Romans 9:19-25
why do you skip Verse 17?
17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I raised you up—to demonstrate My power in you, so My name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”

which of those professing to be Followers of God do you see are hardened and not Glory?

Does not the fact of God's sovereignty in all things bring Glory to Him?

"I was smart enough to make the right decision" glorifies man and involves pride.

Me personally? I wasn't "smart enough", and I didn't make the "right choice" - God came along and pulled me out of the filth of my own making and I was saved. That Glorifies God.

did God come to you and offer you Eternal Life if you just Believed He was the Way to Eternal Life?

Made the attempt without opening a Bible to recall the most relevant verses, everyone is free to open their own Bible and read the full passage. Either way, my point is made.

God's wrath poured out Glorifies Him as much as His Mercy. God will not be mocked.

and we know this to be TRUE!
no one is foolish to argue against the Word of God!
which is why even though God can do as Romans 9:17-25 claims, He also is abiding by what Peter tells us in his 2nd Epistle and 3rd Chapter: 9 The Lord delays not concerning the promise, as some count delaying, but is longsuffering for your sake, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Do you want my personal testimony? Perhaps it's too long for this thread...
i want to know that God came to you and offered you Eternal Life.
and then you submitted by your being choosing His Offer because you Believed He was telling you the Truth.
^
was this how it happened ultimately even though you can write 20 pages how it was done?

for this question i present to you a simple Yes or No will do.

and in another post, i would love to hear about your experience coming to God <3

All isn't everyone alive... If anyone went to hell at all your interpretation of the passage would make God unable to accomplish His Will - and we know that's an untruth

Ultimately yes, that's what it took.

but they went to Hell because they refused God's Invitation, not that God sent them there on purpose!

Thank You!

that's how it works for Everyone!
sadly, many will reject God in this moment :(

I don't believe it to have been possible to reject God. That's honest. The choice for me, was no choice at all. My life, my entire life, came together in that moment as the very reason for my existence.

I can't explain it. But neither can I deny it. It wasn't me. This saved child of God is a stranger to myself, yet my whole purpose for being.

i believe you 100%

but like the thread title, MANY are CALLED, [[FEW]] are Chosen!

so there's many in the situation you and i both faced in that moment we submitted to God who reject that invitation. but, they cannot deny on Judgement Day God tried to give them Eternal Life, either.

i would never serve a God who did not offer someone Salvation and on Judgement Day say i made you to burn in Hell.
for one, the greatest and best descriptive ONE WORD that describes who God is is LOVE!
where is the LOVE creating people to spend Eternity in Hell?

before the foundations of the Earth, God already knew in any circumstance Pharaoh would deny Him. so by hardening him for the Glory of God was not a thing that is unjustified. God already knew Pharaoh [[((would never ever serve Him))]]!
