Until recently, I never heard the term "caduceas". It's the pole with two snakes wrapped around it and is symbolic of medicine today.
It reminder me of Moses lifting up the serpent for healing, which is how our Lord said he would be lifted up.
Another member I spoke to about this, if I understood him correctly, said the caduceas was once a symbol of thieves and liars, which made me think of how our sweet Jesus was thiught of by people who didn't know him. He "identified" himself with sinners, eating and drinking with them. But he wasn't a sinner. He was only perceived as a sinner by people who didn't know him.
Can you imagine our Father looking at his Son being portrayed as evil In any way?
There's only one way and it's sinful. Our Father knew our Savior would be thought of and accused of being evil by ungodly men who convicted and executed him...which is a transgression of the law.
