Today started out frustrating ,going through a curvy road trial. Bad news came early and found out I was being lied too by employer. When confronted he got rude and nasty. But I was happy I stood up for myself. God does not want door mats. Instead of moping around house I went to Walmarts for essentials.
I have to tell you that walmarts is hiding the fact they are aka a singles club ;) . While trying to get my water a young man about 35 approached me and asked if I was single. I go yes and smiled. Figured he maybe looking for a date for his dad or something. Then wanted my phone number for himself,lol ! Mind you I am 53 and have a son almost his age. I go I don't even know you I really do not think I can give my number out. He looked like I had just kicked a puppy and off he went. An older man standing there was listening. I go I could never date someone my son's age. He goes "I am old and single!" I stood there with my mouth opened not knowing how to take any of this. He went on and on and told me he thought I was beautiful. But I never gave my number out, he gave me his,lol!
Thinking maybe cheaper then dating sites etc. just saying ;)

Life can throw some curve balls, for sure.

O. Henry was asked how he came up with so many stories. He said they came from observing life all around him. To demonstrate he whipped up a story on the spot, "Dearest Walter With Hardboiled Eggs," based on the menu.

“I am old and single” must be the best pick up line I’ve ever heard.
 
That never happens to me. All I get is "Can you put your mask on" or "Your card has declined" I miss Walmart, I used to go in there and do a lot of window shopping. Everything you could ever want is in there.

I joined a Christian dating site awhile back. I had many spammers, one guy who seemed ok until I talked about my son having some issues, then went crazy with rude texts, and had a few that had plenty of women they talked too. So this is the closest I have been to a date thus far,lol. I have almost been divorced for a year. Mainly letting God lead me.

Well the older guy took his mask down to talk to me. I do not wear a mask,lol!

we dont have walmart, we have K mart
never been approached by shoppers at Kmart for my number
I dont like ppl calling me all the time..the last one tried to do that got ghosted.

The boy next door tried to get my number but im like why? you just live right next door, if you want to talk to me then just stand near the fence.

Wow you had an eventful day Willow. We dont have Walmart here, perhaps we should lol. Seems better than a christian dating site (which I am not on but did try ages ago) The horror stories of them are too much.

But are they better or worse than the horror stories we hear about people seen at Walmart? :P

There's an entire subsection of memes about people who go to Walmart dressed weird (or lack of dress) and/or do weird things - not intentionally, for the sake of being weird, but just because they are weird people.
 
We have the Warehouse, where everyone gets a bargain

Kmart only sells fake plants. But their toy section is pretty good and their clothes are more stylish than the Warehouse. I dont know who does the buying for the Warehouse but their fashion sense isnt that great lol.

Farmers is the other department store, but its more expensive. Youd think it would sell farming stuff but no it sells everything EXCEPT seeds and tractors.
