highly recommend.
I understand it is very interactive, though I have not tried it myself :)

This is true.

But there are also credible concerns about Jeremiah's shady dealings to get on the New York Times best seller list. These shouldn't be dismissed without looking into it for yourself. See Faith-Based Fraud by Warren Smith, Ch. 11, pg. 237. There are also some online articles. For example this one at the Roys Report. Gaming the best seller list is common and not illegal. But for someone who claims to follow Christ, it seems a little unethical if not hypocritical. Jesus warned about the Pharisees who teach one thing but do another. We're to steer clear of them.

Jeremiah's a leading figure in the evangelical industrial complex; that is, those who have turned Christianity into big business. I don't know how many books he's written but it's a lot. Most of his teaching is geared to the biggest mainstream audience he can get. That's because that's where the profits are.

If you go to Bible Hub you will find all the study aids you need at no cost. However, be advised that commentators have their own theological biases, so you need to always keep that in mind.
