Is faith without works dead to GOD?

First - what you put in post #1 has nothing [directly] to do with the thread title or topic.
Second - it is not that faith without works is "dead" to anyone - but it could be said that faith without works is dead to everyone - depending on the exact nature of your intent for the statement.
If you are trying to describe a sense of it like we mean when we refer to ourselves as being 'dead to sin' - then, that doesn't apply here at all.
The idea of faith without works being 'dead' is not saying that faith without works is not faith, as if the 'without works' causes in any way the faith to be "reversed" or "undone"; rather, it simply means that faith without works is a dead faith - in the sense of being ineffective / impotent / etc.
In other words, faith without works is a 'dead' faith - i.e. - it is not a 'living' faith.
A 'living' faith "produces" [good works]; a 'dead' faith does not.

Indwelt Christians good works are due to our faith. We aren't self-serving we're kingdom serving.

Can you imagine the place if we had to work our way to heaven?
It would be like a billionaires members only country club here on Earth. Filled with people gloating over what they stored up in heaven due to their working to have rewards deposited in their name in heaven.
The perishable cannot enter the imperishable.

First thing that I think of is that the book was written to address heaven bound believers in Christ. The second is that it's not addressing their eternal destiny. And third is that dead faith is still faith. It doesn't say that dead faith doesn't exist. It says that it's dead. I go to funerals and look at the body in the casket, but never said that it did not exist. I wouldn't ask that body for any favors though..

If we say we have faith and do no good for our fellow man,woman, we give evidence our faith is a lie because we ignore the leading of God to serve his will on Earth.
The thief on the cross served both the will and leading of God unto good deeds from his cross.
Because with his dying breath he gave testimony of Jesus to the thief on the other side of Jesus and in so doing testified of the kingdom. And then he asked Jesus to remember him when Jesus would come into his kingdom.
How many of us suffering in such a way as that thief would testify to someone suffering just as much, first? And then ask Jesus to think of them last.
